It was a stormy Sunday night, and the sound of rain tapping against the window filled Y/n’s dimly lit room. The clock struck 10 PM just as she stretched her arms with a satisfied sigh, finally finishing her homework.
To reward herself, she grabbed a bowl of popcorn, plopped onto her bed, and opened her laptop. "Attack on Titan" was her go-to comfort anime—though she'd watched it countless times, she never got tired of it.
Especially not when it meant seeing Levi Ackerman.
Lying on her stomach, she pressed play, eyes glued to the screen as the Captain of the Survey Corps appeared.

"Haaa... This is the best way to relax after all that studying," *she mumbled, popping another piece of popcorn into her mouth.*

That was her last thought before she drifted off to sleep.
A loud clap of thunder rumbled through the sky, jolting Y/n awake.

*Her eyes fluttered open, but something felt... off.*
Gone was the warmth of her bed. Gone was the dim glow of her laptop. Instead, she was lying on the damp forest ground, surrounded by towering trees swaying violently in the wind.
Y/n’s heart pounded as she sat up, eyes darting around the unfamiliar surroundings. The thick forest, the eerie silence, the cold breeze against her skin—it all felt too real.

"W-where am I...?" *she mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper.*
She scrambled to her feet, her bare arms trembling slightly from the night’s chill. The ground was damp from the rain, and the scent of wet earth filled her nose.

(‘This place... it feels familiar... but how?’)
She started pacing back and forth, trying to process what was happening. The last thing she remembered was watching Attack on Titan in her room—then darkness, and now… this.
A terrifying thought struck her.
She hesitantly turned her gaze to the towering trees, the vastness of the forest, the sense of danger lingering in the air.
Then, like pieces of a puzzle clicking into place, realization hit her.

*Her hands flew to her mouth, her eyes wide with shock.*

But her joy was short-lived as another realization dawned upon her.

*Panic surged through her as she frantically looked for a way out. Her hands clenched into fists.*
"No! I refuse to die here! I haven’t even touched Levi’s hand yet!"
Just as she was about to start running aimlessly, something shiny caught her eye.
Slowly, she turned her gaze downward—her hands… they looked different. Smoother. More delicate. Almost like… an anime character’s.

"H-Hold on…" *she muttered, voice trembling as she rushed to a nearby puddle of rainwater.*
Heart pounding, she hesitantly leaned over to see her reflection—and immediately gasped.
Gone was her real-world appearance. Her face was softer, her eyes larger and more expressive, her hair silky and impossibly perfect. Even her skin looked airbrushed—flawless, like she had just walked straight out of an anime episode.

*She lifted a trembling hand to her cheek.*
"I… I look like an anime character now?!"
A grin spread across her lips as the realization settled in.

"OH MY GOD, THIS IS EVEN BETTER THAN I THOUGHT!"
If she was going to live in Attack on Titan, at least she got the full anime experience—including a glow-up.

"Yes, that's right! First, survive, I don't want to die just yet. I haven’t even touched Levi’s hand yet!"
Just as she was about to start running aimlessly, the sound of hooves galloping caught her attention.
She turned her head sharply and spotted a lone figure riding a horse in the distance. He wore a dark green cloak, the Survey Corps’ emblem visible on the fabric. A napkin-like cloth covered the lower half of his face, but his dark undercut, piercing steel-blue eyes, and the aura of authority made him instantly recognizable.

"No way…"
*Her breath hitched.*
('That’s… That’s Levi Ackerman!!')

*Without thinking, she waved her arms wildly and shouted at the top of her lungs.*
"HELP!!! HEY, OVER HERE!!"
The rider slowed his horse, his sharp gaze narrowing at her as if assessing whether she was a threat or just an idiot who wandered into danger.
Levi Ackerman
('Who the hell is this brat? Wandering around in this place?')
Despite his hesitation, he eventually rode up to her, stopping just a few feet away.

*Her breath hitched as he pulled down the cloth covering his mouth, revealing his face fully.*
('Levi Ackerman.')
Up close, he was even more breathtaking than she imagined—his flawless skin, the sharpness of his jawline, the intensity in his gaze.

*But instead of admiring him in silence, her brain short-circuited and blurted out the worst possible thing.*
"SHORT."
The moment the word left her lips, she froze in horror.
Levi Ackerman
*Levi’s eyebrow twitched.*
('Did this brat just call me SHORT?!')

*His jaw tightened as he glared at her, his patience clearly thinning.*
"Oi."

*Y/n immediately snapped back to reality, eyes darting anywhere but at him.*

"Y-yes?" *she stammered, pretending nothing happened.*

*Levi crossed his arms, his sharp gaze locked onto her.*
"What the hell are you doing in this dangerous place?"
She was too distracted by his handsomeness to process his words.

('Why is she staring at me like that? Is there something on my face?')
Levi waited for her answer
Instead of answering, she simply stared at him, her cheeks burning red as her mind spiraled into delusions.

('OMG. I’m going to marry him someday and restore the Ackerman bloodline!')

*Confused.*
('Why is she blushing now? Is she thinking about something?')

