A young lad wakes up to the sound of birds chirping outside my room. Guess he had forgotten to fully shut his window pane last night. Grogging and batting his eyelid up gradually, Raziri stretches his arms and yawns.
He gets out of bed and does his morning routine, preparing to go to school.
After he finished, he went downstairs to greet his mom a 'good morning' and kissed her cheek. They had another short yet lovely chat which brightens Raziri's mood. He then wore his shoes and said 'goodbye' to her, before he dashed out of the house.
With quick running steps, the young lad arrived at the school's gate. He suddenly heard the bell rang, getting him more nervous. Raziri dashes again as he heads inside the campus.
Raziri passed by the hallway. He abruptly halted when he see the school's announcement board with loads of various papers pinned for display. The left portion had papers enlisted with student names and their assigned classroom. He looked over his name and found it under Class C. Raziri heaved a sigh of relief, then noticed a familiar name in the next column.
He was about to say that person's name out loud when his phone began to vibrate in his pocket.
He opened it and found a message.
Kayden
Raz, where are you? The opening ceremony's 'boutta start.
Kayden Havor, his acquainted elementary friend, had chatted. He was also the familiar person aforementioned in the same classroom list.
Raziri hid his phone back inside then quickly dashed again through the hallway. He could hear the yell of the guard telling him not to run, though the lad had to ignore only this time or else he's late.
Arriving at a wide open field, Raziri looked to where Kayden was. The guy was taller than him and stood out for being the natural blondè guy, but he isn't the only student having such innate attributes. Still, Kayden noticed him, then raised his hand slightly above and waved them.
Raziri immediately noticed his gesture, so he dashed towards him. Fortunately his friend left some space infront of him due to his bag getting in the way, then pulled out of the ground once Raziri arrived on the line.
Kayden gets close to his ear.
Kayden
Why are you almost late?
Raziri
* tries to ward him off by waving him away *
Raziri
I enjoyed my morning well — or too much enjoyment rather.
Raziri
* slightly glances then glares *
The school bell rang loudly, alarming every students' attention as some fell asleep as they stood, while the others were daydreaming or chatting with one another in their lines.
When it finished, class hours began. Raziri, Kayden and his other classmates went straight to their class' homeroom and sat at any available chairs they could find. Each seats were aligned in 5 columns and 7 rows.
Raziri

Raziri laid his head with his arms around the table like a pillow. He then slightly faces to Kayden, who immediately noticed Raziri's gaze so he looked back.

After an hour and a few minutes, the bell rang and their first class came to an end.

As Raziri was about to head out, he was called by someone.

Seems you forgot something, Raz.
Raziri halted, then looked at Kayden sitting on his desk with a smirk on his face.
Raziri
I believe you have something I need, Kayden?
Kayden
* pulls out a blue water bottle *

And I believe, this is yours?
Raziri scoffed, then rushed over to Kayden. He lunged his arm to grab his bottle but Kayden reflexed and pulled it up. The pink lad tried to reach it by jumping, Kayden kept dodging him. Raziri sighed in defeat and glared at him.
Raziri
Whatever you're trying to do, stop it.
Kayden
* hands down the bottle then towards Raziri *
Kayden
Just tryin' to ease your mood. You seemed anxious.
Raziri
I never thought you were concerned about me, golden prince. And why would I be anxious?
Kayden
* sits down on his chair then takes out a packed lunch *
Kayden
Not that I'm concerned. I was a little distracted by your gestures — your fingers tapped like playing a piano, yet the rhythm isn't to my liking.

* grabs a nearby chair and sits down beside him *

Firstly, it's because it's the start of the school days, ok? I can't help but worry a lot especially when... You know, stuffs, will happen.
Kayden

* stood up, went to his desk and grabbed his packed lunch *

Why do you not like brocolli?

* opens packed lunch as Kayden pours the brocollis on top of his rice *

I dislike the taste, and its texture makes my tongue uncomfortable.
Kayden
* takes a spoonful of his meal and munches *
Raziri
I'm just confused. It tastes nice, for your info.
Raziri

Raziri
* opens bottle and drinks water *

Raziri
* takes a spoonful of meal, munches then swallows *

Raziri and Kayden continued to take their lunches while chatting a bunch of topics they could talk about.
Time passed and classes ended. Both friends have exitted the classroom and walked on the hallway as they headed downstairs.

Have you even payed attention during our Science lesson?
Kayden
Not much. Didn't pay attention.
Kayden's phone then vibrated with a bell sound. He turns it on and unlocks screen, and his face began bleaming with life like a light bulb.
Kayden
But I got good news from something else.
Kayden
* hovers his phone and faces it to Raziri *

* looks at his phone *
Kayden
Finally got the exclusive hero skin from the new update of Narconia Liz, and more golds to bring home the bacon. Going to level-up even more when I get home.
Kayden
Bud, you should try playing this game, this is darn good.
Raziri gave his friend a pokerface, and started walking faster, as if he heard nothing.

As they both had a silent yet vigorous walking-chase, they both arrived at the doors of the building to head outside.
Then the school guard called him out, reminding Raziri not to run in the halls anymore.

I'm very sorry sir. It won't happen again.
Raziri continued to walk without waiting for his response due to panic. As he quickly walks away, Kayden caught up to him when they both reached the school's gate.
Kayden
Did you do something?
Raziri
I think you heard him. I ran down the hall this morning. Would be late if I weren't.
Kayden
* ruffles Raziri's hair *

They were now walking by the roadside, still in the same tease-and-banter chat.
On the road, a car suddenly appeared with speed. Due to its noise, Raziri was alerted so he pulled Kayden away from the road before its side mirror could hit him.

* glanced sidely at the road then behind him then to Raziri *

Raziri
You can't be sure. That car was so fast yet I saw it speeding near the edge of the road. It was — huh?
Raziri hadn't finished his statement when he noticed a glowing paper above them, gradually falling down like a leaf.
He reached out to catch it but, of course, Kayden caught it first.

Kayden

* puts the paper on his uniform pocket *

Time advances to late evening, and Raziri is now in his bedroom. He finished eating dinner and changing his clothes off into pajamas. He's now sitting by his study desk, with the glowing paper on it.

He headed downstairs and onto his garage to check if the paper was in his car. He kept searching from its front seat row to the rear, but no paper was found.
