Everything was a mess.

19 December 1980,

War has started due to the invasion of unknown species, they were an unknown living things that we have never discovered before. We called them 'The Invader'

This is where humanity began to fall on the ground... but there was a girl who never give up on protecting us.

19 December 2023,

I had a dream about our memories of us living together with no disturbance, just a peace. That was what we wished for. All of that was just an impossible dream to achieve in the present.

I visited her grave today.

What did everything go wrong? As i questioned myself with all possible solutions i could have done in the past, nothing can change now. I was just a fool back then, i couldn't protect her. Even after years passed i resent my old self.

The next day, i went for my therapy session due to my traumatic past of contributing to wars and losing her infront of my eyes. I have not been able to conceive myself to have a better peaceful mind, all i could think was her.

"So.. could you finally tell me all the stories of how you met her? "

I paused upon myself on how abrupt that question was. Her? She was all i would've dedicated my life on. Never did i imagine a world without her... and this happened.

"What happened?", as the therapist asked for further questions to me to be able to understand my feelings better.

She sacrificed herself to stop the wars between the so-called invaders and us humans. We were both soldiers in field to fight for our humanity as the invader was trying to take over our world, the Earth.

Her power was... special. She had the ability of mind controlling any species and magic for sword fight. But the problem was the mind controlling ability that can cause a risk of getting her lifespan lower. No matter what was the risk, she decided to help the world by using all her powers on the invaders which led her to her last breath.

The therapist took a pity on me. Nothing was left on me, i was an orphan so my whole life was to the point of taking my life away.

"Do you think you want to go back to the past and avoid her death?". Of course, i really do. I want to meet her again and give her all the love she deserves.

"Well, you called it."

Huh?

I passed out.

I woke up beside my partner, Violet.

Her pretty eyes mesmerized me as i froze for a moment. I was not aware of what had happened just now.

Wait. Are you really Violet?!

"Silly, what are you talking about? I am ,"

Tears started running on my face, Is this a dream?

I rushed out of the room to check the calendar, it is 10th october 1980.

I stood in a shock.

..Am I.. back in the past..?
