Aiden's Pov

Ouch!! Ouch!! What's going on, why can't I remember anything??

I can only remember my name Aiden but why??

That's all I know about myself.

I'm in a dark room right now with 12 children that are more like my agemates.

STAND UP CHILDREN blared out of the loud speaker hanging on the wall which I didn't notice before.

All the children well except me quickly stood up in fear not until the voice blared again EVEN YOU KIDDO.

It was then I new they meant business so I quickly stood up.

YOU ARE SOMEWHERE NOBODY CAN FIND YOU SO DON'T THINK OF ESCAPING, the voice said

Not that I know my way around though.

YOUR MEMORIES HAVE BEEN WIPED OUT, NOW YOU'LL BE GIVEN A SEDATIVE, DON'T TRY TO STRUGGLE OR YOU'LL REGRET IT.

Now I know why I couldn't remember anything at first.

I was still thinking when a nurse came in with injections.

The look on her face only smelt one thing: DANGER.

She started with the kids in front.

Those who struggled, died and when she was done, it was only the six of us remaining.

The voice from the speaker blared again:

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DISOBEY, I CLEARLY REMEMBER I SAID DON'T STRUGGLE.

It was then I knew we were in deep shit

Well, at this time, our eyes were getting blurry, well, except mine.

All the kids fell asleep except me and the nurse was like, how come??

The voice again blared from the speaker:

DIDN'T YOU GIVE HIM THE SEDATIVE??

I did, the nurse replied.

The voice blared again:

"BRING HIM HERE.

HE'S GOING TO BE A SPECIAL AGENT"

and that's how I found myself following the nurse to God knows where.

At last, I arrived in front of one massive building.

When I say massive, I mean

MASSIVE.

It was buzzling with men and women in ninja suits looking mean and dangerous.

Mind you, everything was just in one premise

Aiden's Pov cont'd

The nurse led me to an office with the inscription in front: MANAGEMENT.

The man behind the desk looked really mean.

He looks like an army officer cause his name tag was COMMANDER SAL FE ROSH.

His name was strange though.

My thoughts were cut short as the man shouted:

HEY KID, I'M TALKING TO YOU.

It was then I knew I was in deep shit.

Then he dropped the bomb:

I'M TRAINING YOU TO BE AN ASSASSIN.

I didn't know what being an assassin meant so I asked,

"who's an assassin"??

AN ASSASIN IS A PERSON WHO KILLS ALL THE BAD GUYS, Commander Rosh answered

(Yeah Commander Rosh. That's what I'll call him. His name's too long)

But that's... the nurse tried saying, but I interjected her saying, "I'll love to be an assassin so I can kill all the bad guys"(don't blame me, I'm only 12).

AND THAT'S IT BOY, TRAINING STARTS TODAY, Commander Rosh said.

Yes Commander, I replied.

FIRST, YOU HAVE TO EAT, FRESHEN UP, TRAINING BEGINS IN TWO HOURS. NURSE, TAKE CARE OF HIM.

I will, the nurse replied.

I was taken to a room, not too furnished, but at least it's okay.

I tried complaining about the room but seeing the nurse's mean face, I quickly comported myself.

I laid down as soon as the nurse left me but I couldn't sleep.

I thought of what happened on my way to the room and goosebumps appeared on my skin.

🤔🤔 FLASHBACK 🤔🤔

As we were walking in the hallway, I caught sight of a group of men shooting at a target board so I asked the nurse,

why are they facing us while shooting??

What if the bullet strays??

(Don't be surprised, am a little smart for a 12 year old kid).

They never miss kiddo, the nurse replied.

As soon as I heard, I asked her, If they are so good at it, why then do they have to practice so hard under the hot sun??

That's the rule.

It can't be bent.

Practice & training is compulsory no matter how strong you are.

Very soon, you'll understand, the nurse replied.

Yeah I love catching bad guys.

I thought only the police have guns.

Are you guys the police?? I asked the nurse??

