Shattered Lust

Episode 1: the perfect illusion

Scene 1: A Dream of Forever

The episode opens with a serene setting—a quiet park at sunset. ARVIN (20s, kind-hearted, and hopeful) sits on a bench with his girlfriend, LILA (20s, beautiful and confident). They're holding hands, laughing softly as the golden sunlight bathes their faces.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"They say love is the most powerful force in the world. It makes you believe in forever... even when forever is nothing but a lie."

Lila leans her head on his shoulder, her voice soft and tender.

Lila:

“Promise me, Arvin. No matter what happens, you’ll always love me.”

Arvin (smiling):

“I promise. No matter what.”

She looks into his eyes with a gaze so genuine it almost makes him nervous.

Lila:

“And I’ll always love you. You’re the only one who sees me for who I really am.”

The scene fades out with their laughter echoing, creating a perfect illusion of love.

---

Scene 2: Cracks in the Mirror

The next day, Arvin is seen walking briskly through the city streets. He’s holding a small gift bag, his excitement evident in his hurried steps. He pauses outside a cozy café, adjusts his shirt, and checks his watch.

Arvin (muttering to himself):

“Two minutes early... not bad.”

He steps inside, scanning the room for Lila. His face lights up when he spots her at a corner table. But his smile quickly fades. Lila isn’t alone. Sitting across from her is a man Arvin doesn’t recognize—a tall, well-dressed stranger with an air of confidence.

Arvin’s POV:

Lila and the man are laughing. The man leans in, whispering something in her ear. She blushes and brushes a lock of hair behind her ear—a gesture Arvin knows all too well.

Arvin clenches the gift bag tightly, his fingers trembling.

Arvin (whispering to himself):

“Who the hell is he?”

---

Scene 3: A Silent Storm

Arvin leaves the café without confronting her, his mind racing. He finds himself wandering the streets, the sounds of the bustling city drowned out by his thoughts.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"She told me I was her world. That I was the only one who understood her. Was it all a lie? Or was I just blind?"

He sits on a park bench, staring at the gift bag in his hand. Slowly, he opens it, revealing a delicate necklace with the word “Forever” engraved on the pendant.

His phone buzzes. It’s a text from Lila.

Text from Lila:

“Running late! Be there soon. Can’t wait to see you ❤️”

Arvin stares at the message, his grip tightening on the phone.

---

Scene 4: The Confrontation

Later that evening, Arvin arrives at Lila’s apartment. She opens the door with a bright smile, but it falters when she sees the expression on his face.

Lila:

“Arvin! What’s wrong?”

Arvin (coldly):

“You tell me. Who was he?”

Lila (feigning confusion):

“Who? What are you talking about?”

Arvin pulls out his phone and shows her the photo he secretly took at the café. Her eyes widen, and she takes a step back.

Lila:

“You followed me? That’s insane!”

Arvin:

“Don’t turn this on me, Lila. Who is he?”

Lila hesitates, then sighs, crossing her arms.

Lila:

“Alright, fine. His name is Caleb. So what? He’s just a friend.”

Arvin:

“A friend doesn’t make you blush like that. A friend doesn’t hold your hand when you think no one’s looking. Do you think I’m an idiot?”

Lila’s expression hardens.

Lila:

“Maybe if you weren’t so predictable, I wouldn’t need someone else to make me feel alive!”

The words hit Arvin like a slap. He steps back, his face pale.

Arvin (quietly):

“So this is my fault?”

Lila (coldly):

“Maybe it is.”

---

Scene 5: The Breaking Point

Arvin walks out of the apartment, leaving the gift bag on the floor. The camera focuses on the necklace inside as the door slams shut.

Arvin wanders the empty streets, his expression blank but his eyes burning with fury.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"I gave her everything. My trust, my heart, my soul. And she destroyed it all in an instant. But she doesn’t realize... she’s shattered something inside me too. And when the pieces come back together, she’ll regret ever breaking them."

The scene fades to black, with the ominous sound of shattering glass in the background.

