Kim Taehyung, sitting peacefully on a bench in the hallway, ignored the chaos. He was focused on finishing the shading on his latest sketch—a portrait of a cat wearing sunglasses. It was serious art.
Suddenly, a shadow loomed over him.
Jeon Jungkook
Wow, didn’t know they let kindergarteners into high school,
(deep voice)
Taehyung’s pencil froze mid-shade. He knew that voice. Slowly, he looked up, and there he was—Jeon Jungkook, the infamous bully with the world’s most punchable smirk.
Kim Taehyung
What do you want, Jungkook?
Taehyung asked, not bothering to hide his irritation
Jungkook crouched down to his eye level, that smug grin never leaving his face.
Jeon Jungkook
I want to know why you’re sitting in 'my' hallway.
Kim Taehyung
Your hallway? Does your nameplate come with it?
Jungkook laughed, clearly amused.

Cute. But no, it’s mine because I say so. Now move.
Taehyung rolled his eyes.
Kim Taehyung
Sorry, Your Majesty. Didn’t know I needed a royal permit to sit.
Jungkook narrowed his eyes, pretending to look offended.
Jeon Jungkook
Disrespectful subjects like you should be punished.
Before Taehyung could react, Jungkook snatched the sketchbook from his hands and held it high above his head.
Kim Taehyung
Hey! Give it back!
Taehyung jumped up, but Jungkook easily dodged him, waving the sketchbook like a trophy.
Jeon Jungkook
Oh, what’s this?
Jungkook opened the sketchbook, flipping through the pages. His smirk widened.

A cat with sunglasses? Really? Are you trying to start a new meme?
Kim Taehyung
It’s not a meme! It’s ART!
Jungkook burst out laughing.

Art? This cat looks like it’s about to drop the hottest mixtape of the year!
Taehyung lunged for the book again, but Jungkook casually held it higher.

Kim Taehyung
I’ll kick you, I swear!
Jeon Jungkook
(Jungkook grinned.) Go ahead. I’ll even hold still.
Taehyung, in a moment of pure frustration, did what anyone would do in his position. He stepped on Jungkook’s foot.
Jeon Jungkook
OW! What the—
Jungkook yelped, dropping the sketchbook as he hopped on one foot. Taehyung snatched it back and hugged it to his chest like it was his baby.
Kim Taehyung
Ha! That’s what you get, jérk!
Jungkook stopped hopping and stared at him, his eyes narrowing.
Jeon Jungkook
You’re gonna regret that.
Taehyung raised an eyebrow.
Kim Taehyung
Oh, I’m so scared.
Jungkook leaned closer, his smirk returning.
Jeon Jungkook
You should be. You’ve just made yourself my new hobby.
Kim Taehyung
What does that mean?
Jeon Jungkook
It means I’m going to make your life 'very' interesting,
Jungkook said, his voice dripping with mischief.
Before Taehyung could protest, Jungkook turned and walked away, leaving him standing there, confused and slightly terrified.
From a distance, Jungkook glanced back, his smirk softening into something almost… fond.
