Introduction to Disaster! The Call of Three Chosen Fiancés!
It all begins in the city of Furinkan, a community in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. The city was at its normal pace. People get to and from their jobs, students walking to school for the summer quarter, and a certain martial artist. Change can be good, but sometimes, it's bad. But this story is all about the change of the land.

*Angrily shouting* Ranma, you jerk! *Punches Ranma through the roof*
Ranma Saotome
*Yelling, Grunts as he lands* Yep. She is still un-cute. Today, now, and forever.
Akane Tendō
*Angrily* I HEARD THAT! Hmph! *Leaves to school*
This is Ranma Saotome. The girl who punched him through the roof of the house was none other than Akane Tendo, his fiancé. He lives with his father, Genma, his soon-to-be father-in-law, Soun Tendo, and his sisters-in-law, Nabiki and Kasumi.
Kasumi Tendō
Have a good day at school, you two.
Ranma Saotome
*Gets up* Hey, Akane, wait up! *Chases after her to get to school*
As you can see, their relationship isn't all that great. It's a love-hate relationship between them. They love the fact that they're going to take over the dojo one day, but they hate the fact that they have to get married to do so. But the thing Ranma hates the most is that the fact that when he gets splashed with cold water, he turns into a girl. It's been like this for a long time.
Ranma Saotome
Akane, are you still mad about this morning? I told you that it was an accident and I thought no one was in there.
Akane Tendō
And why should I believe a pervert like you?
Ranma Saotome
Hey, watch it, tomboy.
Akane Tendō
*Angry* Who are you calling a tomboy, you pervert!
Ranma Saotome
*Mocking* Someone who sweeps with a little piggy named Ryoga.
Akane Tendō

Up on the rooftop of a house, Ryoga charges in and tries to fight Ranma on his way to school.
Ryōga Hibiki
*Shouting* Ranma! How dare you insult Akane Tendo! You're a dead man!
Ryōga Hibiki
*Grunting as he swings* Why don't you just fight me, you coward!
Ranma Saotome
*Punches Ryoga* I don't have time for you right now, Ryoga.
Ryōga Hibiki
Shut up! You're not going anywhere until we settle this!
Ranma Saotome
Fine. If you want to fight, then let's go! *Grunts as he gets landed on by Shampoo's bike*

*Happy* Ni Hao, Ranma!

So Ranma, what do you say of taking Shampoo out to date?

Now you're cheating on Akane, you're a despicable man, Ranma. *Running towards him* You're a dead man!

*Walks ahead, angry* Have fun, you two.
Akane walks ahead, ignoring Ranma's plead for head. Ranma keeps freaking out as Shampoo in her cat state freaked him out.
This is the basic routine these two have every day that this happens. Akane doesn't care for what happens if he disappears from her life and if she only relies on herself from now on.
Well, she's about to get her wish. It didn't happen today or the next day, but this is what happens when you say things that can't be taken back. And how all of Japan, its history, and how the land was wiped from the face of the earth, for 300 years.
One afternoon, on a Saturday, everything was calm and peaceful. Ranma decided to go to his childhood friend and fiancé's store for some Okonomiyaki. Ukyo Kuonji runs this restaurant and is always happy for him to be there.
Ukyō Kuonji
Come on in! *Happy* Ranma honey, welcome!
Ranma Saotome
Hey, you got anything with Squid?
Ukyō Kuonji
Coming right up, sugar.
Ukyo begins making Ranma's favorite Okonomiyaki. She begins adding the essential ingredients and the sauce as she grills it.
Ukyō Kuonji
So, I'm taking it that you and Akane are still not speaking to each other?
Ranma Saotome
Yeah. She's still upset about the whole incident. I didn't even get a single word in to explain myself. This is probably why Akane is never going to be honest and that she won't ever get a boyfriend.
Ukyō Kuonji
I agree with you, sweetie. Akane does come off as selfish, arrogant, stubborn...
Ranma Saotome
You're forgetting uncute, unsexy, twice as strong as a gorilla, thighs to sick, flat, and never a good listener.
Ukyō Kuonji
*Giggles* Anyway, Ranma honey, do you have any plans tomorrow?
Ranma Saotome
Unfortunately, yeah. The old man and I are going to go train in the mountains for a bit. Why?
Ukyō Kuonji

*Thinking* Hmm, that would be a good idea, plus Akane wouldn't worry, and I can try to at least think of a way to apologize. But, thanks for the offer, but I think I'll go and brave it out. But, I can stay for three more of your Okonomiyaki.
Ukyō Kuonji
You do that, Sugar. *Gets back to cooking* But, since you're staying here for three hours, I can give you a discount.
Ranma Saotome
You mean I have to pay for the time I'm staying here?
Ukyō Kuonji
You know how it is, Ranma Honey. A single girl staying in the city has got to make a living somehow.

