Hello I'm Angela and Im a professor at Kangim medical University. One day when I was going on my way home I met an old lady on the street,she had torn clothes and was very bad in shape and health, then one of the street cops went towards her and started scolding her I said to her

:"Hello grandmother, did I make you wait for a long time."

The cop was surprised and rushed away after apologizing

I took the grandma by hand to my home, showered her and gave her some clean clothes to wear then made food for both of us to eat, she thanked me a lot and then I let her sleep on the bed and I slept on the couch on the livingroom, you might be asking why Im doing that?, well it's because I was raised in an orphanage and I know what it's like to be alone, not knowing where or how you would be the next day, so I couldn't just let her be because my inner self won't let me sleep comfortably at night.

The next day

I had to go to work so I prepared her food and left it for her on the table, and wrote a note with a sense of worry because she might not be able to read or write, so I called for my university and asked for today to be off and they agreed because I never took a day off before, I'm the committing type of person, I waited till she woke up and told her everything she needs to work her way through the house,the grandma asked me

"aren't you scared that I would steal your valuable things"

I told her:"Im not, I've got nothing valuable as you see and I can't really save up....... Oh nvm that but anyway you are free to do whatever you want and stay for however long you would like" , I took my notebook after saying that and started preparing for the next upcoming lecture in my room, I was really into work so much that I didn't realise that 4 hours had passed, and I smelled a delicious smell so I went out of my room check what was going on, I found the grandma preparing food for both of us and I can't really tell you anything about it other than it was super tasty as it's smell or even more, i helped her with the dishes and we spent a lovely time together at the table watching a funny channel on TV and laughing together, for the first time I felt what it mean to be a family and was from total stranger that untill now I know nothing about.

After we ate I washed the dishes and we played chess together, turns out she can read, write and has huge experience in herbal traditional medicine,we spent the lovely days together happily and she passed her experiences down to me, I was happy being with her and every one around the neighborhood thought that she actually is my grandmother and we're really happy for me..... I had really enjoyed my time with my grandma. She was nice and caring. She taught me many things like cooking and sewing. I really enjoyed my time with her.

Why am I speaking in the past tense?. Because one day after a couple of months of her stay with me when. I had gone back home but couldn't find her at all. Not even a note was left behind. I was devastated that I didnt wait and went out to look for her everywhere. I called the cops and they helped me to search for her. But there was no hope. We couldn't find her even after searching for too long. It's like she vanished from earth without a trace.

I didn't have the sensation of having a family before and when I finally get It I loose it way to soon. I called the university and informed them that I will be taking a week off. They agreed but asked for the cause but I was to angry to answer them and just shouted while tears fell out from my EYES"ITS NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS...... Ugh I'm sorry but I'm just not my self these days and I need some time off "

The person on the other line was in shock in a while but he got the grasp of it and accepted my request.

3 months had passed since grandma dissappeared. The police denied her existence as she wasn't even recorded in their documents. Maybe this woman is crazy that was written on all their faces but they tried to hide it as it was rude to be said outloud or they just denied that conclusion because I was a professor. It didn't matter to me either ways. I had some expert draw her for me and made posters then published them everywhere for the following two years.

My salary has tripled since then and I moved to a more comfortable place but went to my old place and cleaned it once per week because I was hoping that she would come back.

I didn't know her name or who she was but I knew for sure that something happened and that Is why she left. Whenever these thoughts came to me I would push it away hoping for the better not the worse. It's been two years and three months since she dissappeared though. At this point even I'm beginning to loose hope as the others.

I had decided that this would be the last time I would go to clean my old Apartment and then I would say farewell to this dream for once and forever.

When I reached the apartment I opened the door then went inside to clean it as usual.... To be continued.
