Those months were amazing, because of the spring, the roses were beautiful and gorgeous. It was almost time to buy the place that would be your flower shop. However, your college tuition was late and that's why you didn't know what to choose.
Working overtime to keep your plans firm was the best option at that moment. Although she lived in an orphanage and there were good people, they weren't the best option to call family.
Yunna couldn't wait to come of age and then be able to leave him there.
- I want 15, please! - said a man with a woman by his side.
They were both well-dressed and the man was very confident next to the girl.
- 200 dollars, sir.
He spoke simply and a little embarrassed, because the man was spending all that for a woman who seemed to have no interest.
- Here! They're beautiful in your hand! - the man paid.
- Thank you very much, sir. Yunna spoke happily, because the man's words seemed like a compliment.
- Just don't stand near the road, okay? - the man said suggestively, pulling her wrist.
- Um, yes... sir! - he answered awkwardly, because it wasn't common for someone to care about you.
It was always easier to sell roses in front of Jeon, a famous restaurant in his city.
- Mr. Jeon, don't hold those roses! Aren't you allergic? - said a security guard, walking towards his client.
- Oh, it really is! I forgot! - the security guard didn't let him finish his sentence and then took the flowers from his hand.
The big man was coming towards the young woman, because he thought Yunna was purposely promoting her boss badly.
- You can't sell anything here in front of the establishment. - The security guard said.
- Sorry! It's okay! - she said, moving away from the big man.
- STOP! There's no problem with that! - Mr. Jeon said, pulling the young girl away from his bodyguard.
- I'm sorry, sir. - The big man said, bowing and then leaving the room.
Jeon calmed down and then apologized to Yunna.
- I'm sorry, he's hired to keep me safe and keep the bad guys away from my back.
- Maybe that's why he doesn't know how to differentiate someone bad from someone who looks innocent like you.
At that moment, you realized you were talking to the owner of the restaurant, Jeon.
Yunna knew that a very rich man named Jeon owned the building, but she had never seen him in person.
- It's okay, sir. - Yunna said, looking at her fingers, because she hated drawing attention.
Now, her roses were crumpled on the floor due to the scare that Jeon's bodyguard had given her.
- Really, forgive me. - Jeon noticed that the roses were crushed.
- Okay! - The young woman said, a little downcast.
Not even a seller likes to invest in a product and not have profitable returns.
- Here! This should be enough to pay! - Jeon offered a few more dollars for the last crushed roses.
- Okay! Thank you very much. - She said, leaving, as she could no longer stand being exposed.
After that day, Jeon Mingi could not stop thinking about Yunna. Mingi liked women with an innocent and hard-working face. That's why the man searched for Yunna around the city for a long time.
Since he was a powerful guy, he used his knowledge to find the flower seller.
In a meeting
- Sir, we have already found the young lady. - said Jeon Mingi's butler.
Mingi almost fell off the chair he was sitting in. Jeon could have any kind of woman whenever he wanted, but the desire to fulfill and conquer a thought he had projected was more intense than anything.
Yunna had awakened a protective and masculine side in Mingi and this feeling was wonderful. He had never gone out with a woman like that.
- Where does she live? - Mingi asked, adjusting himself in his chair.
- She is a resident of the bankrupt Miguel Orphanage.
When his butler pointed out that the Orphanage was going bankrupt, Mingi realized that he had a great opportunity to get closer to Yunna.
He was willing to do anything to have her in his arms.
In the following days, he could not get her out of his head. Who was she? Where did she come from? What was she doing on that street that day? These questions consumed him. He knew nothing about her, not even the sound of her voice, but the impact of that brief encounter was undeniable.
On the third day, he stayed in his restaurant for hours, even after finishing his appointments, staring out the window, waiting, with an anxiety that was not typical of him, for her to appear again. And he stayed there on the fourth, fifth and sixth day. Always attentive, searching for that figure that now inhabited his thoughts.
Meanwhile, his mind wandered. He imagined what it would be like to talk to her, hear her laugh, know her story. There was something about her – something he couldn't describe – that made him feel like he needed to find her again.
"It's ridiculous," he muttered to himself as he adjusted a glass on the counter. "I'm obsessed with someone I don't even know."
But he couldn't help it. Every time his thoughts escaped to her, he found himself more determined to find her.
Jeon Mingi tried to be passive and wait for fate to help him with his new obsession. Mingi went to his luxury restaurant several times at the same time to find her. He stayed in his restaurant for hours, even after finishing his appointments, looking out the window, waiting, with an anxiety that was not typical of him, for her to appear again.
Mingi was a powerful and influential guy. That's why he had already hired people to help him find the young girl. Yunna was about to experience something new and exciting. She was a woman who needed adrenaline. Jeon, being a little dangerous, attracted her. After she left the restaurant entrance, she couldn't help but think how interesting Jeon Mingi was.
