There were creepy smiling creatures snarling outside the wooden door while Fami snucked on the corner of the room who looked like a classroom.

The creepy smiling creatures kept passing by the door while Junhwo was keeping an eye out on the Smiling Creatures.

"Sob, I-i I wanna go home..." The Fami cried, and Junhwo went closer to her to comfort her.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be safe. We'll just have to wait till an hour comes"

It all happened at the camping trip at Jeju Island. There was a well covered by a large wooden plate and paper talismans were circling it. And that place smelled like rotten corpse. Ha-jun and Sunghyun were the ones who opened it accidentally and what we saw was...

Flashback to the day it all started.

"Alright! We'll be in Jeju for 3 days. Don't lie, did all of your parents allowed you?" Mr Lee asked politely.

"Yes!" The students excitedly yelled.

"Alright, be careful, the Government won't pay us if something happened to you" Mr Lee jokingly said as he climbed up the yacht.

"Junhwo!" Ha-jun called out.

"Why are you carrying so much stuff?" Junhwo asked.

"Ohh, these? It's Hae-soo's I took it for her" Ha-jun said.

"Waaah... You're just helping her to make her notice you" Junhwo said jokingly.

"Nah, I'm just a Gentleman who wanted to help a Girl" Ha-jun said confidently.

"Ha-jun-nim I'll carry it now. I don't want to burden you" Hae-soo said.

"Don't worry, I'm fine. This is just basic exercises to me" Ha-jun braggedly said.

"Give me the other bag" Junhwo offered to help.

"Hae-soo!" Mo-ryeong yelled.

Hae-soo hugged Mo-ryeong tightly and said "Aunt Yan allowed you?"

"Yupp!" Mo-ryeong said as Hae-soo and her started jumping excitedly.

"Mo-ryeong-ya" Junhwo called.

"Hmm?" Mo-ryeong tilted her head.

"Give me your bag so you can walk with Hae-soo properly" Junhwo offered.

"Thank you!" Mo-ryeong handed her bag to Junhwo and walked ahead with Hae-soo.

"Woah... Am I thinking what it is?" Ha-jun randomly said.

"Huh?" Junhwo confusedly asked.

"Y-you like Mo-ryeong!?" Ha-jun yelled.

"What..?"

"I mean that's a good idea. I like Hae-soo and you like her best friend and you're my best friend. Not bad, not bad. And then we'll be neighbors when we grow up, and have kids" Ha-jun blabbed nonstop about future.

"Knock it off, I don't like Mo-ryeong" Junhwo exclaimed.

"Jeez"

3 Hours later and they've finally reached Jeju.

"Thanks Ha-jun I'll carry it now" Hae-soo took her bag and went down.

"Thank you too Junhwo! I'm taking it now too" Mo-ryeong took her bag and followed Hae-soo.

When everyone was down the yacht Mr Lee announced "Kids! Everyone listen. Feel free to look around but. This Island has rules. Do not get close to the caves and wells, understand? Oii, were you kids listening?"

"Yes sirrr..." Everyone answered.

"Junhwo-nim! wanna come with us?" Hae-soo Offered.

"Where?" Junhwo asked.

"We're gonna look around" Mo-ryeong said.

"Yeah, we rarely go together. C'mon!" Sunghyun said.

We ended up going with them. As we roamed around we got lost. The place was foggy and quiet that we didn't even hear birds or insects make a sound.

"Crap we're lost..." Sunghyun said.

Suddenly a faint sound asking for help echoed to us.

"What was that?.." Hae-soo asked.

"Guys look I see a lamp over there" Mo-ryeong said while pointing at the light nearby.

"Let's go there" Junhwo said.

"Wait guys! That looks like... A well" Hae-soo said, but nobody listened.

"This looks like a ritual site... Guys let's get back now. Something doesn't feel right" Right after saying that Sunghyun and Ha-jun tripped over a rope and accidentally broke the wood plate covering the well.

Hae-soo who was standing close to the well was shaking and frozen in place as if she had seen something under the well.

"Owww..." Ha-jun groaned and stood up.

"Hae-soo what's wrong?" Mo-ryeong went closer to her and glance at the well "AHHH!" Mo-ryeong fell on the ground after screaming.

"What's wrong!?" Ha-jun yelled.

Junhwo looked down and saw an eerie and creepy humanoid creature. Its eyes was yellowish white, its body was white, and it had an eerie spine-chilling smile. It looked up at us.

"Wha-what the f*ck is that!?" Junhwo said as he locked eyes with the Smiling creature.

It suddenly turned its head to look at Hae-soo.

"A-ah... It's l-looking at me..." Hae-soo said while shaking.

