Breathless
Hyun/Tae's son
*Crying loudly and gasping for air, his tiny hands clutching at his chest.*
*Having breathing problems.*
Taehyung
*His voice trembles with worry, eyes darting between the road and Hyun in the rearview mirror.*
Just hold on, baby. We’re almost there.
Arriving at the hospital, Taehyung parks quickly and rushes to the back seat to pick up Hyun.
Taehyung
It's okay, Hyun. Mamma is here. I promise you'll be fine. I won’t let anything happen to you.
*He cradles Hyun gently and runs toward the hospital doors.*
As Taehyung rushes inside with Hyun, he notices a boy with an injured leg, supported by a girl, heading toward the hospital. Without slowing down, Taehyung focuses back on his son, hurrying to the emergency room.
Taehyung
*He hurries into the hospital, his voice echoing through the lobby as he shouts.*
DOCTOR! I need help! My son, my son—he can’t breathe!
Receptionist
Sir, please come over here. How can I assist you?
Taehyung
My son… he started having breathing problems this morning. It’s getting worse. Please help me, he needs a doctor now!
Receptionist
Please wait a moment, sir. I'll do my best to assist you.
*She begins typing on her computer*
Receptionist
Can I have his name, please?
The receptionist types quickly on her computer, prints a slip, and hands it to Taehyung, then calls a nurse over.
Receptionist
Nurse Yuna, please guide them to room number 512. The doctor has been informed.
The nurse approaches to Taehyung
Nurse
Don’t worry, sir. I’ll take you to the room. The doctor is ready to see your son.
She starts walking briskly, glancing back occasionally to ensure Taehyung is following.
Nurse Yuna stops at the door and turns to Taehyung.
Nurse
This is the room. Please wait here for a moment. I’ll let the doctor know you’ve arrived. The doctor will call you in shortly.
The nurse goes inside the cabin.

*Coughing faintly*
*Crying*
Taehyung

The door opens, and the nurse steps out.
Taehyung rushes into the doctor's office holding Hyun in his arms.

Please, sit down. What happened?
Taehyung
*frantic* He started having trouble breathing this morning. It’s getting worse, please help him!
Taehyung continues to mention the problems to the doctor.

With a heavy heart, Taehyung stepped outside the room. He ran a hand over his face, trying to hide the tears threatening to fall. His chest felt tight—not just from worry, but from the helplessness of not being able to ease Hyun’s pain.
Meanwhile, in the Corridor....
Jungkook and Lily had just returned from Room 514 after Jungkook’s treatment. They sat on a bench, waiting for the doctor to provide a prescription before heading home.
Lily/Jungkook's best friend
How are you feeling now? Is the pain any better?
Jungkook
Yeah, much better now. The doctor dressed it properly. The pain is almost gone, and I can walk fine. So, stop worrying.

Good. But we’ll wait here until the doctor gives us the prescription. Don’t try to leave early.
Jungkook shrugged, leaning back against the wall. As they waited, his eyes wandered around the corridor—until they landed on someone....
Taehyung walked toward the corridor, his gaze downcast and his steps slow. The weight of his emotions was clearly visible and despite his best efforts, a tear slipped down his cheek.
Jungkook froze, his breath catching in his throat.
Jungkook
💭 Who is he? So beautiful, so cute 💘💘 ... He doesn’t even look real 😳. Like an angel... But why is he crying? Is he sick? Or... omo he is coming here...
His heart raced as he watched Taehyung approach. Jungkook’s gaze remained fixed on him, his mind swirling with questions he couldn’t answer.
Taehyung didn’t notice Jungkook’s stare as he quietly sat down on the bench beside him and Lily. He kept his head low, wiping at his eyes, hoping no one would see his tears.
But Jungkook couldn’t look away. His chest tightened at the sight of Taehyung’s sadness. He wanted to say something—anything—but the words stuck in his throat.
Jungkook
💭 Why does it hurt to see him like this? I don’t even know him, but I feel like... I need to say something.....
Taehyung remained silent, lost in his own thoughts, unaware of the pair of eyes that were still admiring him from just a seat away.
Jungkook couldn’t stop glancing at Taehyung, who sat quietly beside him, wiping away tears. His heart felt heavier with each second. He clenched his fists, debating whether to say something.
