As the chairman, he’s responsible for overseeing a massive empire, but his busy schedule came at a personal cost. He didn’t have much time for his daughter Bella, especially after the sudden passing of his wife, Emily. Although he cares deeply for Bella, his work often pulls him away, and he struggles to balance his career with his role as a father.

"It’s been just Dad and me for as long as I can remember. After Mom passed, he threw himself into his work—Carter Technologies became his everything. Bella feels a knot in her throat. She’s always known her father’s love, even if he doesn’t always show it in the way she needs.

As a doctor and a businessman, he’s created a legacy for himself, founding Black Enterprises and making it a household name. William has always been busy with his company, and though he’s tried to be a guiding figure for Alex, his absence left Alex with a sense of independence and a desire to prove himself.