Yunna: Yunna, you can't have any of that... a man like him doesn't like women like you- that's what she thought.
It had been a short time since her last visit to the orphanage. Yunna had to grow up early, because the orphanage was going to go bankrupt.
In order to avoid hardship, Yunna had to leave. The orphanage where she lived had been taken over by others, and the real owner could no longer afford it, so he passed the orphanage on.
It seemed like a curse; no one could support that orphanage, because the investments were high and the government had cut funding.
But, like a perfect dream, Mr. Jeon, a very famous businessman, decided to take on the expenses.
Some said it was a way of promoting himself to society, and others said he was a good man.
He was like a present father, his relationship with the children in the house was pleasant and he always brought gifts.
Seeing this, Yunna realized that she had missed the best part. For her, Jeon Mingi was an untouchable man. She would have to go back to where she came from and surrender, because she couldn't afford to support herself.
When Yunna left the orphanage, she thought she wouldn't be able to deal with being abandoned again.
She thought: If they go bankrupt, where will I go? I need to rent a house. But things got so difficult that she couldn't live independently. So Yunna went looking for a job and a better home. The young woman just wanted a job, but when she realized it, she was already getting involved with Mingyu, the owner of the orphanage.
It was early and Yunna was already awake. Today, he would return to the house where she grew up sadly. Now that Jeon Mingi had paid off all the debts that the old family had generated, the orphanage was in a very tight spot. You expected him to just ask for your resume, but when you sat in front of the big man, you felt cornered like a poor worker.
"Why did you run away?" he asked. He was holding both of your shoulders firmly. With great joy, you were accepted. But, without realizing it, you became very close to the man.
- Are you running away from me? - Jeon Mingi asked.
- I would never do that, Mr. Jeon.
- You are a good man! - she said.
- It's raining heavily! You better come in!
- We are serving hot chocolate. - she said, pulling you closer.
- Why do you care so much about me? - she asked.
- You are one of the children from my orphanage. - she said, running her hand through your hair.
- I'm not anymore! I left 6 months ago. - she said proudly.
- I only work here!
- After you took over the orphanage, more employees were needed. I soon accepted the position, don't you remember?
- No. - she said, looking at the gate.
After they enjoyed their snack, without Y/n realizing it, she was already sitting in the chair in her boss's office.
- It's funny to know that you like coming here. Our children think it's cool, because you're famous and busy.
Y/n was so innocent. Jeon Mingi was a very busy man, but he was interested.
Mingi died laughing, just thinking that he was there simply because he wanted to.
- I like your brothers. - he said simply.
- They're not my brothers. - It was a simple conversation, but Jeon Mingi was already aware of where it would lead. He was completely in love with Yunna and he needed her.
Yunna never imagined that she would return to the orphanage she once called home, but fate seemed to have other plans. When she met Jeon Mingi, the new person in charge of the place, she didn't know what to expect.
He was cold and serious, with a presence that made even the most confident people hesitate. But there was something in his eyes, something that she couldn't decipher.
What Yunna didn’t know was that from the first moment he saw her, Mingi was fascinated. She was unlike anyone he had ever met before: so naïve, so needy, yet so determined. He knew she had been through so much, that she carried invisible wounds. And that drew him to her more than he cared to admit.
On quiet nights, as the orphanage fell asleep, Mingi would find himself thinking about her. About her soft voice, how her eyes avoided his when she was shy, and how she seemed so vulnerable yet so strong. He wanted to be the one she would trust, the one she would turn to in her darkest moments.
“She needs someone to protect her, someone to guide her,” he thought, as his thoughts grew more and more intense. To Mingi, Yunna was like a delicate flower in the midst of a storm, and he was determined to keep her safe—in his arms.
Whenever he met her in the hallways or in the courtyard, he made a point of approaching her. Even when there was no need, he would find an excuse to talk to her, to watch her cheeks flush under his watchful gaze.
“You look worried,” he commented one late afternoon, as she sat alone in the garden.
Yunna looked up quickly, surprised to see him there. “Oh, it’s nothing… I was just thinking.”
He sat down next to her, keeping a respectable distance, but still close enough for her to smell his woody scent. “Thinking about what?”
She hesitated, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her dress. “About life… about the choices I’ve made.”
Mingi tilted his head, his eyes never leaving her face. “We all carry burdens, Yunna. But sometimes, sharing the weight can make everything easier.”
She fell silent, unsure of how to respond. There was something in his tone, something that made her feel small and protected at the same time.
“If you need someone to listen, I’m here,” he added, his voice low, almost mesmerizing.
“Thank you, Mingi.” That was all she could say before she looked away, her cheeks burning.