(I'm a little surprised the nurse answers all my questions. Shhhhhh don't tell her)

No.

We are a special organization that is run by one man, the commander you just saw now.

He's a ruthless person so you don't want to annoy him, the nurse replied.

I wanted to ask what the special organization is all about but I just decided to shut my mouth before she shoots me dead.

Next thing I heard was a gunshot.

Following what I've seen in the movies, I quickly bent down and that was it, the bullet.........

Aiden's Pov cont'd

The bullet grazed through my head to the wall beside me. The nurse was like: How'd you do that?? And my answer was: I instinctively ducked.

Even though it was a mistake, I'm a boy who loves taking credit for both things I do and things I didn't do

I just couldn't get the thought out of my mind. I was still thinking about it but before I knew it, I slept off

2 hours later

Nurse's pov

Aiden get up, training begins now, I said. Noooooooooooooooooo nurse meanie I haven't slept enough.

(Yeah nurse meanie. That's what this boy called Aiden calls me)

Shut up boy and quickly stand up. I've got no time for your silly games I replied.

The boy's a pain in the neck although he's cute, smart and strong. He was able to dodge a bullet which I couldn't do even after 3 years of training and he's 12 years old.

Even an adult would fall asleep after taking the injections I gave him but to my surprise, nothing happened to him. He must really be special.

Although I don't get why boss trains assasins but who am I to talk?? I don't want to be shot straight in the head. Thank God I'm training him with boss, I'll get to see how much stronger he can get.

He really must be precious to boss. Boss has never volunteered to train anyone except one man who everybody talks about as the legend of all assasins. Nobody has seen him. Well except boss and he's known to be ruthless. Well let's forget about him.

Nurse meanie!! I heard him scream. I'm scared, I'm scared, he continued. I just had a nightmare of a man and a woman with a little girl, their faces were blurry and they were calling out to me.

It's just a nightmare, I said. Oh no boss will kill me if this boy regains his memories. I'll give you an injection to make you feel better, I told him.

I gave him 5 doses of metamentary solution. It helps to prevent someone from having dreams or thinking about any other thing apart from what he's told immediately he gets up.

I was supposed to give him only 2 doses, but due to him being a strong boy, I decided to give him 5. Immediately I gave him the injection, he slept off like a pregnant pig.

After 30 minutes, he woke up and then I told him: My name is Nurse Dorathy, you are here to train to be an assassin. Do you understand??

Yes, nurse Dorathy, he replied

Good, training begins in 10 minutes, I said harshly trying not to sound emotional. Yeah emotional. Seeing him reminded me of when I came here newly.

I passed through many hardships as an assassin. Even went to jail once. Due to Commander's influence on the society, I was released.

And then I passed through another problem: Gaining commander's trust. It took me 2 years to finally earn his trust and that was when I killed his biggest rival.

After gaining his favor, he stopped me from being an assassin and sent me to a nursing school so that when assasins are injured, they don't need to visit the hospital, I'll just treat them.

Hmph. I really want to help the poor boy but that will mean risking my life so I can't attempt it. Even if he escspes, commander will find him and kill the both of us.

Let me go and check the other children.

Aiden's Pov

I surely did not want to lose the memories of the three people I saw in my dream so during the time the nurse was preparing the injection for me, I siezed the time to write down everything about me I remember and a little sketch of how the people in my dream look like.

How I managed to know the injection was to erase my memories, I don't know.

Not to mention, I'm a guru at drawing. Just one glance at you, and I'll draw you completely.

(Mind you, the nurse went out to get the injection in case you're wondering how I was able to do all these things with the nurse inside the room)

After I woke up, I heard somebody say: My name is Nurse Dorathy and you are here to be trained into a special assasin. I didn't know what to reply so I just said: Yes nurse Dorathy. She also told me of training starting in ten minutes.

After she went out, I saw a book and out of curiosity, I opened it. Immediately I opened it, the door opened and.......... .
