[She grabs her bag, puts on her headphones, and heads to college, ignoring any messages from her family.]
Isabella walks into the college campus, trying to avoid familiar faces. She settles in the campus garden, sitting alone under a tree. Moments later, Sophie Harper and Emily Clarke spot her.

[Isabella hesitates, looking down at her hands. Then, with a shaky voice, she starts speaking.]

Adrian… he’s marrying Juliette.
FL BFF: Emily Clarke
(shocked): What? But you two—

(voice breaking): He said he loves me, but he won’t fight for me. He chose his family over me… and now, he’s going to be Juliette’s husband.

(furious): That coward! I always knew there was something off about him.

(soothing): Bella, I’m so sorry. That’s… awful.

(crying): I don’t know what to do. I feel like I’ve lost everything.

(determined): Here’s what you’re going to do: forget him. He doesn’t deserve you. And Juliette? She should’ve fought for you, too.

(rolling her eyes but smiling faintly): Fine. I’ll come. But only because you two won’t leave me alone.
