“My dear daughter you do know that you have to go.”

I turned my head and flared at the perfectly marbles floor. Why was everything here so perfect?!

“I’m not going father. There is nothing you can do to make me.”

“Honey. Look at me.”

I turned and stared into those cold blue eyes and shivered. His tinkled face was scrunched into a worried face that didn’t fit him well at all.

“Honey. I love you so much. You know you have to marry away soon and This kingdoms proposal will be the best time for you to go.”

Why? Why do I have to do everything you say? I’m tired of being a package for you to mail to other kingdoms!

“Dad.” I said calmly and deadly. “I said I’m not goin.”

He stood from his throne and I stood from my knees. He crossed his arms and stared me over. I shook uncontrollably. He smirked. “You have the perfect body, the perfect skills, the perfect eyes but you dare say you won’t marry?”

His voice was so calm I couldn’t stand it. “Dad I just don’t think that I should marry someone...I’m only fifteen!”

“And that’s the age most people marry!” He shouted. I winced and stepped back.

“Look honey”

“Stop calling me that!”

I immediately regretted it. He glared at me and stepped forward. “I think you forgot that I am the king and you are the princess. I don’t care if you think you won’t marry.” He stepped back and said calmly,”however I can’t marry you off without your permission my the court law...but I can take you into prison.”

I gasped as cold hands grabbed my arms from behind me.

“Take her to the tallest tower in the kingdom. And don’t let her out untill she says she will marry. “

The gaurd dragged me up the kingdom and onward the y’all tower. I was frozen. The world spun around me as my knees hit the cold concrete of the tall tower. I heard the door slam behind me. The last thing I thought was I won’t quit.

The days went by to soon be followed my months. Every day Dad came up and asked me “will you marry” every day I replied “no” I refused to marry.

The marks on the wall made with a broken slab of concrete grew bigger and bigger by the month. The only things in the room were a hard bed and a thin sheet. There were no windows and no decorations. Every day I got three meals and once a month I got a shower that always required twenty guards surrounding me.

To pass time the first year I simply thought. I soon found out that I couldn’t handle it anymore. That’s when I started training. At first I strengthened my muscle. I worked on all the exercises I saw the guards do in there training and then I made some. I focused on martial arts just based on what I knew. I was able to do all the tricks I had seen professional people do within the first year. My body had gotten slightly toned and I was no longer as weak. I made my first move when I was seventeen. A gaurd next to me reached out during my shower. I leaned to the side and with one swift movement of my arm I snapped his arm. That caused me a day without meals but I learned that after that no guards touched me again. I also learned that the man had gotten his arm bone snapped in half and could no longer work with that arm. I was satisfied enouph for a while. But soon I wanted more.

I wanted freedom.