Suddenly the Smiling creature started shaking and its eyes started turning red as it cried out blood and led out a loud screech.

"SCREEEEEEEEEECH!!!"

We all ran as fast as we can while the Smiling creature was screeching under the well.

While an old lady blocked our path and yelled "You Imbeciles! You've opened the well, and now you kids are cursed!"

"I-it was an accident!" Mo-ryeong yelled.

"Now three wells were opened you and the other people who opened it are now cursed! You don't know what those Smilers can do"

"What did you guys see on the well?! Tell me! What was that!?" Ha-jun yelled in confusion.

Right after we turned back to the Lady, the Lady was gone.

"What the h*ck?! She was here a while ago!" Junhwo yelled.

"W-what should we do?! What if that Monster follows us?!" Mo-ryeong yelled in fear.

Suddenly we heared people running towards our direction.

"What the f*ck!?" Min-su yelled.

"I told you not to get inside the cave!" Fami yelled.

"We didn't! I just took the paper thingy then something suddenly screamed inside the cave!" Tae-jung said.

"And the crazy old lady... What if she was telling the truth!" Nikki yelled.

"Let's just go back to camp now... I'm sure it was just a local prank" Tae-jung said.

"Let's go back together..." Hae-soo said.

"Hae-soo!? You saw it too?.." Min-su asked.

"Saw what?.." Junhwo said.

"The crazy old lady said 3 wells were opened did you open one too?" Nikki said while stuttering.

"We didn't mean to" Mo-ryeong said.

"Y-you also saw t-the tall faceless creature right?! T-the black one that looked like Slender man?!" Min-su said while shaking.

"What do you mean... The creature we saw was a Smiling white humanoid..." Hae-soo said.

"Are you saying there's more?!" Hakkuryu yelled.

"That means... There's three if them right? W-what should we do?!" Mo-ryeong said.

Almost an Hour has passed and everyone finally calmed down. We decided to forget everything we saw, that it was just our imagination.

"Alright, why do you all look so stressed?" Mr Lee asked.

"Don't worry Sir, we're fine" Junhwo said.

"Alright, since we're short on tents. You'll have to sleep with someone. The tents are large enough to fit two people so pair up. No opposite gender pair okay?" Mr Lee said and continued grilling the barbecues.

"Junhwo-ya pair?" Ha-jun asked.

"Do you even need to ask. Of course you'll always be my partner" Junhwo said.

"Junhwo... C-can we stand our tent beside yours?.." Mo-ryeong said.

"Sure... But where's Hae-soo?" Ha-jun asked.

"The Girls are comforting her right now" She said while fidgeting her hands.

"Want us to help you build it?" Junhwo offered.

"Sure! That would be great" Mo-ryeong said.

After helping Mo-ryeong build the tent Junhwo noticed a Head peeking on the lake.

"What the h*ck..." Junhwo whispered to himself after seeing the head stare at him.

"That's a normal thing to us locals, don't worry it won't harm you" Said the Man.

"Why didn't we hear anything about that in the news..?" Junhwo asked.

"Everyone who took videos and pictures of it disappears the next day after taking the photo of it. We call that a Lid. Don't worry only cursed people can see it" The man said.

"What do you mean..." Junhwo asked.

"You looked at the Smiler's eyes... You've been marked. Anyone who locks eyes with the Smiler often survive. But if it looked away from you then the one it looked at will be a target to the other curses" The Man said.

"How did you know I locked eyes with the Monster?.." Junhwo asked.

"We're the same... Anyway at 12am you'll wake up here in this Island on the place where the Curse was sealed. The other people who woke the curses will be there too. It'll last for an hour so do your best not to die" The man said as he stood up and lit his cigarette.

"What do you mean..?"

"Don't die there, even if it's just a dream" The man ruffled Junhwo's hair and walked away.

Inside their tents Junhwo and Ha-jun was talking.

"What time is it?" Junhwo asked.

"10:16pm why?" Ha-jun ask confusedly.

"Lets sleep"

'What if that Man was telling the truth... Then at 12am we'll wake up near the well'

12:00 Am.

"J-junhwo..." The voice of Hae-soo was sounding through Junhwo's ears.

'Someone is shaking me...' Junhwo opened his eyes and saw Hae-soo shaking him.

"Wha-what happened?.." Junhwo asked.

"I-i met a Man few hours ago, and he knew that this would happen" Hae-soo said.

"He warned me too" Junhwo stood up and looked around.

It was the same place where they saw the Smiling Creature. But where are the others?

Junhwo and Hae-soo looked down at the well but the Smiling Creature wasn't there anymore.