Episode 2: A Wound That Festers

Scene 1: The Weight of Betrayal

The episode opens with Arvin sitting in his dimly lit room, the necklace from the gift bag resting in his palm. He stares at the word "Forever" engraved on it, his expression blank but his eyes filled with pain.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"I thought love was a promise. Something unbreakable. But it’s fragile... just like trust. And when it breaks, it cuts deeper than any blade."

He clenches his fist around the necklace, his knuckles turning white. Slowly, he opens his laptop and begins scrolling through old photos of himself and Lila—pictures of their happiest moments. He hesitates, then deletes them all in one swift motion.

As the sound of the delete notification fades, Arvin closes the laptop and leans back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.

Scene 2: Seeking Answers

The next day, Arvin meets his best friend, MARCUS, at a small gym. Marcus is a loyal and blunt friend who always tells it like it is. Arvin is furiously punching a heavy bag as Marcus watches with concern.

Marcus:

“You’re gonna break your hands if you keep hitting like that.”

Arvin (through gritted teeth):

“Maybe that’s the point.”

Marcus grabs the bag to stop it from swinging.

Marcus:

“Look, man, I get it. She hurt you. But this? This isn’t gonna fix anything.”

Arvin (snapping):

“What do you know about it, huh? You weren’t the one lied to, the one made to look like a fool!”

Marcus stays calm, his tone firm but understanding.

Marcus:

“No, I wasn’t. But I’ve seen what revenge does to people. It eats you alive, Arvin. Don’t let her have that power over you.”

Arvin doesn’t respond. Instead, he takes a deep breath and throws another punch, harder than before.

Arvin (muttering):

“She took everything from me, Marcus. Everything.”

Scene 3: The Mask She Wears

Meanwhile, Lila is seen at a high-end bar, sitting at a table with Caleb. The atmosphere is elegant, the lighting soft and warm. Caleb exudes confidence, his charm almost overwhelming.

Caleb:

“So, did you finally tell him?”

Lila sips her champagne, avoiding Caleb’s gaze for a moment before responding.

Lila (with a shrug):

“More or less. He knows about us.”

Caleb smirks, leaning back in his chair.

Caleb:

“Good. The sooner you cut him off completely, the sooner we can focus on what really matters.”

Lila hesitates, her confident demeanor faltering briefly. She looks at her glass, swirling the champagne inside.

Lila (quietly):

“To new beginnings.”

They clink glasses, but the camera lingers on Lila’s face, showing a hint of guilt beneath her composed exterior.

Scene 4: A Hidden Truth

Later that evening, Arvin sits at his desk, his laptop open. Driven by anger and a need for answers, he begins digging into Caleb. Using his tech-savvy skills, Arvin gains access to Lila’s social media accounts and private messages.

The screen flashes with messages between Lila and Caleb. Arvin’s eyes scan the text, his jaw tightening with each line.

Message 1 (Caleb):

“Does he suspect anything?”

Message 2 (Lila):

“No, he’s clueless. Just keep playing along.”

Arvin leans back, his mind racing. He notices pictures of Lila and Caleb at fancy restaurants and luxury events—places she always said she couldn’t afford.

Arvin (muttering):

“Who are you, Lila?”

He digs deeper, finding a transaction history tied to Caleb. The records show large sums of money being transferred to Caleb’s account from a mysterious source. Arvin’s eyes narrow.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"She wasn’t just lying to me. She was hiding something bigger. Something darker."

Scene 5: A Dark Resolve

The episode ends with Arvin standing on the rooftop of a tall building, staring out at the city below. The wind whips through his hair as he clutches the necklace in his hand.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"I loved her. Trusted her. But now, all I feel is this burning emptiness. She thought she could break me and walk away unscathed. She was wrong. This isn’t the end. It’s just the beginning."

The camera pans out, showing the vast city skyline as the screen fades to black.