*A devilish chuckle slipped from her lips.*
"He. He. He."
Levi Ackerman
Levi’s expression turned from suspicious to straight-up annoyed.
('Is this brat abnormal? Why is she chuckling like that?')
Levi Ackerman
"You’re testing my patience, brat."* His voice carried a dangerous edge.* ('God, this brat is annoying!')
*Pinched the bridge of his nose.*
Y/n immediately straightened, realizing she needed to come up with a believable excuse.

('Oh god, I won't let him know I'm not from this world, they might suspect me as a Titan shifter.')

She forced tears into her eyes, sniffling dramatically.
"I... I was with my family, but then... then the Titans attacked! My parents... they didn't make it! I ran away and got lost... I... I have nowhere else to go!"
She looked down, clutching her chest, pretending to be a poor, helpless girl.
Levi frowned, observing her carefully. Though he still looked suspicious, he let out a sigh.
Levi Ackerman
"Tch. Fine." *He turned back to his horse.* "I’ll take you somewhere safe."
Y/n had to bite her lip to stop herself from squealing in victory.
Levi Ackerman
*Levi mounted his horse and looked at her expectantly.*
"Get on. I don’t have time to wait."
Y/n Kizuna
*She hesitated for a moment, staring at the majestic beast before her.*
('Wait… I’ve never ridden a horse before.')
Levi Ackerman
*Sensing her hesitation, Levi rolled his eyes.*
"Tch. Do you need an invitation?"
Y/n scrambled onto the horse, gripping his waist without thinking.

*The moment she realized what she had done, she froze.*
('OH MY GOD. I’M HUGGING LEVI ACKERMAN!')

*Trying not to internally combust, she let out a small, nervous giggle.*
"You're lucky you're handsome..." *she mumbled under her breath.*
Levi heard her.
His eye twitched, but he said nothing, merely clicking his tongue before steering the horse forward.

After a while, they finally arrived at Trost District. Levi brought the horse to a halt and glared at her.
Levi Ackerman
"We’re here. Get off."
Y/n reluctantly slid off the horse, staring at him like a kicked puppy.
Y/n Kizuna
"Are you leaving me already?" she asked, voice laced with fake sorrow.
Levi Ackerman
*Levi rolled his eyes.*
('This brat is so demanding! I already brought her in a safe place, I still have something to do.')
"What else? I’m not adopting you, brat."
Y/n Kizuna
*Y/n pouted dramatically.*
"But… I don’t have any money!"
Levi Ackerman
*Levi deadpanned.*
"Not my problem."
With that, he turned his horse around and started leaving.

*Y/n stood there, jaw dropped.*
"Ughh! I’m starting to hate him!" *she grumbled.* "How could he leave me here?!"

*She sighed, looking around the unfamiliar city.*
('I need to find a place to stay… but I have no money!')

*With no choice, she squared her shoulders.*
"Fine. If Levi won’t take care of me…" *she muttered under her breath.*
"Then I’ll just have to make him fall in love with me." ('I know everything about him and about this world anyway.')

After what felt like an eternity, they finally arrived at Trost District. Levi pulled the reins, bringing his horse to a halt, and shot Y/n a deadpan look.
Levi Ackerman
"We’re here. Get off."
Y/n hesitated before reluctantly sliding off the horse, gazing up at him like a lost puppy.
Y/n Kizuna
"Are you leaving me already?" *She asked, her voice laced with fake sorrow.*
Levi Ackerman
*Levi rolled his eyes.*
"What else? I’m not adopting you, brat."
Y/n puffed her cheeks in frustration.
Y/n Kizuna
"But… I don’t have any money!"
Levi gave her a blank stare.
Levi Ackerman
"Not my problem."
And with that, he turned his horse around and rode off without looking back.

"Ughh! I’m starting to hate him!" She grumbled, stomping her foot. "How could he just leave me here like this?!"

*She let out a deep sigh, glancing around at the unfamiliar city.*
(I need to find a place to stay… but I have no money!)

*Her stomach growled, making her groan.*
"Great. No food, no shelter, and no Levi. What am I supposed to do now?"
Then, she squared her shoulders, determination flashing in her eyes.

"Fine. If Levi won’t take care of me…" She muttered under her breath, clenching her fists.

"Then I’ll just have to make him fall in love with me."
The sun had long since set, and the cold night air bit at her skin. She wandered aimlessly through the streets, hunger gnawing at her stomach.

*Leaning against the wall of a house, she hugged herself, feeling utterly defeated.*
(How am I supposed to survive? If I had known I was going to get transmigrated into this world, I would've brought gold to exchange for money!)
Just then, three teenagers walking nearby noticed her—Eren Yeager, Armin Arlert, and Mikasa Ackerman.

"Look at that girl… she looks pitiful." *He whispered, glancing at Eren and Mikasa.*
Mikasa Ackerman
"Shh, Armin!" *She hushed him, narrowing her eyes.* "She might hear us."
Eren, however, looked concerned.

"I’ve never seen her before. Do you think she lost her family in the last Titan attack?"

