*barges in, chucking a loaf of bread on the floor* that’s your food for today. Don’t forget dad is coming over today and wants you to entertain him.
In-Su
*scared* A-again? But-

Shut it. Why do you think we had you in the first place? *she scowl, slamming the door*
In-Su
<why do they treat me like this….. they are my parents!> *a tear falls down his cheek*
In-Su
*he scurries to the bread left on the floor, taking a small bite off the end*
Chan-Woo
*barges in* Hey- kid. Get over here. I’m in a bad mood
In-Su
*flinches* d- dad can - can we not do this today?
Chan-Woo
HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME! *he storms over*
Chan-Woo grabs In-Su by the neck, slamming him onto the floor
He starts punching In-Su round the face, and kicking him in the stomach

Haa… this always makes me feel so much better
Chan-Woo
Im done. I’ve got another busy day tomorrow so I’ll be back
He leaves In-Su lying on the floor covered in bruises
In-Su

U- uh… she isn’t here today… if you would give us the money for her in advance she -

I will not give you any money until you bring me your daughter. I cannot marry someone without seeing her face

That’s hard to believe. I shall punish her myself. Show me to her.
Iseul jumps up, trying to guide Seong-Min to the door

Well this sounds like a lie. Is it your daughter down there?
Chan-Woo
… Sir… it is… our daughter is downstairs she has fallen ill and the maid was uh… talking care of her that’s all