Episode 3: Unraveling the Mask

Scene 1: The Calm Before the Storm

The episode opens with Arvin sitting in a dark room, his eyes fixed on his phone. He’s analyzing every message and every detail of Lila’s interactions with Caleb. His mind is racing, a whirlwind of anger and betrayal.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"I thought love was about trust, about honesty. But now, all I see is lies. And lies have a way of unraveling everything, piece by piece."

The screen shows a new message from Lila, marked "Unread." It’s a simple text.

Text from Lila:

“Can we talk? I’m sorry, Arvin. I didn’t mean for it to end this way.”

Arvin stares at the message for a long moment before deleting it without a second thought. He’s done being the fool.

---

Scene 2: The Plot Thickens

The next day, Arvin meets with Marcus at a local café. Marcus notices the tired look on Arvin’s face, the weight of the past few days clearly taking a toll.

Marcus:

“You still haven’t talked to her, have you?”

Arvin (sighing):

“No. I can’t. Every time I think about it, I just get... angry. I don’t even know who she is anymore.”

Marcus stirs his coffee, his face serious.

Marcus:

“Listen, you need closure. Even if it means confronting her. You’re not gonna move on unless you get the truth, the whole truth.”

Arvin looks away, conflicted.

Arvin:

“Maybe. But what if the truth is something worse than I already know?”

---

Scene 3: The Face of Betrayal

Later, Arvin goes to a local bar, hoping to clear his head. He sits in the corner, nursing a drink. But his eyes remain sharp, scanning the crowd.

Across the room, Arvin spots Caleb laughing with friends, his demeanor cocky, unbothered. The sight ignites something dark inside Arvin. He can’t just sit back anymore.

Arvin walks over to Caleb’s table, his face a mask of calm determination. Caleb looks up, surprised at first, then smirks.

Caleb:

“Arvin. Didn’t expect to see you here.”

Arvin doesn’t sit, keeping his distance.

Arvin:

“We need to talk.”

Caleb raises an eyebrow, his smile never faltering.

Caleb:

“About what? Lila? I thought we were past all that.”

Arvin (voice low, controlled):

“I’m not talking about her. I’m talking about you. I know what you’ve been doing. And I don’t appreciate it.”

Caleb’s smirk falters for a second, but he quickly recovers, leaning back in his chair.

Caleb:

“You don’t know anything, Arvin. So how about you walk away before you make a bigger fool of yourself?”

Arvin’s eyes narrow, his fists clenching by his sides, but he doesn’t act impulsively.

Arvin:

“I’m not going anywhere until you explain what’s really going on between you and her. What the hell do you want from her?”

The air grows tense. Caleb leans forward, his expression turning serious for the first time.

Caleb:

“Lila isn’t your problem anymore. I suggest you remember that. You’re just a part of the past. And in the end, it’s me who wins.”

---

Scene 4: The Breaking Point

Arvin turns and walks away without saying another word. His heart pounds in his chest, but there’s something new in his eyes—rage, but also a cold determination. He’s no longer just a victim of betrayal; he’s ready to take control.

Outside the bar, Arvin stops and takes a deep breath, his mind racing. He knows he needs to find the truth, but he also knows that Caleb’s involvement goes deeper than just a fling with Lila. There’s something else going on.

Arvin (Voiceover):

"Caleb’s too smug, too confident. He thinks he’s won. But this isn’t over. I won’t let it be over."

Arvin looks at his phone and dials Marcus’s number. As the phone rings, Arvin’s gaze hardens.

---

Scene 5: A Dark Alliance

The next day, Arvin meets Marcus at a secluded spot by the river. Arvin is more determined than ever, ready to take his next steps.

Arvin:

“I need your help. There’s more to this than just Lila and Caleb. I don’t know what, but I’m going to find out.”

Marcus looks at him, understanding the intensity in his eyes.

Marcus:

“Alright. I’ve got your back. But be careful. You’re playing a dangerous game, Arvin.”

Arvin’s face hardens as he gazes out at the flowing river.

Arvin:

“I’m done being careful. It’s time to make them pay for what they’ve done to me.”

The episode ends with Arvin and Marcus walking away together, the weight of the future ahead of them heavy on their shoulders.
