Emma's POV: We've been together for 2 years, and I haven't even met his family. Today is the day my boyfriend, Carl, will introduce me to his family! Hope they would love me.
*At the venue, the house of my soon mother and father-in-law.*
Mother in law

*Carl and I walk inside the house.*
The house is a bit big, I could say that they have wealth. It's very warm and cozy inside, they also have many stack of books beside the old television.

Carter didn't say anything, just continue eating.
Carl snapped, he suddenly grabbed Carter by his collar.

Carl punch his older brother on the cheek.
Father in law

*I stand up from my seat, walks up to Carl and held his trembling fist.*

Stop dear, let's take a breath of fresh air, hm?
*Carl let go of his brother and followed me outside.*

Carl are you ok? What happened? Why did you snapped out?
Carl
That sick-headed bastard— Stay away from him.
Emma
But he's still your brother, you shouldn't fight each other.
Carl

I know you grew up with a lot of siblings, but trust me, this is a different situation.
*After several months, Carl's family has grown closer to me. They never fail to invite me to parties and activities.*
