Yuki's eyes widened at the sudden crying of a baby she was holding. She was almost surprised to remember that she did not have a baby. She was about to stand up while still holding the baby but she realized that she was only sitting at the top of a high wall. She leaned against Deiji. Her roommate. Unable to stand, she just rolled her eyes.

She saw a nightmare she'd never imagined would even happen in real life. A bunch of zombies are trying to eat them. With that, a flashback came into her mind with scenarios of how they ended up in that kind of situation.

MICHELLE burst into tears when she turned on the television in their room. This is because it says 'no signal' even though it's already time for her favorite anime series.

"Maybe it's just because of the antenna." Michael tried to calm her twin sister, Michelle.

"Our television says you can't be here, Michael. It's a girls dormitory for Pete's sake. Why the hell are you always here?" Deiji teased Michelle's twin.

What they were staying in was a dormitory that was only for women but Michael always slept in their room. The boys' dormitory is located in the other building.

"Am I your favorite toy, Ate Deiji? Why am I always the one you were teasing?" Michael asked as he moved the antenna of the television for her twin sister.

Yuki just laughed as she quietly listened to the three of them while she was getting ready for work. She is a hotel keeper not far from their dorm and she is now here for the fourth month. So far, she loves the job and the place she works because the salary is high and she saves a lot. The husband does a good job and does not neglect them. She just wants to help her husband because the kids are growing up and they haven't saved for their children's future yet.

"Don't scatter my things, please." Yuki raised her hand and pretended to be begging the twin who was always tampering with her belongings whenever she was away for work.

"Michelle always wants to mess with your drawer because she says you always have chocolates hiding in your belongings." Michael even pointed his finger at her twin sister.

"You too. You're the one who bites bigger than me!" Michelle pointed back her finger to her twin brother like a kid.

"Ahhhh!" The three looked at Deiji because of his sudden squeal.

"Why?" Yuki immediately asked her.

"There's no WiFi signal. In addition, I checked the data on both my SIM cards. There's still none." Deiji complains to Yuki.

All of them looked at the TV, which was showing 'no signal'. The three of them hurried to pick up their respective phones to check the signal.

"I don't have either." Michael said, still looking at his phone as he fiddled with it.

"Me too." Yuki spoke softly to them.

The four of them looked at Michelle with a questioning expression. She slowly shook her head with a shrug. The four stepped out of their room to ask the others. Later, they suddenly heard a loud explosion from outside along with various loud shouts from different people.

People rushed out of the dorm to see and peek at what was going on outside. They all seem unaware of what is going on.

"Michelle, hold my hand." Michael said suddenly because he felt that something bad had happened.

Michelle held the twins' hand as they followed Yuki and Deiji who were now leaving the dorm.

"What's up?" Yuki asked another dorm colleague who had arrived earlier than them.

"We don't know either. All of a sudden they're running away." Madrid replied. Nanay Pasing's right hand in preparing their food.

It pointed to people who appeared to be scared, running in the other direction. They seem to be from the direction of the gate of Sitio De Villasarza.

Deiji climbed into a hollow block to clearly see what's happening.

"Ate Deiji, take care. You might fall." Michael reminded her while still holding the twin's hand.

He didn't know that the girl was living in a squatter area outside the Sitio and was used to climbing walls and trees.

From above, Deiji watched. She thought that she could see everything clearly from their room on the third floor if they weren't too curious and came down. She saw people rushing toward where they were. She stares at the backs of those people who are still running to find out what kind of thing they're running for. She even wonders how a strange looking guy is running and following a frightened woman. She tried to narrow her eyes even more so that she could see what it looked like.

She was shocked when a man jumped from the side of a woman and bit her on the neck. As the man suddenly raised his head with the skin and flesh from the woman's bitten neck, Deiji's legs began to tremble even more. She was so weak and in a hurry to get down that she almost fell. Fortunately, the twins and Yuki were able to quickly catch and support her.

"What's up?" Yuki asked her with a worried face.

"Run..." Deiji said weakly and it seemed that she was having a problem breathing. Everyone in the dorm looked at her and wondered how she was behaving.

"Run!" Deiji finally shouted and then pulled Yuki and Michelle by the hands, while Michael was still holding Michelle's other hand.

The three were surprised but they didn't object. They just followed Deiji's lead who also looked frightened. They wonder what Deiji saw back then to make Deiji nervous like she is now.

After she shouted, everyone's faces were filled with worry and wonder. While tightly holding her friends, Deiji peeked at the other colleagues in the dormitory. Even though she was still running, she paused when she saw them still standing and stared at them.

The three also stopped and looked at her and at what Deiji was looking at. They are a bit far away now. Their eyes widened simultaneously. All of a sudden there were a bunch of people who seemed to be completely crazy and not in the right mindset who rushed into their dorm mates.

"What the hell?" Michael cried out in shock and fear.

They were even more frightened by the blood that flowed from the parts bitten by insane people.

