The plot will follow the original plot but it will have a little bit differences. I don't mean to insult any of the characters, this is just for entertainment purposes only! we will have to start the plot in this chapter as the system won't allow me to get into the next chapter unless the word count reaches 500 words. (ignore the grammar mistakes please.) and also I wanted to write this ff in Wattpad but somehow it couldn't create an account for me and I tried multiple times too and even tried from a different phone, if there are people who writes stories or fanfics on Wattpad please tell me about how to do it.

. Ling Mengmeng's POV

As I went to home from work with my twin sister Miaomiao I was very tired and I knew Miaomiao was feeling the same. We lived together in an apartment ever since our father died. Even tho we were twins we had a total different appearances with different personality's but we still shared the same activities but even tho we are like a total two different worlds, like the day and night, Miaomiao is a cute, cheerful and silly girl but likes to stay at home and zone out while looking at the fishes meanwhile me on the other hand, indifferent and a cold ice queen that likes to draw, to sing secretly that only my sister knows. But somehow I only share the sense of bonding with my sister, don't know if it's because we are twins or that whenever when I'm with her, I feel secure. Just when I was in my own world, Miaomiao called me.

"Meng, why are you so quiet??? Are you tired of me now?? you don't like your baby sister anymore??" she said while being dramatic and cute.

I don't know why but I chuckled at her cute behavior. If you are wondering at why she called herself "a baby sister" to me is because I was born 20 seconds earlier than her so I'm practically I'm older than her but I don't really like mention that I'm older but she always takes the advantage of being the younger, such like asking to styling her hair or telling her the novels or the mangas and manwas that I read a lot. And also we both like reading novels or manwas and mangas a lot to be honest. We always read our favorite author's books after our work.

"Of course not" I said while petting her hair. "Why would I be tired of the most cute and silly girl that's also happens to be my twin sister?" I said while raising one of my eyebrows and smirking. She just snuggled to me and hugged me tightly while giggling cutely.

"I knew it. I have the best twin sister ever. And also I can brag to the others that I have a beauty queen twin sister."

"Yeah yeah whatever." I said while rolling my eyes playfully.

"So I heard Fu Thou released his new book. Wanna read it with me?"

. Ling Mengmeng's POV

"So I heard that Fu Thou released his new book. Wanna read it with me?", I said knowing that our favorite author releasing his new book would make Miaomiao beam with excitement.

"Fu thou really released his new book?! Oh. My. Gosh! we should read it right now." Miaomiao has waited long for Fu Thou to release his new book.

"Sure but only after we get home."

"ok!"

we arrived at our apartment, I prepared a dinner for us and for no reason, I kept zoning out. I don't know why tho. Anyways, after dinner, we got to read the new book online. After reading it (I don't know how long it's been), I could tell Miaomiao was disappointed. The plot was really something that I didn't expect Fu Thou would write.

"This is really outrageous! I refuse to believe Fu Thou wrote this!" Miaomiao exclaimed dramatically.

"Calm down, maybe he had a change of scenario or something." I said while trying to calm her.

"This is so absurd, is it really the work of Fu Thou? Is he trying to fool the fans for money too? I'm so disappointed in him."

I sighed. "I mean..it is indeed a bit absurd, the plot is really twisted. I also didn't expect Fu Thou to write such a thing as one of his works." I said while staring at our father's picture and I didn't pay much attention to what Miaomiao was doing. I turned to Miaomiao as I saw her writing a comment.

"What are you trying to do?"

"Writing a feedback about it. I cant stand still and do nothing about it." I turned to read what she was writing.

"Such a cheesy romantic novel. Its a romance novel dressed in a fantasy guise but the romance part is also lousy. The official couple is so stupid. The plot relies entirely on the vicious supporting actresses. The book might as well be called The legend of Lin Yu and Lin Ye. The main storyline is thin with flat characters. The novel is so absurd. And the author just gives everyone a tragic ending. What's the difference between this ending and a scam?"——Quick post.

I was a bit dumbfounded. Miaomiao write this much feedback about the book and its full of words about the lackings of the novel.

" Did you really have to write this much? Are you really going to post it?" I asked with curiosity.

"Ofc. Why wouldn't I post it?" She said while clicking the "quick post" without hesitation. That's when I noticed the computer glitching. I looked at Miaomiao.

"What's wrong? Why is it glitching like this?"

"I don't know. What's going on with this computer?" She said while checking the computer which was glitching a lot. And suddenly the screen was blinding and I couldn't see anything by the light of the screen as well as Miaomiao.

And the next moment, I found myself in a place..well room maybe. I don't know. It just looks all ancient. Is someone filming here? I also noticed I was wearing traditional or ancient or maybe both clothes. Is this a joke? Well at least the clothes are pretty and cute. A girl came to me with her head lowered, she was also wearing some ancient clothes. Well I guess this is indeed some filming going on here. But the problem is what am I even doing here? Wait..where is Miaomiao? Please may god bless Miaomiao. And me. Both of us. I stared at the girl a bit dumbfoundedly, waiting for her to speak.

"Miss Ye, your father told me to inform you to not go out of your room at the moment as its dangerous and not to interrupt the demon catchers and your sister Miss Yu." She said while not even looking at my eyes.

"Excuse me? Who are you?" I asked while leaning a bit closer to her.

The girl seemed a bit lost for words and finally looked into my eyes when I said that. She looked at me weirdly, almost...a bit frightened? I don't know. Suddenly she ran away while screaming.

"Miss Ye lost her memories! Please someone help Miss Ye!"

"...what?" I mumbled to myself while being frozen in my place. All I asked was who she was. Why is she so dramatic?

"Hello host"

"Holy moly!" What was that? My eyes literally darted everywhere. Where did that voice come from? I was nearly scared to death!

"You have entered a parallel world based on Catching Demons alongside with your twin sister Ling Miaomiao. From now on, you will be County Magistrate's daughter, Lin Ye." The voice spoke from nowhere but I still listened.

"Lin Ye? The older twin of Lins? The villain? Alongside with Lin Yu? What the hell?"

"You have to clear the game to return to the real world. You must meet the following two conditions to clear the game:

First, complete the main quest and survive until the end by helping kill the resentful woman.

Second, complete the hidden quest.

Both conditions are essential."

"What if I think its totally ridiculous and don't want to do it?" I asked while taking a small mirror in my hand and gazing at my reflection.

"You have no choice, dear host. You will be stuck in here forever if so. And if you try to escape, you will get thunderstruck, the pain is real but the death isn't. The more you try to escape, the more you get hurt. Choose carefully, dear host."

"hmm...what about Miaomiao?" I asked curiously.

"Your sister is facing the same situation right now. Your sister's role in here is Lin Yu. And she will have to fake marry Liu Fuiyi to catch the mirror demon."

"ok..as long as she doesn't get hurt."

"I cant give warranty for that, dear host."

"What?!" I jolted from the chair that I just sat. How come? There is a chance she can get hurt? No way, I'm not going to let my baby sister get hurt from this game.

"I will do as you say. But first, lead the way to where Miaomiao is." I said being determined.

"Your wish, my command. Dear host."
