Dominic is at home, studying his lessons.
His friends have arrived wearing jerseys and bringing along with them a ball.
Martin
Dominic, why in the world are you studying for so long?!
Dominic
Yeah, it's because I still haven't learned our homework.
Kyle
I myself haven't learned it either, but I really wanted to play, so I'm going to play first.
Why don't you come along with us Dominic?
Dominic
Miss Nancy will scold me if I don't learn it...
Kyle

Dominic stood up and didn't answer the teacher.

Dominic
Forgive me Miss Nancy. I didn't study properly, so I don't know it well.
Miss Nancy
If that is so, then come here! I shall punish you!
Dominic goes to the teacher warily.
He was so afraid that he stands with his body shaking all over.
The teacher then punishes him. He felt extremely horrible.
Dominic
Miss, my friends told me that if we pray, we will be forgiven.

Third Scene
Mrs Dawn, Dominic's mother, is making tea.
Dominic arrives home, and he can be seen wiping his tears.

Dominic, are you crying?
Dominic
Mom! Yesterday while I was studying my friends kept inviting me to play. And even when I told them that I have to study they persistently kept inviting me.
Mrs Dawn
And.... you're crying because of that?
Dominic
I didn't learn my homework, so the teacher punished me.
Mrs Dawn
Why didn't you let me know about it while they were inviting you yesterday? You ended up being punished because you didn't obey your parents.
Dominic
No mom, I was punished for not learning my homework.
Mrs Dawn
Well you listened to your friends, isn't that disobedience?
After all you ended up not learning your homework.
Dominic
That means my friends are bad friends, aren't they mom?

Dominic proceeded to enter his room.

I did not learn my homework, and the teacher punished me.
Mr Leon

Dominic

Dominic's friends arrived.

Mr Leon
You can play when it's four and a half this evening.
Dominic