*Serves the Okonomiyaki* Here you are.
Ranma Saotome
Gee, thanks! Time to dig in! *Eats the pancake* Delicious!
Meanwhile, at the Tendo Household...

*Angry* I'm going to bed. *Walks away*
Soun Tendō
*Begging* Please, Akane, you have to make up with Ranma. I'm sure he'll be home any minute and apologize for what he has done.
Akane walks away, not listening to a single word her own father said, and shuts herself in her room. Soun breaks down in despair knowing that her own daughter will be this stubborn to refuse the marriage.
Soun Tendō
*Sad* Akane. Akane. Why must you be stubborn and refuse to express yourself?
Kasumi Tendō
*Concerned* Oh dear, father. You know how Akane is. Maybe it is best that we leave her alone for a while. And Ranma will be home any minute. I better go and lay out his dinner in the kitchen.
Genma Saotome
Ah-ha! *Moves a piece* Check mate, Tendo! I win!
Soun Tendō
*Shocked* Huh?!
Akane Tendō

*Covers herself in her blankets, angrily* I hope I never have to speak to that creep again for as long as I live. *Looks around* But, where's P-chan?
At the Cat Café, Cologne and Shampoo were cleaning up the restaurant as it was closing time. They were also preparing fresh noodles from scratch and veggies to prepare for tomorrow's lunch and dinner rush.
Shampoo
*Chopping carrots* Stupid Akane. Can't she just leave Shampoo and Ranma alone for once to have time to selves?
Cologne
Don't worry, dear, you'll have your chance to be alone with Sonny Boy.
Shampoo
But I feel I can't be alone with Ranma to do one date with him, Great Grandmother. What can Shampoo do?
Cologne
Like I said, you don't need to worry. There will be a time when you two will be together, no matter what happens.

Shampoo goes to the bathroom to go and take her bath. Just as she left, Cologne finishes the last-minute closing. Before she could go and lock up, three strangers in white cloaks, glowing through the night, walked through the door and came into the restaurant.
Isaiah
Do you have anything to give to someone who traveled a long way?
Cologne
I'm sorry, but we're about to close up. May I ask why you're here?
Elijah
We came a long way to eat. All three of us.
Cologne

Elijah and Isaiah look at Queen Aleena to get the approval to reveal themselves and tell them their names.

Cologne looks at the last person with the white hood. As soon as she looked, she gasped in awe. As she got a closer look, she realized that the third person was none other than the Wife of God. She looks up at Cologne and smiles as she does a single nod.

*Reverence* My Lord. My God. My Queen to the Lord of Hosts. *Gets up and goes get Shampoo* Shampoo, get out of the bathroom quickly!
Shampoo
Try these noodles. They're our restaurant's specials.
Elijah
Thank you. But first, let us give grace. *Closes his eyes and prays* Bless us, O God. Bless our food and our drink. And bless these two, O God, for they have pure and humble hearts. For they have shown hospitality, even though it was closing time. Amen.

Shampoo is planning to use all the skills and materials necessary to please future husband's family.
Elijah
Future husband? Is she betrothed?
Cologne
To a young man who refuses the engagement, even though he was promised to another.
Isaiah

His name is Ranma Saotome. The angry girl who gave the roof to the boy and his freeloading father, and the old pervert is Akane Tendo.

Cologne

Just then, Aleena whispered into Elijah's ear. She wants to talk to Shampoo privately.

Shampoo

Shampoo and Aleena both walk outside in the night. This leaves Cologne, Elijah, and Isaiah to sit around and talk. After just ten minutes, Shampoo came back with some wonderful news.
Elijah
Well, it looks like your talk with the Queen of the Lord was happy for you, wasn't it?
Shampoo
Great-grandmother, splash cold water on Shampoo. I have wonderful news!
Cologne
You want me to splash you with cold water? You know what will happen, right?
Shampoo
Shampoo knows. *Giggling*
Cologne
Okay, if you say so. *Gets cold water and splashes Shampoo, amazed* Huh?

