As I close my eyes, I heard someone screaming my name? Why do they sound so familiar, like my mom who already died years ago.. I guess I really am dead that I'm hearing voices.. I couldn't get my revenge on that b*stard, I guess I can be with my mom..

Then I feel being squeezed and shaken by someone.. Aren't I suppose to be dead? Why can I feel someone squeezing me?? Then I try my best to open my eyes to see a familiar face right infront of my face. "Mom?.. "

"Oh my baby, thank god you're alright, what happened?" My mom asked, "Nevermind, call the royal doctor!! My baby has woken up!!"

Where am I? Aren't I supposed to be dead, why am I- ...Isn't this my old room? Ow.. My head is aching, What did happen?

"Zyra! I'm so glad you're alright! What happened? How did you fall in the lake? Doesn't matter I guess, as long as you're fine" The king said.

Wait wait wait, the lake? That happened years ago before everything went wrong-... DID I TRAVEL THROUGH TIME? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? WHAT IN THE WORLD...

My name is Zyra Cyrielle, I travelled through time to the past right before I became a corpse. Judging from the events right now, I think I travelled 6 years from now. My mom died a year after this moment, and around 3-4 years after that, the king, my ex-fiance, proposed to me before I knew he was with his mistress, my ex-best friend. Fate has given me a second chance in life, I better use it to good use and I can actually get my revenge.

First things first, I have to break up with him but I can't do that that easily. He's still the crowned prince right now and I'm only a mere princess from a small kingdom, I'd for sure be killed if I messed with him. I need someone to help me with this, but who?... Who was the person who cried when I died? I swear I've seen him before but I can't place my finger on it, but I must find him!

"Well, if you're really alright, I'm gonna go back to the throne room to focus on my duties, be safe Zyra" said my ex-fiance, Arzhel. He soon left my room, then Amy followed behind him then soon everyone left except my mother, who was still sitting in the bed caressing my hand.

"Baby, you should know how to look out for yourself, and to be honest, you should just break up with that boyfriend of yours, he treats you with so little care, I'm worried for you.. " My mom said with a few tears coming out.

"I trust you baby, but still listen to my advice on this... He doesn't deserve someone like you" My mom replied. With that, she then leaves my room and closes the door.

Now then, I should rest for a bit, it's a bit overwhelming taking it all at once. I should've listened to my mom back then before she died, she was right. That man was really unloving and cruel, I was really lovesick that I ignored all the warnings she said about him, well this time I won't.

A few days have gone by and now, I'm ready to go looking around the kingdom. My number one priority is to find that person who carried me in their arms in my final moments, and I guess who also burned down the palace. Let's try searching the whole palace first then other places.

After hours in the palace, I continued to search the next day in the village and the day after, near the lake and docks. Even after searching for days, I still couldn't find anyone him. Where in the h*ll is he? I can't find him anywhere in the whole kingdom! Well, I'm exhausted of searching, I'm just gonna rest in my room and have a quick nap.

Afterwards, I went to my room and yeah, slept for a few minutes.

"Princess Zyra! The crown prince has requested for your presence in the throne room! He also requested that you will arrive there in 10 minutes and that you put on an outfit that'll give a good impression" said a guard outside my room door, he then left after saying that as I heard marching fading away by the second.

Why is he requesting me to put on a good outfit? Are there guests coming over? Barely anyone comes, well they often do but normally they don't ask for my presence, What is he up to..

Subsequently, I picked a good enough dress and had a few maids help with makeup and hair. Afterwards, I went to the throne room to see a quite a lot of people.

"Hey babe, do you still remember the other kingdom that's just nearby? They came to our kingdom to visit, try chatting to some of them" said Arzhel, while mid-drinking with, i assume the princes in their kingdom.

I soon sit down beside Arzhel and yeah, just sat there minding my own business while he's just chugging down wine at this point.

"Hello Madam, you must Arzhel's girlfriend. Let me introduce myself, the name's Barett Oswald, nice to meet you" said the person across from Arzhel.

Wait, I think I recognize their name before I died, who was he again... Ah right, he got brutally killed in a war. From what I have heard before, he got shot from an arrow while hunting for food at night near the camps by the opposing kingdom, but I dont think that's what it seems to be. Why did the opposing kingdom shoot just him and not the other veterans that are in the camps? More suspicious is that, Why didn't anyone come to help him since it was near the camp? They would've heard him scream when he was shot, Something isn't adding up, the whole death seems fishy now.

"Hello? Miss? Are you alright?" said Barett, waving his hand infront of my face.

"It's kinda a long story but to sum it up, we've been best friends since childhood. Our parents have been close before we were born so after we were, they just kinda made us play together as kids and now, we're still the best of friends.
