A little girl, named Faye, was sitting on her grandmother's lap eating Carambola happily.
The beautiful old lady looked down at her granddaughter with adoration, she caressed the little girl's hair, asking "Faye loves carambola?" The little girl nodded smiling "Faye lovesss it" She said, opening her arms trying to show how much she loves it. The grandmother pinched her small cheeks as she looked at her with love "My Faye is the best girl!" She said with fondness but the little girl pouted cutely and asked "Grandma, what is the meaning of my name?" Her grandma's smile widened hearing her question "Well, I actually wanted to name you Fairy, but your parents didn't agree, so I named you Faye, short and sweet, isn't it?" The little girl smiled and nodded "Yes, it's pretty!"
Faye thought something and asked "Grandma, do fairies actually exists?" Her grandma chuckled but decided not to say the truth as she didn't want to upset her beloved grandchild "Yes honey, fairies do exists" Faye's eyes widened in delight "Really? They do exists? Where do they live? I wanna see them!" Her grandma pressed her lips together and quickly come up with an excuse "Hmm, you can see them one day, when you grow up, okay?" Faye, being the innocent little kid asked "Really? Promise?" Her grandma ruffled her hairs and said, "Promise".

Time Line : 1661
The battlefield was ablaze, cannons thundering, and swords clashing. The kingdom's army, led by King Kim Yujun, fought valiantly against the invading forces. Amidst the chaos, the king swiftly guided his 10-year-old son, Prince Kim Taehyung, through the winding castle corridors. The prince's eyes were wide with fear as he clutched his father's hand.
As they navigated the dark passageways, the sounds of war grew louder. The king pushed aside a tapestry, revealing a hidden alcove. He gently ushered the prince inside, his voice barely above a whisper. "Stay here, Taehyung. Do not make a sound. I will return for you soon." The prince nodded, his face pale, as the king disappeared into the fray, leaving him alone in the darkness.
King Yujun charged forward, his sword slicing through the enemy ranks. His army rallied behind him, and together they fought with renewed strength. The tide of the battle began to turn in their favor, and the enemy lines wavered.
With a final, mighty blow, the king struck down the enemy commander, shattering their morale. The invading forces faltered, and the kingdom's army surged forward, reclaiming their land. Victory was theirs, but at a great cost.
As the king stood tall, his sword still trembling with the force of his final blow, he felt his strength fading. A grievous wound, hidden beneath his armor, had been bleeding profusely throughout the battle. With a weary smile, he gazed out upon his saved kingdom, knowing he had given his life to protect it.
The king's vision began to blur, and he felt himself falling. His soldiers rushed to his side, catching him before he hit the ground. As they laid him down, the king's eyes sought out the castle, where his son, Prince Taehyung, waited. He knew the prince would grow up to be a great king, and that thought brought him peace.
With a final breath, King Yujun closed his eyes, his heart proud of the victory they had won, and the future that awaited his son.
End of timeline.
A warm sun shines brightly, cold breeze rustles through the leaves, carrying the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the distant chirping of birds, creating a refreshing summer afternoon. Two girls were walking side by side licking their icecream, as they make their way towards one of the city's library.
"What kinda books you gonna get?" One of the girls, named Luna asked Faye, while licking her icecream.
"What else? The usual. Romance, soft or dark whatever, fantasy, thriller blah blah." Faye, finishing her icecream, throws away the icecream stick. "What 'bout you?"
"Same!" Luna stuffs the remaining icecream in her mouth, then throws away the stick.
Soon they reach the library and starts browsing through the book shelves. They soon get all the books they came here for.
"Girl, you done?" Luna asked Faye as she was about to make her way towards the counter to borrow her books.
"Yeah bitch, I'm almost done, you go I'm coming."
Luna nodded and went to the counter to complete her process of borrowing.
Faye, after taking one last look through the book shelf, was about to go when her eyes fell on a book laying on the floor between two book shelves. She went towards the book and crouched down to pick it up.
She picks it up and takes a look at it. The book's cover was brown and appeared to be old. On the front cover, it had a green gem in the middle and it's name read "The Lost Dominion".
Faye frowns her brows and tilt her head to a side. "Bitch wtf? How come I never heard about this book before?" Faye opens the book to see the author's name, but to her surprise, there was none. "What kind of book doesn't have the author's name? What is this book even about?" Mumbling to herself, Faye stood up and decided to borrow this book along with the others.
