Dear, super, mega, rare audience, welcome to Passion for Penillion! As you can see, it's a new department by the MTN Community. Well, this is a poetry club, so it's normal that this is just an ordinary poetry club that you don't want to waste your time on.

However we, being us, are determined to show you that poetry is not as boring as we think and we will try our best to make you interested in it no matter how long it takes.

Head: Here, we will try our best to help you get rid of your boredom and share thoughts with one another.😋

Audience: Really?😮

Leader: No, there's a thing called sarcasm.

Audience: ..........

Head: Hehehe, just kidding. Don't worry. 

Audience: Ok......

Head: Anyways, before we start, I want you guys to know something.

Leader: What is that 'something'?

Head: Ahem, Leader could you please tell us, what is poetry?

Audience: Seriously, head...

Head: We all know what it means, this is just to fill the space. 🤧😅

 Leader: Well Head, poetry has different meaning for different people. For some, "Poetry is an emotion put into measure. The emotion must come by nature, but the measure can be acquired by art.” As Thomas Hardy said, while others could relate it to "Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings. It takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility." like William Wordsworth said.

Leader: Is the idea clear now head?

Head: Yes, and the space is also filled.

Assistant: Another thing, I once read that anyone can write poetry. Is that true? 

Head: That is one of the mysteries of the universe my dear friend. However, to write poetry, you don’t need anything except for words. Words are the greatest weapon, we just need to use them properly. Anyone can be a poet if they have words and are willing to express their feelings, thoughts and emotions through them.

Head: Was the answer good enough?

Audience: Yeahhh...that was amazing. We are looking forward.

Hi guys, welcome back to Passion for Penillion. We are really sorry about the delay. Thank you so much, for your unlimited patience. So, let's begin without any further ado, shall we?

Audience: Lazy Head, if you don’t start now, then we will start to throw rotten tomatoes at you!!!

Leader: Guys, please calm down… I know, that this Head, is really lazy but please calm down and let her speak…

Head: Thank you, Leader... So, guys the Passion for Penillion is finally back with its very first event. The name of this event is“Artistry Trials of Balladry.”

For this competition please follow the instructions and rules given below:

This is a pair event. In each pair, one has to write a poem on the given topic(s), and the other will have to draw what he/she understands about the poem that his/her partner wrote.

This event is a collaboration with the art department and the cover center. As a surprise, the judges won't be revealed until the very end of the event.

Please don’t cheat or think about cheating, because you will be disqualified if we find any similarities in the poems or drawings of two or three different teams.

If you have any questions, you can contact the department member, you can change your partners if you have any problem, but you can only change your partner before the first round begins.
