A group of villagers sits around a fire as the village elder recounts the legend of Baba Yaga. one of them listens intently, his fists clenched in determination.

Elder

Long ago, deep in the heart of the forest, there lived a sorceress unlike any other—Baba Yaga.

Elder

They say her hut moves on chicken legs, ...and her magic is woven from the bones of the earth and the whispers of the dead...💀☠️

villager 1

[shivering]😱 They say she eats those who dare enter her forest....🌳🌳

Elder

[nodding] Perhaps... But she wasn’t always feared. Once, she was a healer, a protector of balance....Villages would flourish under her guidance, their crops bountiful, their people thriving...

What changed?..

Elder

[sighing] ❤Love. Or rather, the loss of it. Baba Yaga fell for a mortal man—a woodsman who wandered into her forest.

Elder

But mortals and magic seldom mix. He betrayed her, stealing one of her enchanted relics to sell for gold.... She found him, of course, and his betrayal hardened her heart forever...

villager 2

[nervously] 😨 And that’s when she cursed the forest?

Elder

Yes.!!!..She turned her home into a trap—a labyrinth of shadows. Any who enter uninvited are never seen again.... Those who anger her, she curses...

And what about our village? Why did she curse us?

Elder

Our ancestors made a grave mistake. 😞They cut down her sacred grove to expand the fields. Baba Yaga warned them to stop, but they were blinded by greed.

Elder

She cursed our land, turning it barren, and vowed no child would survive here for more than a generation...😵

villager 1

[terrified]😰 We’ve tried appeasing her—leaving offerings, prayers—but she doesn’t listen.😭

Elder

(looking at the boy) The only way to break the curse is to face her yourself. But mark my words, boy, no one has ever returned...

[determined] Then I’ll be the first. If we don’t try, the curse will destroy us all..

The crowd gasps. Murmurs spread like wildfire.

Ace, no! You’re too young..😨

Ace

Someone has to do it. ..Sitting here and fearing the forest won’t break the curse...

Elder

(sighs heavily)😞 The path is treacherous. No one who enters her domain returns. You’ll need courage and wit, boy...

Ace

(determined)😠 I’ll bring back answers or die trying...

(The villagers reluctantly agree. Ace’s younger sister pulls him aside.)

Ace’s Home

Ace is packing his belongings when his younger sister, Mina, enters, teary-eyed.

Mina

Brother, please don’t go.😢 What if you don’t come back?

Ace

(kneels to her level) Mina, I have to do this. For you, for the village😊. We can’t live in fear forever.😠

Mina

But... Baba Yaga is a monster. She eats people!💀😭

Ace

(Smirks)😏 😉That’s just a story to scare kids. She’s powerful, yes, but maybe she’ll listen...

Mina

(whispers) You will Come back, Brother. Promise me...😢

Ace

I promise..😊

They hug, and Ace steps outside, looking toward the forest. The trees seem to shift in the wind, as if alive..

Ace

(to himself) Baba Yaga... if you’re watching, I’m coming...

He takes a deep breath and steps into the forest, the shadows swallowing him whole.

Ace walks deeper into the forest. The dense trees block out sunlight, and strange whispers echo around him

Ace

(mutters)😦 Just trees... nothing to fear...

A crow caws loudly, startling him. The shadows seem to move, forming shapes that dissolve when he looks directly at them.

Mysterious voice

“Turn back... You don’t belong here...”

Ace

(spins around) Who’s there?! Show yourself!..

No response. Ace grips his dagger tightly and presses on, his footsteps crunching on dry leaves.

Ace comes across a clearing with a stone altar. On it lies a glowing, red apple. He cautiously approaches.

Ace

(to himself) Its a trap, obviously...

As he reaches out, vines shoot up from the ground, wrapping around his legs.

Ace

What the—?!

The vines pull him toward the altar. Shadows rise from the ground, forming humanoid figures with glowing eyes.

Shadow 1

You seek Baba Yaga? You are not worthy..

Ace

(struggling)😖 Let me go!

Shadow 2

Prove your courage, mortal.... Face us, or turn back!

Ace manages to draw his dagger and slashes at the vines. He stumbles free but is surrounded by the shadow figures..

Ace

(gritting his teeth)😠😬 Fine. Let’s see what you’ve got.

He charges at the shadows, his dagger slicing through them. They reform each time, but Ace refuses to back down. Finally, his persistence causes the shadows to dissolve.

Disembodied Voice: Bravery... but will it be enough?

The forest falls silent again. Ace catches his breath and continues forward.

As Ace walks, he feels someone watching him. A figure steps out from behind a tree—a tall, pale young man with piercing blue eyes and a mischievous smirk.

(raises his dagger) And who the hell are you?🤨

(leans casually against a tree)🌳 Ohh me..

And who the hell I'm talking to..🤨

Zane

🙄Ah!! don't be harsh...I am Just a servant of🙇🏻‍♂ the forest... i mean baba gaya's servant...Or maybe a warning. Depends on you...

Ace

Are you going to stop me?.

Zane

(laughs softly) Ohh Stop you? No... I’m here to see if you survive or not..💀

Ace

(glares)😠 I’m not afraid of you ghost👻 or this forest..

Zane

Ha..haha 😂 me ghost..wait!! 😯🤨hey who the fuck you are calling ghost Hah!!

Ace

You and who..😐

Zane

🤬😡Ah!! you m***erf**ker in which angle do i see ghost ...

Ace

🙁😧 So.. you are not ghost..👻

Zane

😤Hell!! no i am human just like you..

Zane

(steps closer, his tone darkening) And you should be afraid.... This forest is alive. It sees you...👀 Knows your fears. If you don’t respect it, it’ll swallow you whole...

Ace

(holds his ground) Then I guess ...I’ll have to earn its respect..

Zane

(smirks again)😏 Brave words kiddo..but Let’s see if you can back them up...

Ace

Hey(-᷅_-᷄)!! I'm not kid.. I'm Ace.. and I'm 22 years old..

Zane

Well doesn't matter for me╮(╯▽╰)╭.. I'm Zane bye the way...

Nikolai turns and disappears into the shadows, leaving Ace more determined but slightly unnerved..

Ace reaches a fork in the path. One route looks bright but unnaturally perfect, with flowers and sunlight. The other is dark and overgrown with thorny vines.
