There is a girl called Chae Soo Bin living in the middle of Seoul, South Korea. She is a daughter of a wealthy family. Both of her parents are in fact have royal blood in some way.

Chae Soo Bin is mostly called Bunny due to her having soft sensitive physical features and her gentle nature. She is the only daughter of the family and therefore she is very well loved. Nevertheless, Bunny is never spoiled. She is compassionate most of the time and loves her family very much although she has a hidden mischievous cunning nature inside which also in a good way too, and nevertheless for her being a gentle lady we will call her Bunny for the rest of our story.

Bunny has one best friend Lim So Hyang who is from a very low middle class background. So Hyang's father is a middle school teacher. Her mother died since she was very young. So Hyang's father loved her dearly too since she is his only child...she is all he has left after his wife passed away. However, he still sometimes couldn't understand her high spirit and energetic way. Her nature is very strong willed and free. She is ambitious to do the best in her studies. Yep, she yearn for a very high future for her self. Her father is a family oriented conservative and not very as high spirited as his daughter has ever been and so is his late wife. Nonetheless, father and daughter love each other so much.

It is a surprise to others that how can the gentle Bunny and Lim So Hyang became friends. But the two friends respect each other a lot.

It is one sunny day when our story start. It is a Sunday when Bunny and So Hyang meet due to their meeting appointment for going where abouts in the city.

The two girls enjoy walking around the busy city passing lots of high buildings very much. And then it is near late afternoon that Bunny says

"Hey, Hyangi lets go into this department store...I want to use the rest room".

Suddenly, the girls can hear and see the gang of men chasing a young man about 25 with pink hair...

" Hey. Dude stop now!"

But the young man is running very fast and suddenly disappear from sight...and everyone on the area who witness them just ignore it and go back to their personal doing.

Bunny and So Hyang go inside the Central Republic Department Store.

Bunny goes inside to the rest room while So Hyang desides to wait outside because she see something she want to buy for her dad....

Bunny is alone in the restroom.

Bunny is about to go inside to use one of the toilet room within restroom when suddenly grabbed by a male hand. She is about to scream but the man closes her mouth her mouth with his big hands. And says, "Please miss, I won't do any harm..please be silent..". Bunny stay quiey. Then Bunny hears men voices saying ...

"Where is that pink brat...he need to learn a lesson..not to interfere with our business..."

"I see him coming toward woman restroom.."

"Where is he then .."

"There is only one door closed"

So they come near toward Bunny and the pink guy room. But then Bunny suddenly open the toilet door and seems really scared as she sees the gang. The gang look around but see on one apart from Bunny. So they all go out.

After sometimes, the pink haired man comes out. He seems to be saying thank you to Bunny ...but Bunny is feeling very numb now. She is tired from the sunny sun outside. And she is facing something she never expected. She feels herself falling down. She can hear the man saying "Miss, are you ok?." His voice is very gentle. But then everything goes black.

"Hey, Bunny, are you ok?" It is So Hyang voice. Bunny gains her conscious back and stands up. Many people are surrounding her. They are still inside the department store and in front of the grand restroom. Bunny just smiles to everyone and people just go on their own way.

So Hyang says, "Would you like to go see a doctor?..or maybe you are exhausted.....umm..I am sorry I let you come alone..I thought you took to long so I come to restroom...but then I found you lying down here unconsciously..."

"I'm ok, So Hyang.. let's just go back home. I need a rest."

The two girls just walk on. But the pink haired man is still looking at them from a far..saying to himself. " Why is she so sensitive?"

Back in her room. Bunny is still thinking about the incident why lying on her chair beside her bed. She can still remember that actually the pink haired boy is a handsome one..his voice is so gentle, but what is his problem with that scary gang?

Then, Bunny hears the call on the door. Her mother comes in...

She looks very serious..

'Bunny! How are you, sweety'

'Im ok mom" Bunny answers and just put her arms around her mother..

Then her mother says..

" I have something to tell you, your aunt, your dad's sister says she needs to take you to the palace tomorrow. The king and queen want to see you. You remember the royal marriage we talked about right..sweetie!.

Bunny is very surprised.

Bunny is overwhelmed by her mother statement about the royal marriage. She remembers when she just passed her high school, at the age of 17, her parents used to tell her about her engagement to the crown prince. The late King and her grandfather were friends. They shared a lot of knowledge in common. Bunny's ancesters has been well known philosophers of Korea for centuries.  Some of them have been priministers of the countries and had worked in parliament. However, they had not much had deep relationship with the palace people if it had not been for the country welfare or politic issues.