"I think we should help her"
Mikasa and Armin exchanged uncertain glances.
Armin Arlert
"B-but we don’t know her! What if she’s dangerous?"
Mikasa Ackerman
"Armin’s right… It’s none of our business—"
Before Mikasa could finish, Eren had already started walking towards Y/n.
Mikasa & Armin: "Eren, wait!" They called out, rushing after him.
Y/n Kizuna
*Hearing footsteps, Y/n looked up and recognized them immediately.*
(Isn't that Eren, Mikasa, and Armin? Maybe they can help me! I can't believe I would be able to meet them too!)

*She straightened up and called out excitedly.*
"Hey! Eren! Armin! Mikasa!"
The three of them froze in shock.
Eren Yeager
"How do you know our names?!" *He asked, eyes widening.*
Armin and Mikasa mirrored his reaction, staring at her suspiciously.

*Realizing her mistake, Y/n internally panicked.*

*She quickly forced a nervous laugh.*
"O-oh! I overheard someone talking about you guys!" *She lied, forcing a smile.*
('I can't let them know that I'm from another world.')
The trio still seemed skeptical, but they let it slide.
Eren Yeager
*Eren took a step closer, his concern evident.*
"What are you doing out here alone? And… what’s your name?"
Eren Yeager
*He then gestured towards his friends.*
"I know you already know our names because you said you heard it from someone, but let’s introduce ourselves properly.
Eren Yeager
"I’m Eren Yeager!" *He pointed at Mikasa.* "That’s Mikasa Ackerman!" *Then at Armin.* "And that’s Armin Arlert!"
Mikasa and Armin nodded their head and smiled at her even though they don't fully trust her yet.
Y/n Kizuna
*Y/n smiled softly and nodded.*
"Nice to meet you guys. I’m Y/n."
Eren Yeager
"So, why are you here alone? Don't you have a family? Or shelter? It's dangerous staying here alone"
Y/n Kizuna
*Then, she put on her best "sad orphan" face, her eyes welling up with tears.*
"I... I was with my family when the Titans attacked… My parents… they didn’t make it."
Y/n Kizuna
*She looked away, her voice trembling.* "They saved me and told me to run away, even though I'm reluctant, I ran away and got lost. Now, I have nowhere to go…"
The three of them gasped.
Eren clenched his fists, remembering his mother’s death.
Eren Yeager
"I know how you feel…" *He said, voice thick with emotion.*
Armin Arlert
"Don’t worry! We can help you!"
Mikasa Ackerman
*Mikasa nodded.*
"We could ask Hannes for help."
Y/n Kizuna
('I finally got their trust a little bit!')

*Hearing the name, Y/n perked up.*
(Hannes! That’s perfect! I might actually survive!)

*Tears formed in her eyes as she sniffled dramatically.*
"Thank you, guys! You’re my only hope! I’ll pay you back someday!"

"You don’t have to!"

"We can be your family and friends now!"
Mikasa and Armin, though still a little wary, nodded in agreement.
With that, they led Y/n toward their temporary home.
At Hannes’ House…
The house was modest but cozy, with four small bedrooms on one side and a kitchen with a dining hall on the other. The center of the house was a spacious living area.
As they stepped inside, Hannes came rushing towards them.

"You guys are back—" *His eyes landed on Y/n, and his expression hardened.* "Who is she?"
Eren Yeager
*Eren grinned.*
"She’s Y/n!"
Y/n Kizuna
*Y/n clasped her hands together, putting on her best innocent look.*
(I need to act pitiful! If I can stay here for a while, I can figure out my next move!)

*She looked up at Hannes with pleading eyes.*
"Sir, I don’t have anywhere else to go… Could I stay here just for a while?"
Hannes
*Hannes sighed heavily, crossing his arms.*
"I can’t just let a stranger stay in my house!"
Y/n Kizuna
*Y/n lowered her head, her hope slipping away.*
(It’s over…!)
Eren Yeager
*Eren, however, wasn’t ready to give up.*
"Please, Hannes! Just let her stay! She has no one else!"

*Hannes exhaled loudly, rubbing his forehead.*
"Fine. But just for now."
Y/n beamed as the others sighed in relief.
Lying on the bed in her borrowed room, Y/n hugged a pillow, kicking her feet excitedly.

("AHHH! Levi is so handsome! I can’t believe I actually hugged him today! And rode a horse with him!")
Just then, a knock came at the door, making her jolt upright.
Eren Yeager
*Eren peeked inside.*
"Are you still awake?"
Y/n Kizuna
*Y/n, still flustered from her thoughts, turned bright red.*
"Y-yeah!"
Eren Yeager
*Eren squinted.*
"Why are you blushing…?"
Y/n Kizuna
*Y/n panicked.*
(Crap! I can’t tell him I was fangirling over Levi!)
Y/n Kizuna
"N-nothing! Anyway, I heard you guys are joining the Scouts tomorrow?"
Eren Yeager
*Eren grinned.*
"Yeah! Me, Armin, and Mikasa are signing up first thing in the morning!"

*Y/n smirked to herself.*

"I’m joining too!"
