Downstairs in the kitchen Kayla, was cooking breakfast she hadn't been sleeping for day because of her evil, stepmother making her do choose all over the house.
Kayla started humming, a song. Which always made her happy, when she was cooking or doing things in the house.

Kayla looked at her stepmother with. Confused face thinking why she was always in a bad mood, all the time.
She placed the pan down and turned around to face her, Ash yes that was her stepmother name unfortunately she had to call her madam which she hated a lot.

Greeting madam I was making breakfast for you and the door was close, so I didn't hear you.
Her stepmother eyes look like they were on fire that she shout out in a loud tone.

She looked up to see her stepmother heartless face it was cold bitter unfeeling.
As if she loved hurting her for no reason and only found pride in making her suffer.

She needs to escape from her, so she can live her life without, suffering she leaned down taken out a suitcase that was under her bed for years and started to pack her clothes to escape tonight.
Feeling overwhelmed with all these horrible feeling she knew that. If she stays here she wouldn't be happy at all she would have to wait until her, stepmother goes to sleep tonight, so she could leave.
Kayla's breath in calming her nervous
Kayla sat there on her bed until the evening while her stepmother only called her to do dinner then sent her back up to her room again.

seeing that the floor was still damp she ran to see a waterfall a smile. Came on her face to find that she was free and now could take a bath to freshen up, because she takenn't had a shower. All day. It was annoying her how her stepmother took shower and would not let her have one Kayla sat down took her bag off taking her clothes out. Looking to make sure one was around, so she could take her clothes off.
She gave a sigh as she started to undress placing her dirty clothes on the grass as she placed herself into the water feeling the luck warm water against her skin it felt lovely

Your awake you have been unconscious for almost the entire day how do you feel
