On a cold winter's night

A busy weekend on the city made almost every person to go to a special Christmas fair which is opened once a year. Almost everyone was extremely excited to enter the Christmas fair that the guards are trying to stop others to enter through since the Christmas fair was still not open.

By 12:00 at midnight, the Christmas fair was open! People ran inside to see the biggest Ferris wheel, a huge merry-go-round of horses (I don't know what it's called), and many more fun rides and attractions, even food parks.

A white car on the road a bit far from the Christmas fair was running fast, the family Inside the car was hurrying to go to the Christmas fair, their daughter named Bora, a young 5 years old girl is a birthday girl. She was born in Christmas and her parents always say proudly"Bora is a gift from Santa Claus.

Her father drives the car, Her mother was giving her a gift, a small box wrapped in light pink wrapping paper and a red ribbon was tied beautifully on the gift. Young Bora unwrapped her present, and it's a cute watch, Bora looks really happy, and she smiled happily to her mother, "thank you momma!".

She wore the watch at her wrist and she stared at it happily.

It's 12:30, and they were late for the giant Christmas tree lighting and fireworks. The car drove faster and suddenly, another car was slipping through the ice, and it hit their car.

There car spun round and round uncontrollably and metal and glass breaks and separate, the car jumped upside down leaving her parents dead.

Bora opened her eyes to see her parents dead. She got so horrified, and she cried, she untied herself from the seatbelt, and she cries harder to see her parents dead and lifeless.

She woke up and sees herself on a hospital bed, the doctors are surprised that she has no bruises or a damage even a small bit.a nurse went inside her hospital room to assist Bora.the nurse also have a announcement.

"I have bad news"

"what is it?"

"Your parents are...dead"

....

Bora was now on a graveyard with some people all wearing black clothes, a deep hole was dug, and they bury the 2 coffins with dirt.

The death of her parents showered her with sadness and loneliness

She remembered all the happy memories they created together

But, now they are all gone.

Bora watched the 2 coffins getting covered with dirt until it cannot be seen, her most loved relatives, the only family she had were gone...

...

She was sent in an orphanage, Bora entered her new room.

She opened her trunk to see many happy memories in it.

Her mother's childhood dress that was passed down to be hers, a journal her father gifted in her 3rd birthday, a heart shaped locket from her mother containing her mother and father's picture in it, and the watch, the only last gift her parents have given her.

She received her uniform attire, a plain gray dress with a white collar.

She wore it and started her life as an orphan.

Bora waked up early in the morning

today was her first day in the orphanage, she get ready and she wear her new orphan uniform and head downstairs with the other orphans who was also going downstairs to eat their breakfast.

Bora ate breakfast with the orphans and others noticed the new orphan, and they whispered and giggle.

Bora was annoyed, are they laughing at her?she tried to ignore them and focus on her meal.

The headmistress arrived and everyone suddenly got quite, she is miss T.

She looks strict, Bora says in her mind.

After breakfast, they were going upstairs to start their classes, Bora met a girl named Nari.

"Hi, I'm Nari, who are you?"

"I'm Bora"

"Nice to meet you Bora"

The teacher named Mr. Pork, the fattest teacher who teaches science make each student introduce themselves.

"Hi, I'm Aera"

"your favorite?"

"My parents!"

"Hi I'm Bong"

He introduced himself, everyone introduced themselves.

"I'm Nari and I like flowers like lilles"

"I'm Bora, and I'm the new orphan "

"I guess that's it, let's start the class"

He discusses everything about science "matter is anything that takes up space and has mass"...

...

It's now afternoon and classes ended

they already ate lunch and Bora and Nari was now talking about themselves.

"Bora, how come you became an orphan?"

Bora suddenly remembered the vision of her parent's bloody faces and there terrified looks when they died.

"They died in a car crash"...

She became friends with Nari.

And they have a lot of fun

After 3 days, Bora found out the money her parents have kept in the bank was stolen. She was shocked, their last remaining money and wealth were all gone...

When she was going to eat breakfast, she saw a black skinned girl about the same age as her wearing black dusty and ripped dress. She also sees the way they treat her, like a slave.

She felt concerned about the girl, and she's planning to visit her in her room tonight

...

It's dark and everyone were asleep,Bora tiptoed out of her room and she went saw the rusty old creaky wooden door,she opened it and saw the black girl inside the room, the room was dusty rusty and cold.

"w-what are you doing here?

You are not allowed here, you might get into trouble!"

"it's okay, I came here to see you"

"why?"

"I just noticed the way they treated you"

"You don't need to be concerned "

"I noticed you haven't eaten all day, are you hungry "

"yes"

Bora took out a bag with bread in it

"I sneak it out from the kitchen"

"but you might get into trouble ,they might have seen you"

"don't worry"

Bora handed her the bag

"thank you so much"

"what's your name?"

"Dae, you?"

"I'm Bora"

"you should go back to your room now, miss T checks every room by 12:00"

"okay"

Bora went back to sleep in her own room, still wondering why they treat black people like Dae slaves.

Early in the morning, Bora got dressed and head downstairs to eat breakfast with orphans like her.

She sat down at the chair and Dae appeared wearing the same clothes, and she served food for them.

Bora wanted to talk to Dae but they orphans are forbidden to talk with Dae by miss T .

Miss T taught them to ignore people in need, Bora found it very unfair.

Miss T doesn't know one thing, it's"equality, which means everyone needs to be treated equally.

After their classes, Bora saw Dae mopping the stairs and an orphan who was a about 4 years old are running through the stairs that he fall, miss T came to see the little boy crying with a wound on his knee.

Miss T got angry she slapped Dae on the face.

"How dare you make him fall!you did it on purpose, isn't it!?"

"I swear, I didn't!"

"Stop with your stupid lies!" miss T pulled Dae's ear

Bora cannot take it anymore

"Miss T, Dae didn't do it! I saw Dae didn't do anything about it, the boy just slipped down the stairs because his running!".

"Who are you to meddle on our business!"miss T said angrily, "go in your room!"

Bora felt awful for Dae but have no choice but to get upstairs to her room

Her friend, Nari visited Bora in her room.

Bora told Nari about everything she knew that miss T was so cruel and heartless and that poor Dae doesn't deserve this.

"Your right Bora, it was totally unfair that Dae is not treated any good ".

Bora told her that she'll visit Dae again

"can I come too?"Nari asked

"Yes, of course, but you have to stay quiet"

"Alright!"

It was night, Nari and Bora went out their own rooms to visit Dae.

They went to the door of Dae's room and went inside.

The room was still the same but colder

they saw Dae laying on the old mat on the floor, curled into a ball because it's so cold.

"Hello again Dae"

Dae stand up and sees them.

"Who is She?

"she's my friend,Nari"

"nice to meet you Nari "

"nice to meet you too"

"We're here to give you something"Bora announced as she gave Dae a coat and a blanket and some hot soup they stole from the kitchen.

"Thank you so much what should I do to repay you!"

"We don't need to be repayed, but we can be your friends"

"I would love to but what if they found out?"

"No, they won't"

They tell funny stories about each other, and they have a lot of fun

It's 11:50, and they should go back to their beds for now

They wave each other goodbye

and they went back to their rooms to sleep .

Bora went inside her room,a lamp on her desk,she completed her homework before going to sleep.