The late King, the father of current King had been well known for his special wisdom and kindness. Besides, he only had one wife who bear him an only son for the throne. He had long been friend with Bunny's grandfather and they respect each other very much. The late King was very fond of the her family.  Therefore, before he passed, he had make this request the current King to asked for Chae Soo Bin's hand in marriage for his elder grandson who is in next line for the throne. The current King agreed to do so.

"But mother," Bunny says, "I have never met the crown prince. What if the prince doesn't like me at all, what if he already have the woman he loves. Besides, I might not fit for the crown princess role".

To this her mother replys, "My dear daughter, don't think too far, please go and see the prince and his family. Since both the prince and you are single, why don't you try to work for the attachment. Maybe you both will fall in love. It is a promise of our elders."

There is a silent.

Her mother continue, " if the outcome is not very good ...then we can discuss that later. But look at the King and Queen. They also married with parents arrangement. But they formed respect and attachment. Maybe you and the prince will do the same thing too."

Bunny thinks to herself, "who will know"

So the next day, both her parents and her visit the the the royal vacation house at the near end of the city.

The royal vacation house is a big household although not as big or grand as the the royal palace in the city. In fact, it looks actually more cozy; more like a living home. Still it is surrounded by a big garden.

The servant tells Bunny and her family to wait in the luxury living room.

So they sit and wait while admire the art of architecture for the building which is built in a European style.

Not long after, her aunt and another lady arrive. They are both relatives of the queen. And they are both unmarried and are cheerful. All sit and talk while waiting for the Queen.

Bunny's aunt, Mi Mi, and her cousin Mi Yeon, are laughing while talking about the royal driver for the palace that have to pick them up is so fashionable with a pink hair.

"Youth, whatever they do look great."

"Hehehe, yeah"

Bunny's head is up a bit when she hears pink...

Then, the Queen comes in.

Of course, she does not wear anything like on how media shows. Her dress is a lot casual.

The queen is indeed calm humble and intelligent person. But she does ask a lot of questions including about Bunny's education and her interests. It is interesting that both the Queen and Bunny love reading and artistic things that are classic.

When all the greetings and questions are overall. The Queen invites them to dinner for the next evening.

"Let's party dinner this coming Friday night. Both his majesty the king and crown prince Siwan and his brother,who is just graduated from the USA are coming. They are not here today because they have work abroad. They are flying back to Korea tomorrow."

It is 2 days to Friday. Bunny is very busy. She has to practice for the royal dinner. She has to SPA. She has to try on the beautiful dresses that her aunts bring to her.

The evening before the dinner party, Bunny and So Hyang meet for evening talk. Bunny tells So Hyang about her fate. So Hyang shook her head. Arrange marriage is not ideal for her. "But I wish you all the best", she says at last.

To which Bunny reply, "I just go to see him."

At the royal dinner, the younger prince is absent due to his personal matter. The crown prince Siwan is very elegant and handsome. He definetly possess the features that many women adore. But still, he look really serious.

The King look very matured and elegant as well. And the Queen look very beautiful despite her age.

The king and Bunny talk a lot. " Yes, these days technology is even getting a lot more developed. We would really like the young prince Seokjin to manage in the area since he graduated with Engineering. And our crown prince is doing so well with international affairs."

He continue, " we would like to have him have someone who can ease his tiredness. Someone who will look after the household for him. Or maybe someone who can help him with his work" And he and Queen smile.

Her parents, the King and Queen all talk. Prince Siwan also speak up to sometimes when it is necessary. But he doesn't even glance at Bunny. And Bunny is the one who is the most quiet person. She feels out of place somehow.

After the dinner is over, everyone is going to the library room. But Bunny asks to stay behind in the living room, saying she feels sick somehow.

The two servants girls accompany her in the living room.

From them, Bunny learns that Prince Siwan used to have a girlfriend whom he loved dearly. But for some reason she married another man. Since then the prince busied himself with work.

But then there is a call for the two girls from the kitchen. So Bunny just let them go.

When, she is alone, Bunny's tears pour down. She look up at the big great beautiful room. But can she be really happy here? Does she really have to marry someone who did not even glance at her once? Probably, he will never be able to fall for her or even like her. Yep, she felt very sick. But suddenly, someone calls her..

"Hey, miss, is this yours?"

Bunny somehow feels familiar to the voice. It is the man from the restroom. He is holding her beautiful gold hair pin.