He smiled slightly, pleased. Every little reaction from her felt like a triumph, a step closer to winning her over. Because deep down, he knew that Yunna was all he wanted. And he was willing to do whatever it took to make her realize that, too.
It was the penultimate week of Christmas and everything was very tiring. Yunna had a new job, but she also worked for Jeon Mingi. She was one of his maids and served him very well. She was the highest paid maid in the house and had the freedom that the other employees did not have.
Jeon Mingi, who was in love with her, allowed her to go out when there were festivities in the city where they lived. So when the young woman had the opportunity to go out and live a little, it was always very intense and fun.
...[Post Festival]...
Hmmmm - Yunna complained, because she felt something heavy on her body. It was already morning, but she didn't need to wake up so early, however, she was woken up. It was so annoying when, boom, Mingi's dog, invaded the room wanting the young woman's attention. Yunna had told him a thousand times not to climb on the bed, because his paws might be dirty.
- My love, I already asked you not to come here. - She said, stroking Pam's head, which seemed very big at that moment.
- But at least you smell nice... you almost look like a human. - Y/n had a habit of talking to the dogs in the house.
It was easier to talk to him than to her boss, Jeon Mingi. With the dogs, Yunna always looked down, but with Jeon, she had to look up and speak a little louder, because you always stuttered.
Yunna was only there because the salary was great and she needed it to pay for her future nursing school.
She had to stop stroking Pan's supposed head when she felt two large, rough hands touch her neck.
Yunna had never felt anything like that. She was sure it was a dream or her mother stroking her like she used to do when you lived with her. Your mother would pinch your neck so you would wake up quickly.
Yuna: hyu... - she couldn't pronounce a single syllable.
Jeon Mingi, the man who gave you your first, was lying on your bed and his face was on your belly.
Yunna: Oh my God!... I didn't do anything!! - She freaked out silently.
Yunna: Yesterday I came back from the restaurant with my friends, I folded Mr. Mingi's clothes and... - Yunna was thinking about thinking, but it was difficult with a large body on top of her.
With each passing moment, Mingi snuggled even more on the bed.
Yunna: I... I put... I PUT TOO MUCH DIRT ON THE RIBS I MADE YESTERDAY. - now you couldn't feel good.
Jeon Mingi had made it very clear to Yunna about the rules in the contract she signed. He was very demanding and didn't trust many people, although he needed the help of some people.
Some of his employees didn't have a room to sleep in, but Yunna did. Because of this, many of them thought unpleasant things about the young woman, that is, she was trying to seduce their boss. They also didn't cook his food, because he was afraid that someone might do something bad to him.
Given this, Mingi was a very calculating and meticulous man. And knowing that he had trusted her so much and she had wasted that trust with a mistake was frustrating. Because Yunna didn't want to lose her job. The man was moving around a lot in bed. He had changed position and was now facing Yunna.
The young woman felt his breath hitting her face. For a moment, she seemed to have heard him say her name, but that would be too crazy for that moment. To her surprise, Mingi had gotten out of bed. Yunna pretended to be asleep until he left the room.
Jeon Mingi: Wow! - He said like this, after he stretched.Yunna could hear his voice, but it was incomprehensible, because it was very hoarse. The young woman would pretend to be asleep, as she had thought.
Furthermore, she would stay that way until Jeon Mingi left the room and slammed the door. However, her plan went wrong when she heard the following sentence come out of his mouth:
Mingi: My God, how beautiful. It's a shame she's so clumsy. - he said laughing.
With that, the man pulled the blanket and then grabbed her right foot. When he did this, the young woman's heart beat faster, but she soon calmed down when she felt the man's hand massaging her foot with affection.
However, the place where she was being massaged hurt so much that she didn't know how long she would continue acting like a sleeping princess.
Yunna couldn't lie, she was loving all that attention. His hands were big and rough and made her shiver all over, because the massage was strong.
Maybe it was wrong, because it would fulfill all the assumptions and ideas that those employees had about you.
But, as nothing is perfect for a poor young woman in a rich city, you felt a cold wind pass between your legs. Then, you soon realized that Mingi was no longer in the room.
Yunna: Has he left yet? - you asked yourself
Yunna: But what if he comes back? Should I take my bath and start my homework? - she was confused and her head hurt.
Yunna: My foot!! - she complained in a low voice.
Everything in her body hurt, Yunna didn't know where the pain came from and she couldn't remember anything from last night, only lunchtime.
Once again, she had to lie down and close her eyes tightly, because Jeon Mingi had come back into the room.
He was such a big man for that room, it looked like a dollhouse. His perfume was taking over the room and was getting impregnated in her pajamas.
Jeon Mingi: Yunna! - he spoke a little quietly, because he was taught not to wake anyone with violence or brutality.
