Her voice trembled, followed by a thick silence. No response. She stepped forward, her breath coming faster now.
Another scream—closer this time. She could almost feel it vibrating through her bones

Ravena spun around—there was no one. The air seemed to have shifted. Something was moving along the shadows, just out of sight.

A thud—followed by a treacherous growl. Louder this time.
Panic surged through her as she turned and bolted. Her heavy feet fought against the earth, her breath ragged, her heart pounding in her ears.

Oh my god it's behind me , right behind me I need to get away
Her foot caught on a root.
She barely had time to react before she was sent sprawling to the ground. Pain shot through her limbs as her knees slammed into the dirt.
She gasped, trying to push herself up—
But she never got the chance.
It was on her.

A beast-like figure was looming over her, its clawed hand swiped across her face scratching her cheek, its breath hot and foul, sharp teeth barred, yellow eyes gleaming with hunger
She has never seen such a thing in her life, her body went cold as she took in the appearance of a fiend glaring at her, his drool ran through her arm

(thinking) his eyes, they are glowing, what in the world is this thing, I need to get away
As she moves further the animalistic growl surges through her ear, her body shivered as the monster above her pulls her body, sharp nails digging in her skin, red eyes staring at her with carnal rage

(Whispering ) someone please help me

I don't want to die , not like this
this was it. She was about to die , everything will be over now her life her existence, her pulse slowed, world tilting into darkness

This is my end , die here- alone -
The wind howled. She barely registered a sound, everything went silent, something unnatural moving through the trees, she strangely felt calm and unrecognisable feeling fluttered in her chest
Then, the beast was gone
Everything was still. Too still

Ravena tried to breathe, but her chest felt tight, too tight. Something- someone was holding her, lifting her up

the white room
Everything was black like midnight, hushed whispers falling on her ears, a cold sensation ran through her body making her shiver, her throat felt dry and sore , pain in the back of her head threatens to grow into a migraine, she tried to open her eyes but they felt heavy like stones
the last thing she remembered was the feral beast growling at her with crimson eyes, ravena's eyes fluttered open horror settling in her bones, ceilings above her were unfamiliar, long, aged, and dark , she shifted wincing in pain , her limbs throbbed, the bed beneath her was soft and rich , she took in the surroundings a dim light from candles , a large room with long pillars, a chandelier hanging above her , the room looked calm, she looked around white sheets rustling with her, she was mismirized by the beautiful room

Suddenly all memories rushed to her, she remembered how she ended up in this unfamiliar room , she hastily looked around , she tried to remember who was the man that took her here as she was about to move door creaked
