The world had always been a lonely place for taehyung, the youngest in his family and the only male omega. His parents saw him as a burden, someone weaker and unworthy of the pride they placed in their alpha child . His elder brother, Namjoon, was the shining star, the heir to their family’s name, while his twin sisters, jisoo and jenni, were celebrated for their beauty and charm. Taehyung, however, was the shadow, invisible in their light.

From a young age, he had learned to swallow his pain and silence his cries. His family’s cold indifference chipped away at him until he no longer hoped for love or acceptance. He busied himself with chores, taking care of everyone’s needs, thinking perhaps if he worked hard enough, they would notice him. But they never did.