After completing the process of borrowing she walks out of the library with Luna and they start walking home.
"I'm sooo happy! I finally got the 2nd book of the "Secret love" series!" Luna exclaimed looking at Faye who seemed to be in her own world. "Girl, you listening?" Luna asked, poking Faye's arm making her snap out of her thoughts.
"Yeah hoe, I'm listening! Anyways, you know today I found a mysterious book, if that's what we'll call it."
"A mysterious book? Sounds dramatic." Luna chuckled "What's the name?"
" Well, what was it?...Um....oh yeah! The Lost Dominion!"
"What? I've never heard about a book with such name!?" Luna said frowning her brows.
"Me neither! Maybe it's a new release we don't know about? Though it appears to be old, lol." Faye said, taking a peek at the book inside her paper bag, kept between the other books she burrowed.
Luna nodded shrugging.

In the evening, Faye set on her bed with the book to finally read it. She had snacks and coffee prepared, with the door of her room locked, not wanting to be disturbed at all. Taking a sip of her coffee Faye opens the book and starts reading.
***
The throne room's opulent grandeur was eclipsed only by the ominous aura surrounding the king. Majestic pillars, adorned with gold leaf and precious gems, supported a vaulted ceiling, while the floor's polished black marble seemed to absorb the flickering torchlight. Upon the throne, crafted from a single, massive ebony slab, the king sat, shrouded in shadows, his piercing eyes gleaming like dark stars. An aura of foreboding power emanated from him, as if the very darkness itself had coalesced into a living, breathing entity, commanding reverence and inspiring dread.
Before the throne, a sea of courtiers, advisors, and guards stood in rigid attention, their finery and armor a testament to their stations. To the king's right, the chancellor and high priestess conferred in hushed tones, their faces etched with concern. Behind them, rows of nobles and knights stood, their eyes fixed on the monarch, while at the room's edges, silent sentinels in black armor watched with unyielding vigilance, their hands resting on the hilts of their swords.
Two men, appearing to be soldiers stood in front of the king while holding a man, who is made to kneel down with his head hung low in fear.
"Your Majesty, this is the man who dared to go past the devine gate."
One of the soldiers spoke, informing the king about the transgression committed by the man.
"Your Majesty, he also lost the important book in the human realm."
The king's gaze darkened, the throne room immediately gets filled with angry murmures and whispers.
"Your Majesty, this is unforgivable! He has committed the greatest transgression of all time! It's a sin!" One of the priest spoke with anger, to which everyone agreed.
There was a tense silence, everyone waiting for the king to punish the man accordingly.
A transgression so great, it cannot be overlooked. First time in the history of this realm someone committed a crime like this.
Finally, making the decision, the king commanded in his rich deep voice. His right decision completely satisfied the furious people.
"Execute him"
The pitter-patter of rain could be heard clearly. The whether outside was chilly, with cold breeze blowing and the rain pouring.
Running her hand through her hairs, with her glasses resting on her nose bridge, Faye was reading "The Lost Dominion". Her coffee and snacks long finsihed.
For centuries, humans and fairies had lived in harmony, their worlds intertwined like the threads of a rich tapestry. Fairies had shared their wisdom and magic with humans, teaching them the secrets of the earth, the rhythms of the seasons, and the language of the trees. In return, humans had offered their own unique gifts: their capacity for creativity, their passion for storytelling, and their innate curiosity. Together, humans and fairies had explored the mysteries of the universe, their collaboration yielding remarkable discoveries and innovations. Fairy healers had tended to human ailments, while human artisans had crafted beautiful works of art inspired by fairy magic.
In the millennia preceding 1000 BC, fairies and humans coexisted in a delicate balance of power. Fairies, with their deep connection to nature, maintained the harmony of the environment, while humans developed their civilizations, harnessing the power of technology.
However-
Faye's reading was cut off by a knock on her door. Fixing her glasses she yelled "Come in"
The door opened and her younger sister of 10 years old walked in.
"Mom and dad are fighting again."
Faye couldn't resist the urge to roll her eyes, she wasn't even shock cause this is was an everyday occurence. Though it would be a lie to say that the daily routine of her parents fighting didn't bother her, mentally.
"So? What do you want me to about it, Yara?"
Now, Faye didn't mean to sound so rude to the younger one, but she couldn't help it. There really isn't anything she can do, even if she tries to interfere and stop the argument, she'll only end up getting yelled at by her father, as usual.