This is what the Lord has promised: The earth is polluted because its people disobeyed the laws of God, breaking their agreement that was to last forever.

And so, I am going to twist the earth out of shape and turn it into a desert. Everyone will be scattered, including ordinary people and priests, bosses and employees, buyers and sellers, lenders and borrowers, the rich and the poor. The earth will be stripped bare and left that way.
Isaiah
The people of Japan have been warned, but they have not listened. That is why Japan is going to be under a curse.
Shampoo
Ai ya. Japan is cursed already? Then what does that have to do with Ranma?
Isaiah
Do not worry. Ranma will be safe. And including you, the Queen will choose three women to be with Ranma to begin a new.
Cologne
And Shampoo is...?
Elijah

The girl with the big spatula lives down the corner and to the right.

The three figures leave the Cat Café and head straight towards Ukyo's restaurant. The door closes, and Shampoo locks the door, all grinning and happy.
Cologne
I must say, that night was eventful. So, Shampoo, I'm still glad about your curse being gone, but what did she say to you?
Shampoo
*Thinking back* Now what was it?
Back up to the moment with Shampoo and Queen Aleena, the wife of God came out and told Shampoo what she is planning to do about her and Ranma.
Shampoo
So then, what is the important matter of talking with Shampoo?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Shampoo, you are chosen by which your heart leads you to, and that of which you seek. And it's Ranma.
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
So, my husband, the Lord, has permitted me to come down and tell you that you are selected to carry on a new generation.
Shampoo
You mean, Shampoo is pregnant?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Not at the moment of your age. But you shall conceive a child that grows in the womb after you, Ranma, and three other women of whom I will choose to rebuild Japan.
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Do not be afraid of anyone's faces. For I am with you, to deliver you.
Shampoo
But Shampoo has a terrible curse upon her. I change into cat and Ranma is afraid of cats.
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)

Shampoo
But how can Shampoo trust to know that you will take away this curse?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Fill the large jars in the back with cold water and bathe in it seven times.
Shampoo felt like this was an odd request and decided to get the jar and fill it with cold water. Where no one can see, she takes off her clothes and hangs her towel on the door post. She gets in and begins washing seven times. As she got in, she turns into a cat.
Shampoo (Cat)
Meow. *Inhales dunks back in*
The first time was unsuccessful. She was still a cat in cold water.
Shampoo (Cat)
*Comes up the second time, inhaling and exhaling* Meow. *Sad* Meow. *Inhales and dives back down*
After five attempts, Shampoo was on her last two attempts. The six were unsuccessful too, but then came the seventh time.
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Do not be discouraged. You're almost done.
On the final dunk, Shampoo inhales one last breath in and submerged herself underwater. When she did, she felt something different. The curse from Jusenkyo washed away out of her pores and into the water. God has cleansed her, freeing Shampoo from the curse.
When she emerged, she was back to her old self from the cold water. Shampoo then breathed out as she sees that what Queen Aleena said worked.
Shampoo
*Happy, amazed* Ai ya! Shampoo is no longer a cat! Thank you! Thank you, thank you!
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
*Nods* My pleasure. *Walks to Shampoo* Shampoo, go and tell those who were affected what you have witnessed and seen done. God will always be with you. *Walks back to the restaurant*
Shampoo
*Shows tears of happiness* I'm no longer a cat. Now, Ranma will love Shampoo forever and ever!
Shampoo
Now I know that the Lord is with Shampoo forever! *Chuckling*
Cologne
Well then, I'm glad that you're happy and that everything worked out for you. Now then, let's get some sleep. We can show son-in-law what happened tonight.

Yeah! *Gets in her bed* (And maybe Ranma will take Shampoo on date after I tell him what happened.) *Chuckling*
Shampoo sleeps dreaming about her date with Ranma, now that she isn't a cat. In her dreams, she sees a wedding being held underneath a temple God made, with Sakura pedals falling down. In her second dream, she has two kids, a boy and a girl, while Ranma practices martial arts with them. Shampoo is smiling at her new family growing. Then, in her third dream, she sees the beginning of Japan and Mount Fuji in the distance erupting. The third dream was served as a warning.
Meanwhile, at Ukyo's restaurant, she was sweeping the dust from her shop and placing it in her trash can. At this moment, she's about to be called upon.
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Ukyo.
Ukyō Kuonji
*Surprised* Huh? Who's there?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Ukyo.
Ukyō Kuonji
*Takes out her giant spatula* Could you please tell me whose there before I hit you in the upside of your head with my spatula?