Bunny is amazed to see the pink haired stranger in the royal vacation house. How is he associated with the royal family?

But then she is so embarrassed to be found in this state. Her tears are still on her cheeks.

She then asks in a high voice.

"Where did you find it? And how do you know it's mine?"

"Well", begin the man, "it's because it matches your dress perfectly. It doesn't look like not being belonging to anyone. and besides your hair are hair is loosen a bit"..

And then he grins.

Bunny take her pin back..."thank you"

"No problem"

"By the way I haven't thank you for that day.....and I must really apologies for scaring you in that way.,...", he continue..

But then her phone rings.

It is her mother. "Bunny, are you ok, please come up to the second floor."

"Ok mum"

Bunny turns to the man..."I've got to go now"...

She then just go up straight to the stairs.

He just stand there looking at her and smiling and sigh....

" It's disappointing.." he shook his head with a slight laugh.

Chae Soo Bin, Bunny is called to choose a gift from the Queen. It is actually one of the korean traditional artistic crafted little box. Bunny loves it so much. She loves artistic ornaments either they are cute or classic. She even had her collection. She even keep looking at her gift when she gets back at home in her room. But when she thinks about the engagement, she sighs. Is it really happening? And also who is this pink haired guy. What does he do on the palace? Is that pink haired driver that her aunts talk about? And why was she so shy in front of him which is why she turned away from him so quickly even when she wanted ask him a lot of questions. She looks at her hair pin, which he pick up for her. How did he can figure out it is hers...

Bunny finally puts these thoughts aside and goes to sleep.

Let us talk about this pinked hair man. He is called Kim Seokjin or Prince Seokjin, the second prince of modern Korea. He is not the son the Queen however. He is in fact, the son of the King's mistress, who is making her living in the north America by her fashion designing shop. The King would sometimes visit her and his younger son there. The two wives of the King never met although the Queen is acknowledged of this fact. She was very devasted. Nevertheless, when the late King, had called the younger prince to come to live in the palace and study there, the Queen had let the prince stayed with her son, crown prince Siwan and even treated him like her own child. The brothers bond grew strong. However, after his secondary school, Prince Seokjin went back to live with his mother and study in America...but then he had been traveling back and forth between America and Korea.

Prince Seokjin has a passion for music. While studying in University in USA, he had formed a music group with six of his Korean friends who love music dearly. They called themselves BTS which stands for Beyond The Scene. They performed on University stage in parties that many Asian students gathered, those who enjoy Korean pop. They were not really professional in this field (in reality they are, but in this fanfic they are not). He even had composed his own song. Prince Seokjin missed old days with band mates so much. They went through quite of adventures as naughty university Asian boys. After graduated from University, went their own way. His friends mostly persued careers abroad.

Then, finally, he is back Korea. And working for one of the biggest traditional museum of Korea, in which we can see a lot of korean historical crafts in many eras from history. He works as one of the engineer who look at the building computer system for he graduated in that field as his mother had wished for him. He has faked his identity while working there because he doesn't want to live like a prince. Only the manager knows about this.

One day, he was back from work, he sensed a gang was beating a couple who couldn't give back their debts in a narrow street. His younger spirit came back. So he messed up with the gang. Of course he knew he might not won. So he just ran until reaching to a crowded place. He happened to hid in a women restroom. At the time he didn't think much except to escaped. He now felt a little sorry for what he did to the delicate young lady. She seemed scared of him.

Why is he keep thinking about the lady? She was even here at the palace. Is she the fiance of his brother? What a pity. He thinks a lot before he finally goes to sleep.

That night, the rain is heavy.

The next morning comes. It is a sunny morning.

It is at Lim So Hyang, Bunny's best friend cozy house. So Hyang's father is drinking coffee downstairs. Upstairs, So Hyang is busy with make up. Today, she has an interview for a new job at a historical museum. She wants to look back. Finally, she is done with make up and chooses the beautiful dress her father had bought her for her birthday. She finally happy with her reflection in the mirror.

She goes downstairs,

Her father comments

" Wow, you are really very beautiful lady"

So Hyang blushed. When she finally done with her breakfast, she kisses her father goodbye.

"Good luck dear" her father smiles her So Hyang hurry out of the house.

So Hyang is waiting for a taxi. Suddenly, a luxurious car passed with high speed. There are still some water on the street because it rains last night. So when a speed car goes passed So Hyang, the road water splashed up to her dress.

So Hyang is very angry. She swears

"I will give you a lesson if we ever meet."

She remembers the car number in 5 digits..