Been facing these issues ever since she can remember, Faye have grown immune to the constant heated arguments now. If it was the old time, she would've started crying by now.
A loving family, peaceful environment at home, a non-toxic man who is good to his wife, sounded fictional to her.
The quite the short tempered little one retorts with a scowl. "Ofcourse go and intervene! Shouldn't you stop them?"
"Why should I? They aren't kids. They know what they're doing. It'll be better if you mind your own buisness. Go and watch TV or whatever you'd like to do, don't disturb me." Faye responses in a sharp tone, brooking no room for argument, making the younger one walk out of her room while gritting her teeth.
With a heavy sigh, Faye closes the book and keep it on her bedside table. Clearly not in the mood to continue reading. She lays down and stare at the ceiling.
She knows it's not easy for Yara to put up with the constant fights, the fear, the worry, the anxiety, everything that Yara must be feeling, Faye knew it all too well. After all, she's been in Yara's shoes before.
As the argument dies down, Faye lazily gets up and shuts the door of her room which Yara didn't close while walking out. As she made her way back to bed, her phone flashes with a notification. Faye perks up seeing the sender is Luna.
Luna and Faye have been bestfriends since grade school. Through thick and thin they have always sticked together. There was nothing they didn't know about eachother. From trying to count the stars as silly kids to crying over crushes as teenagers, they've been through it all together.
Opening the chat Faye reads the message.
Luna
Did you buy a new dress for Sana birthday party?
Faye
No I didn't. Why didn't you remind me when we were out borrowing the books?
Luna
Bitch I forgot it myself! Anyways, wanna go shopping now?
Faye
Asking me as if you don't know my parents won't allow at this hour.
Luna
Ahh forgot this shit too!
Cool! How about I buy something for you? And don't say no, the party's literally tomorrow.
Faye
I can buy it tomorrow morning though!?
Luna
I thought your parents don't allow to go out on Sundays?
Faye
Ah yeah right. Fine, go ahed and buy me a beautiful dress.
Luna
Yeah rest assured. Byeee.
Faye
Byee.
Faye puts her phone down with a smile, she trusted Luna's taste when it came to fashion, can't say the same for food though. The sweet girl Luna like pineapple pizza, something Faye would never have even if she was being offered million dollars!.......or maybe she will.
Again getting her lazy ass up from the bed, Faye makes her way to her study table and starts doing her homework with a grimace.

A man in a knight's attire with two big and beautiful closed wings on his back, walks down the grand hallway leading to the king's chamber. His presence commanding respect. With each long strides he reaches the king's chamber soon. The grand door with gold handles, was opened by the guards after announcing the royal knight's arrival. The kight walked in and bowed down 90° to the king who was standing in front of the huge windows with his back facing the kight.
"You called for me your majesty?"
Asked the royal knight, his tone laced with respect.
The king didn't bother to turn around and commands in his deep cold voice, enough to send shiver down anybody's spain. "Go to that witch who lives in the forest, ask her to find the location of the scared history book, no matter wherever it is in the human realm. I want the report as soon as possible."
"Your wish is my command, your majesty."
On king's command the kight doesn't wast a second and walks out of the chamber with determination.
The knight takes 5 soldiers with him. They all open their huge wings and take off towards the forest where the witch lives.
The witch have always helped them with solving mysteries by looking at her crystal ball. Quite a kind witch we can say.
Upon reaching the witch's cave, the group lands on the ground and make their way inside, following the kight.
The cave was dark, mysterious, and eerie, lit only by flickering candles and glowing potions. The air was thick with the scent of bubbling brews and burning incense. Strange artifacts and magical objects cluttered the shelves, casting ominous shadows on the walls.
A large cauldron bubbled and steamed in the center of the cave, surrounded by ancient tomes and mysterious scrolls. Cobwebs clung to the ceiling, and the sound of dripping water echoed through the cavern.
In the corner, a broomstick leaned against the wall, waiting for its mistress to take flight. The atmosphere was foreboding, as if magic and mayhem lurked around every corner.
The witch stood tall, her long black cloak billowing around her like a dark cloud, with a pointed hat casting a shadow over her face, but her glowing green eyes sparkled with malevolence, illuminating the dark recesses of the cave.
The witch's green eyes lands on the royal knight as she lets out a dry chuckle, knowing full well why the young man is paying her a sudden visit.
"Well well, who do we have here, if it isn't the royal knight Jeon Jungkook?"