Just as she wonders, inside her shop, and Okonomiyaki that she made was burning, but yet the flames do not consume it.

*Shocked* My Okonomiyaki! *Runs over but then stops, curious* (The flames, it consumes the pancake, but it's not burning?)

Ukyo drops her spatula and kneels down in Reverence.

*Thinking* (Ranma honey and me, traveling to get away from Japan and to a new land to start a family?) *Blushing red* (Oh my.)

*Realizes* But wait a second. Ranma honey won't believe that the Wife of God has spoken to me. Why would he listen to something he can't see?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Don't be afraid! I will protect you and reward you greatly. You will live to an old age and die in peace with the man who will help you make many generations to come.
Ukyō Kuonji
Suppose Ranma refuses to listen to my message, and he doesn't believe that you really appeared to me?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)

Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Cast it on the ground!
Ukyo does as she says, and in front of her, a Gaboon viper appears before her eyes. The snake moves along the ground and hisses. Ukyo jumps back a little from the spatula that got turned into a poisonous snake.
Ukyō Kuonji
*Shocked* Is that really my spatula?
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Reach out your hand, and take it by the tail.
Ukyo reaches out and grabs the snake by the tail, and it turns back into the spatula she had. She couldn't believe these signs.
Ukyō Kuonji
Oh my gosh. I can't believe this is happening to me. I'm not good at speaking my mind sometimes, and Ranma honey can see as good pals. Even though I'm his fiancé. I get nervous, and I can't speak fully.
Ukyō Kuonji
But yet, you appeared before me and told me of what's going to happen to me.
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
"Who makes a person’s mouth? Who decides whether people speak or do not speak, hear, or do not hear, see, or do not see? Is it not I, the Lord?"
Queen Aleena (Wife of God)
Now go! When you leave Tokyo, and when you see Ranma, I will be with you. And give you the words to confess.
The flames die down, and the Queen of the Lord has left the room. Ukyo looks at her spatula and can't believe that this is what she's going to show Ranma tomorrow morning. She heads back inside and dwindles on the thought of the wife of God calling her.

(I can't believe it. Descendants as numerous as the stars. Which means...) *Blushing, smiling* (Me and Ranma will have lots of children together until old age.)
In her imagination, she sees two children, a male and a female, tackling Ranma playfully in a house built on a new foundation of Tokyo. Ukyo was in the kitchen, continuing to make Okonomiyaki for her new family. In her second dream, she sees the sea floor breaking apart. Rock and gas burst through and erupt all over the city. It was a sign.
Ukyo then gasps at the second dream as she stops thinking about her imagination.
Kodachi Kunō
*Looking at the stars* Ranma darling, wherefore art thou my love? And why is it must I be apart from my beloved husband in these times that are here?
Tatewaki Kunō
Sister, what are you doing?
Kodachi Kunō
It's none of your business, brother. Can't you see I'm having a moment?
Tatewaki Kunō

Kodachi Kunō

Ryoga tried to go after Ryoga, but without any warning, and aftershock occurred. Ranma loses balance and falls down. Ryoga goes over and protects Akane from the glass shards and flying objects. This occurred all over Japan. Restaurants, buildings, schools, hospitals, and railroads were destroyed.
The aftershock lasted for about three minutes. And already it has claimed human lives. Beneath the sea, the sea floor beneath Tokyo began to collapse, and explosions from the sea erupted just as David said. Planes began falling from the sky, and trains fell off the tracks. Soon after, a tsunami came rushing in and began flooding the area to the land that was titling towards the sea.
After the aftershock, Akane was protected by Ryoga. She got up to see if Ryoga was okay.

As the sun went down, Ranma could see everyone's houses destroyed as he tried to look for a spot to relax. He was sitting on the rooftop and thinking about what he did to Akane.

The water from the sea began to rise from where they were as fire began to light up the dark sky on the oil from the cars and trucks. Ad they head up the steps, Akane looks back and watches her home burn and fall apart.

In the middle of the night, Shampoo got up and went to go look for Ranma. Ukyo and Kodachi were still asleep. Shampoo went deep into the forest to see Ranma meditating on a rock to focus. She wanted to finish her sentence before Ukyo interrupted her.
