The whiskey that he gulped down burning his throat. He stared out the large office window that faced the night life of the city outside. His dark eyes are cold and filled with barely contain anger at a failed business transaction.
And yet,it was nothing compared to the worry that he felt when he read the text message from his daughter's nanny.

Luciano stood a few feet away from the boss's desk, standing straight with a serious face, holding a tablet in one hand

"The 'business' that had gone slightly off had been taken care of by Leif. He had handled the traitor and spy among our men"
Caius Grivano
*raise an eyebrow*

"Leif? That's interesting"
Hearing one of his top tier subordinate name being mentioned pick his interest,but not enough to crack his cold facade.
Leif,or well known as a 'Psycho Executor ' was well known among his men and even the enemies as someone with 'unique' ways of dealing with unruly prisoners
For example,normal people would kill their target and dispose of them immediately but not Leif. He take his time to 'play' with his victims.
Like hanging them on the chandelier after he cut off their arms and stabbed their bodies. Or he just butcher them up into pieces and rearrange them in many colorful presents boxes and sent them back to their enemies
That's why when hearing Leif name being mentioned, Caius didn't questions further what had happened

"What about the delayed goods that were supposed to be sent today?"

""I had arranged for the goods to be picked up by our men instead of the transportation provide by them and will be arrived this evening "

Caius mind suddenly flashed to a certain waitress that he seen at one of his club. The Lunar Luxe,one of his legitimate business front.
That waitress caught his attention three weeks ago and he had Luciano had a detailed background check on her already

"What about that woman?"

*slightly stunned seeing his boss small smirk but quickly recovers*

"She will arrive shortly in 20 minutes. I also already prepare the necessary contract and agreement here"
Luciano put down a file with the contract in it on Caius desk.

"You may leave"
As Luciano retreat out of the office,his gaze slide down to the file on his table. His hand open it to reveal a clear profile of a woman.

"Noelle Marshall..."
Sudden Encounter
She try to keep a calm face as she was escorted through the hallway by a man in a suit that introduced himself as Luciano.
The man beside her walk without a word, leading her to the boss office.

"Umm..excuse me Mr Luciano..."

"Just Luciano is fine fine Miss Marshall"

"If it wasn't too much..may I know what kind of person is Mr Grivano is?"
She ask,somewhat nervous. It wasn't because she was scared to know about the man who is rumours to be cold and heartless but instead,she was curious to know about the man who had extended a hand when she was in a tight position. Offering her ridiculous offer that seems too good to be true.

"Is he... always this generous with his employees..?"

*stunned at the question but quickly shake his head qnd smiled*

'She don't need to know that the boss had his own motives whenever he made euch a deal'

"One thing I can tell you is please do not think badly of Mr Grivano. He's..not what he looks like on the surface"

*raise an eyebrow in slight confusion*

After that, silent befall them both as they continue walking until the stop in front of Caius's office.
Luciano straightened up and lift up his right hand to knock when suddenly the door burst opened, revealing an angry woman storming out and bumped into Luciano arm as she storm out of the office.
