"Someone's following me." Alina told. A girl, maybe around 24-25 yrs old, looking terrified and scared as hell. She was fully drenched with rain water as it was pouring heavily outside. Maybe a huge thunderstorm broke out. "Please let me stay here for the night or else he'll kill me if he finds me." She said it with a sour throat and a trembling voice. "Who's following you? Let me have a look!" Rohan's father looked here and there with suspicion. "No one is here. I think he must be gone." He said after ensuring with a nod. "You can stay up here for the night. Go get freshen up. I will make the best dinner for you." Rohan's mother told while comforting her. Rohan, a 14-year-old kid and his little sister Navya, around 8-9 years old, were mysteriously staring at the blue gift box she was holding in her hands. Alina placed that gift box onto the table, and she went to the washroom to take a bath. "Can we open it?" Little Navya excitedly, and curiously asked. " No, it does not belong to us. We cannot open it." Her father scolded. They quietly went to the dinner table and suddenly Alina came out of the washroom and she was holding a huge bunch of hair strands that she had cut from her long beautiful hair. She looked into the hall and then placed it into the gift box. "Where are you Alina? Come, have dinner" Her mother asked loudly. "Coming!" She replied. She then came to the dinner table and after dinner they went to their rooms. Rohan and Alina were sharing a single room. She placed the blue gift box onto the cupboard and then they went to sleep.

At 2:53 A.M., Rohan woke up dripping with sweat. He looked at one corner of his room and suddenly he saw some tentacles were coming out of the gift box and it was grabbing the neck of Alina. The grip of tentacles were so hard that her eyes popped out and blood was coming like water coming out of the hose. Rohan got so scared that he tightly covered his face with a blanket. After an interval of time, he falls asleep. "Get up Rohan! You're gonna be late for school." Rohan suddenly got up and he started looking for Alina. "What are you looking for?" His mother asked. "Where is she?" Suddenly Alina came out of the washroom drying her hair with a towel. Rohan was in shock. He got frozen and he was continuously staring at her. Her mother asked several times the reason for staring at her but he didn't respond. His sister then playfully pushed him and he came back into senses. Alina then interrupted, "I should get ready and leave. Thank you for everything." She then got ready, greeted them and left. His mother intervened, "Oh! She forgot her gift box."

As he was pondering about that enigma all day in the class, his best friend Akash shook his shoulders and scared him. "What thoughts are you preoccupied with?" He asked while laughing his heart out loud. "You've scared the hell out of me. Why are you bothering me?" He replied with anger. Akash then asked him to get up from his seat. He then got up from his seat and they went to the playground to play cricket. They were having the time of their life and as they were playing cricket, he realised that the ball they were playing with was blue in colour and the colour was the exact same colour as the blue gift box. He suddenly had a flashback about that blue gift box. He was so lost in the thoughts and in the piles of thoughts, he didn't hit the ball. The ball, with full force, came straight to his head, hitting him so hard that he collapsed onto the ground and fainted.

He again woke up at midnight. He realised it was the same situation that had happened before. He frantically looked for the time and he realised it's 2:53 A.M., again!! Suddenly, he saw a figure standing in the corner and as he looked towards the corner, scared, he saw none other than Alina. He realised that Alina was holding that gift box and all of a sudden a bright light appears and he found himself standing outside a resplendent white house. "Something's surely fishy about that white house." He thought after scrutinizing the surroundings of that house. "It seems like no one's ever got there and the place seems abandoned but surprisingly the white house seems like it's newly built." He said. Suddenly he saw Alina in a white wedding gown and she was standing inside of it and she was looking directly at him. She was looking very pale and weak as if she hadn't been eaten for days or maybe months. He realised that she was still holding that blue gift box, blabbering something or maybe enchanting some evil spell. As by every single word coming out of her mouth, her eyes were getting wider and wider and then the gift falls down from her hand and her eyes popped out and she started wailing and crying the tears of blood, literally!! Her white gown was now covered with red blood and then she screamed like a maniac. "Oh!! Finally he woke up." His mother cried the happy tears. His father and friends were also relieved to see him well. He realised that he suffered from a minor concussion and he was laying on a bed of a hospital. The doctors then came and ran few tests on him and then discharged him. All the way, his mother and father were scolding him and saying not to play cricket anymore when suddenly on his way, he saw the same white house!!

He asked his parents to stop right there. His parents were confused but reluctantly agreed. They got out of the car and then started walking towards the house. Rohan's eyes were scanning the whole scenario around and that looks exactly like that scenario that he had dreamt about. They got near the door and rang the bell. A young beautiful lady opened the door. She looks between the age of 30-31 years and she was holding a baby of about 8-10 months in her hands. "Hello kiddo! What do you want?" She asked. "Your house seems so attractive and lavish!! Can I have a look, please?" He said with his puppy dog eyes. "Sure, why not? You guys can sit and be comfortable until then I will make you some tea." She said. Until then her husband came out of his room. "We're actually new here and we don't know many people. It's nice getting to know you guys." He spoked. " Our pleasure!! You can ask if you need any help from us." His father replied. Rohan's eyes were scanning the whole hall when suddenly he spotted a blue vase. He realised that the blue vase was the same colour as the blue gift box. As he glared at it, suddenly the vase fell down and broke into pieces. "Ohh! That stupid clumsy cat. When will you throw this idiot out of this house, Marinda. One day she will destroy every single object of our house." Her husband shouted as a black cat with blue eyes jumped off the shelf. The eyes of the cat were also the same blue colour, again. "Don't say that to her. She'll get hurt by your words." Marinda said as she came with some cups of tea. "Urgh!!" Her husband shrugged. The cat started glaring at Rohan, continuously without moving as if she was a statue and not alive. "We should leave now. We are getting late." His father interrupted. They then got up, thanked them and left.

On his way home, Rohan can't take off his mind from that incident. He was joining the dots as everything seems connected to each other. When they got home, he ran into his room. He started scribbling each and every incident that had happened so far yet. "Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!" His mother screamed from the kitchen loud enough that can be heard by the entire neighborhood. He and his father came running downstairs and as they got there, they had the shock of a lifetime. His sister was dead. She has been lying on the floor, drenched with blood, her neck strangulated with a bunch of hair, and her eyes gouged out with a sharp knife. She was brutally murdered. Suddenly her mother felt unconscious and fainted. His father picked her up and called the ambulance and police and rushed outside. As Rohan was also leaving, he found something written in the drawer of the kitchen. "You've been cursed." It says.
