Maya

It was a windy day in Rawalpindi and i was in my school attending classes and doing my kid things. Around 2 i used to come home. Grandma was as-usual in the kitchen preparing food for me. I hugged her from the back but she got scared and throw a slipper towards me. I stared running trying to avoid her target. My mum came downstairs in a rush after hearing my scream. My Lord you should look at the state she came downstairs not gonna lie it was funny though. As it was July so duh “summers”!!! It was fucking hot and I was thirsty as hell. So my Grandma made “Red sharbat” its a traditional drink in Asian countries especially in pakistan. Not gonna lie that drink really refreshed me and i went upstairs to my room dropped my bag and head straight for the shower. Man in hot days like today shower really helpe me to relax. In evening i was doing my homework just that time dad came in my room and told me that i had an aunt and they are going to visit us lot 10th of next month. God firstly i was shocked, i had an aunt all these years and i never knew. Secondly i was excited cause all my cousins were coming tho so we’ll spend time together and have some fun. I started to count days and finally that day came. It was understood the amount of excitement i had i went to receive them with my dad. There i met him for the first time along with the rest of the family. That time i only greeted him as my cousin brother but i never knew what the future holds. Eventually we became best friends cause duh he was only a year older than me so technically we were age fellows. Our bond eventually grew stronger and that day came when them lot went back. All of us lot went back to our normal lives how it was used to like dad on his job, mum on house duty me in school along with my sisters just with one difference we cousins used to face time each other all the time. So basically we were connected to each other 24/7. Days went and it was EID and all the family members came to my house. Like my house was the centre of all our family as in everyone used to come and we had a small family dinner cause my aunt live 6 hours away from us lot so it was difficult for her to visit off and on so she used to visit on special occasions like EID( muslim traditional festival) or maybe birthdays etc etc. So along with everyone my aunt with her family came as-well. Again i was in seven sky. I actually never knew why i always go over the heads whenever i see him. In my heart i always knew he was my cousin brother but i don’t know for me i was special seeing him in person. Like don’t get me wrong i was happy for the rest of them as-well but he had a special place. He a sister named laila and i had a great bond with her. She was my crime in partner and i used to share everything with her. So Yh i was with Laila the whole time but my eyes was on him and his on mine. I don’t know but we share a strange bond which was mysterious.

I don’t know but ever since i’ve seen her i’m lost in her. I know she is my cousin sister but whenever i look at her i feel a strange spark in her eyes which i never felt before. Something is different about her which i can’t get my hands on.

The first meeting, the bond we share i don’t know it’s special. She’s got a sister n a brother but despite all of them she’s special. I can’t get my eyes off her. All of them lot are here( family!!!) but my eyes are on her. It’s like she’s got some kind of magnetic on her and it’s attracting me, sorry couldn’t help myself.

So we were here for family dinner and for that i have to meet everyone, apparently it’s some kind of tradition that i have to meet everyone including the one day kid of the family. Ugh its annoying, like i’m not that kind of person who shows up and greet people sorry its not my thing but things i have to do for my mum cause she’s a bit too much traditional and wants her kids to be social with everyone especially her side of the family which i generally dont understand but i do for her despite her knowing I’m antisocial. Dont get me wrong there two types of people who i try avoid which are

1- people i’m not comfortable with

2- whom i get negative vibes from

3- whom i don’t know

It’s actually kinda funny despite all these points i’m forced to meet everyone including These……

So i met everyone and where theres everyone she was also included. OhhhMyyyyyGodddddd i was soo nervous. Question arises why was i soo nervous???? She’s my cousin and best friend at the same time and both of us share a great bond and were super comfortable with each other, yet i was soo nervous. So in nervousness i said “hello, how u doing?”. She started laughing and repeated the same question i asked her in a deep voice making them weird face which i kinda find cute though.

Seeing her making weird faces i started laughing and had that strange thought why do i find this cute but alright cute it is.

Days went into months and months went into years we don’t get to see each other. That time we both started college and then uni so we both were caught up in our lives. So we never got to meet in person for like 7 years. It was weird cause if one time i tag along she was caught up in exams and if she goes I’m stuck with my work. So it was difficult for us two to meet up. We used to FaceTime whenever we had time. So basically it was difficult…

life’s going to be. But she’s living for now in innocence but she has to be aware of what her future stands for..:.

Look at her!!!!

It’s my sister laila’s wedding!!!

OMG time flies soo bad i still remember when we were kids and used to roam around in our garden. Used to play hide n seek and now she’s getting married. Hard for me to believe tho.

So where there was everyone she also came and OhhhhMyyyyGodddd. The last time i saw her i was 17 and she was 16, but my lord she’s turned into a really beautiful lady with the same problem I CAN’T KEEP MY EYES OFF HER!!! Still!!!! Lord its difficult…

I went towards her,that time she was with my sister on the stage talking, so i was standing there for five minutes like an invisible person cause that idiot was so into her gossip that she never knew when did i came and was even standing for her to look at me. So after a long time for me waiting she finally noticed me. Yesh Lord you finally made her notice, so the one and only Maya Hussain noticed me with a deep gasp, again she made that weird again which made me laugh. I don’t know why it’s cute but funny at the same time.

So i took her for a seat and we two shared all the details we had within these 7 days, uni talks, gossips like everything. It felt like nothings changed apart one thing she’s a 23 year grown up lady who’s started going to work and handling her responsibilities. So while having a chit chat with her i get to know she’s moving next week and right next to my building and one more thing she’s working in a library which is two streets cross our place.

Wow!!!!!!!

I was soo excited that we two can spend the time together. Going for work, lunch, dinner etc etc and i think she was also excited cause i can feel from her face. Like duh i know her.

So we were together all the time during these functions. Asian functions are damn long man, it’s like they don’t end, all the functions lasted a week and now i’m fucking tired and just want my apartment and bed where it could be just me,my comfy sofa and a whole bucket of popcorn whilst me watching a movie and don’t worry about maya she’ll be with me. She can’t stay away from me so Yh don’t worry.

She’s finally shifting!!!!

Ohh don’t worry i’ll be a good cousin or maybe something else ugh i don’t know and help her shifting. So here was i in her apartment unboxing her stuff while she was putting them in there right place. Ugh she’s a organised freak, brother i usually i can’t stand these freaks but you know she’s maya so she’s different i every ways but you should look at actual people WHO ARE NOT FREAKS!!!

I mean how can man be soo clean freak????

It’s soo much work man!

If you go through my point of view if your bed’s clean your clean no matter how dusty your living area and other areas are.. it’s just how i am sorry can’t do anything.
