When I was young I thought everything was always sparkles and rainbows, and yet, It’s not . I got bullied a lot in middle school mostly because I was in the foster system, yes most people in my school know about me being in foster care and it’s because of one person Always spreading her filthy rumors. One day that girl was talking to her friends about how I’m so ugly, I don’t have any parents because they gave me away, and stuff like that, I was so bloody angry. “I’m tired of this” I thought in my head. I went up to her and said, “Don’t you have something interesting in your life to talk about besides me.” “I’m starting to think you have a crush on me,” And obviously being the skank she was, she told me “ Oh, honey nobody would have a crush on you,” She said rolling her eyes, as she and her friends started to walk away. I stopped her and laughed “ Like anyone would like a punta.” After that things went silent she started to speak, “I’ll stop right there.” It got really heated after that she started yelling at me and screaming I was just laughing telling her to shut up. She, started laughing, Next thing I know is that I said “ I’ll give you a reason to laugh” I got closer to her and slapped her, she held her hand up to her face and started crying soon she slapped me back, I laughed unfazed by her slapping me, I punched her in the face causing her nose to bleed, while this was happening her friends went and got the teachers. “Oh, I’m sorry did I hurt you” I start laughing again I pushed her down to the ground and got on top of her and punched her until you couldn’t barley tell it was her. As I was punching I was laughing as if me hurting her made me feel happy. The teacher came in and grabbed me off of her, she sent both of us to the principals office, I was Expelled that day. It was toward the end of the school year anyway I didn’t care but the social workers did. From then on out I was homeschooled until high school, When that day came me and my foster family went to New York for me to go to school and because my foster parents got new job opportunities there. We got to New York but the school year was already two weeks in. When we got to New York we looked at our new house and honestly it was beautiful a big peaceful house with a big backyard and a pool I loved it, I started to unpack after I had gotten most of my stuff out I got in the shower and got dressed, I went for a walk around the place, soon while walking I found a small little cafe called “starlight” I walked in and saw a middle aged woman standing next to a girl that seemed to be my age, I asked if I could have black coffee with some sugar in it, “Yeah I’ll get you your order right now,” “By the way are you new here.” “Yeah I am.” “Cool are you going to Redwood,” “I mean if your not going to school and stuff then—.” “Yeah I’m going to Redwood,” I laughed, “ Anyway I have to leave,” “Bye.”

I left the shop, and ran into a girl she was a devilish disguise she had some tattoos and, green dyed hair, as well as some piercings I could tell we were going to be friends. “If only I knew back then”

I kept staring at the green haired girl as I walking out of the coffee shop I heard her phone ringing. She grabbed her phone out of her pocket hastily, and started screaming into the phone. “STAR! I’m outside you dumbass, Get your stuff and come on!” She said, as she hung up she bumped into me causing my coffee to spill on the ground.”Hey, watch where your going.” She said, “Why can’t you, couldn’t you tell I was coming out of the coffee shop.” She bursted our laughing, she had big sparkles in her eyes, and flawless tan skin “I was only kidding, hi my name Emily, and you are?” She said with a bright expression, “Emina I said softly.” “Nice name.” “Anyway I’ll get out of your hair now.” She left with a confident walk into the coffee shop, and soon came out with the girl at the counter. They must be friends. I started going home, as I was coming up into the yard I saw that my brother, I was going to wave at him until I noticed he was standing next to a girl, I went up beside him, I said “Hi Caleb,” The girl looked at me with a vicious expression and her piercing blue eyes. I looked at her the same way until she said “look thirsty bitch get away from my man.” She said twirling her blonde hair, “Actually he’s not your man Barbie he’s my brother, so fuck off punta,” I laughed almost shitting myself. He was mad at me, while I didn’t care, After a couple of seconds of talking this bitch looked like she was tired so I said”How about you lay down you dog.” My brother looked At me “This is why I wish you were never adopted.” He said In a cold voice, I was slightly disturbed and soon went into the house and was think over what he just said, “Ugh that bitch probably was his girlfriend or he’s just a man whore and wanted to get some.” Either way I don’t really care, I got up out of my bed and went downstairs to get something to eat when I went downstairs I heard that bitch, she was scrambling around my mothers jewelry box “Bitch what the fuck do you think your doing” I said, “Ugh why are you here little runt go back upstairs and leave me alone.”She said, “Look let go of her stuff.” I grabbed her hand, and she pushed me, “Ugh I hate petty ass bitches like you” I said “I grabbed her by the back of her head and hit it off the wall, “Fuck you” I said, “Now you might want to get out before I hurt you even more, blood streaming down the side of her face from her ear, she started crying and left I locked the door, behind her and grabbed something to eat and walked upstairs ate what I got out of the fridge and went to sleep.

I woke up after a very stressful night, I got out of bed and got a shower, after I got dressed I went downstairs and I saw my mom in the kitchen. “Are you hungry?” She asked with a smile, “Not really.” I replied tired as if I had no sleep at all. My brother was there too staring at me, to me it looked like he regretted telling me that he had hoped I was never adopted. I was ready to leave I left home early ready for school, when I got there I saw the two girls I met the other day I walked up to them and started talking to them, until one blonde haired girl came up to us. She said, “Oh, you must be new here.” “Yeah I am.” I said confidently, next thing that came out of her mouth made my blood boil “You look ratchet.” I smirked and said “You wanna see something ratchet.” “Woah, woah, don’t get your panties in a twist new girl.” “Anyway you see Damon over there he’s mine. “I don’t want a girl like you around him.” “Okay..” I said questionably. “Bye biatch.” I said, she gasped, and then left with a angered expression. I looked at the guy she was talking about, I started walking towards him the girls saying “don’t go near him,” I go over there anyway, I asked if his name was Damon but he didn’t respond, after awhile of talking to myself I slapped him, he looked pissed, he slammed me against the locker and looked at me head from toe, I could tell he was going to do something. I am not afraid of a man but damn was he scary. No I wasn’t shaking or anything like that if that’s what your thinking, I put on a mask, I looked him straight in the eyes folding my arms as he had me against the lockers then out of nowhere. “You might not wanna touch me that way girl” he said, I slapped him again then I laughed he looked at me furiously, “You wanna keep slapping me fine” he pulled me into the storage closet right beside us “You wanna mess with me girlie fine.” Right then and there he kissed me, I pushed him off of me and someone came into the closet, It was a teacher, she almost caught us. We stayed there silently, “I’m almost sure that class already started,” He told me to stay quiet. “We did it!” I said, it was really dark and we were behind a shelf the teacher didn’t get to us she just left we decided to just skip the rest of first period and stay in the closet we just were talking until...

We hurried up and left the closet, after so many excruciating classes I met up with the girls, at lunch we were talking, and talking.