The four continued to run. Faster than before. Now they know that something is wrong with people and those around them. And they need to run away from those crazy people to save themselves.

Because of the unpleasant incident that happened to their dorm colleagues, they are discouraged, but they know they must move on. They are disappointed in themselves because they can't do anything to help them but watch as they die slowly and turn into psychopathic people.

"Ate Yuki, what's going on?" Crying and terrified, Michelle asked Yuki who was also thinking about what was escalating around them.

"I don't know." Yuki answers inadvertently.

"Just keep running." Michael told his twin sister and tightened the grip on her hand even more to calm her down.

Almost half an hour of running they saw the end of Sitio Villasarza. It has a 6-7 feet tall wall and at least 2 feet wide.

Several people had already climbed the wall to escape whatever disaster lay ahead.

"Climb up there!" Deiji shouted at the three because of the excessive noise around them. You will hear a mixture of screams, shouts, and the cries of children.

"Too high." Yuki advised because she knew that she couldn't climb anywhere high without a cling.

"Michael, you're first." Deiji called Michael and positioned herself.

Straightening her back, she leaned against the wall and bent her knees. She crossed his fingers and put them in front of her.

She did that so Michael could easily climb up.

"I can't leave Michelle here." Michael declined.

"You're not planning to leave her idiot! You're the one who's gonna pull us up." Deiji hurriedly explained to Michael.

She thought she was going crazy because of what she had witnessed. In her mind they should climb faster or those psychopathic people will catch up. Even Michael was hesitant, he pulled back and then he ran and stepped on Deiji's hand then stepped his other foot on one of Deiji's shoulders. But due to no experience in such things he was stocked on Deiji’s shoulder which caused Deiji’s shoulder and back in pain.

One hand seemed to be offering help to Michael so he immediately looked at it.

"Michael, hurry up!" Yuki shouted at him as she saw how hurt Deiji was.

"Glenn." Michael murmurs and grabs his classmate's hand.

Deiji took a deep breath when Michael's weight disappeared.

"Michelle it's your turn." Yuki gently pushed Michelle towards Deiji who was positioned again after a quick stretching.

"Hurry up, they're already here!" Michael shouted from above.

Michelle hurriedly stepped on Deiji's hand and tripped over her shoulder. Glenn turned back to them and helped Michael pull up his twin sister.

"They're coming." Glenn said softly when he saw bloody people running towards them in a hurry. But it was enough for Yuki and Deiji to hear.

"Yuki!" Deiji yelled at Yuki to wake her up. She realises that Yuki isn't in her mind right now because of what Glenn said. She seemed to be thinking again about what would happen to her if she was caught by them.

"Yuki!"

Three simultaneous shouts of "Ate Yuki!" brought her back to reality. Yuki widens her eyes and wants to slap herself because she's wasting time for the safety of Deiji who will be the last to climb because of them.

"Sorry." Yuki apologized then stepped on Deiji's palm and stepped on her shoulder.

She reached for Glenn and Michael's hands in front of her who were waiting to pull her up.

She was surprised when Deiji suddenly shoved her upwards. After getting up, she was stunned to see a man who was bloody and looked like his skin was torn suddenly rush toward Deiji.

"Deiji!" Yuki shouted in extreme nervousness.

Fortunately, she was able to avoid the onslaught of the man who did not seem to be in the right frame of mind.

Deiji took a stick near her and slapped it in the face. She was shocked that it did not affect it but the wood cut off instead. To her shock, she was unable to move her leg to avoid the next attack, so she just closed her eyes.

Deiji waited for a bite from the man as she could see them doing it to others. But she felt nothing. In no time, she opened her eyes and saw that Glenn had kicked it away from her, which had now come down from the wall.

"You first." Glenn told him then imitated her standing position so that friends could climb.

She just nodded then moved away a few steps to speed herself up. She even signaled to her friends to move aside and she would go up. Before she turned around she saw the bloody woman coming towards her so she ran and stepped on Glenn's palm then stepped on his shoulder up. Unlike Michael, she climbs effortlessly.

Michael and Deiji placed their hands on Glenn to help him up. But Glenn refused and then approached the man who rushed to Deiji.

He grabbed it from behind and tossed it against the wall. Glenn first waited for the woman to stand up and then he ran and jumped a step behind it and climbed without difficulty.

The four breathed a sigh of relief when Glenn climbed up.

"Uwuah!" They all looked at the baby close by.

They see a woman who they think is in her 30's. She was carrying a baby that they thought was her child. The woman cried at the same time as the baby cried while looking down below them.

They were almost depressed when they saw a man trying to climb the wall but couldn't because he was being bitten and eaten by crazy people.

Michelle hugged Yuki out of fear and sadness.

Later on the man they thought was the husband of the woman holding the baby suddenly fell down.

"He's dead." Glenn calmly says it towards the girl holding a baby.

The woman and baby cried even more which led to many crazy people trying to find them and struggling to reach them.

The girl was bitten because her foot was only hanging on the wall. Glenn was disappointed because of it. In his mind, it will also be a zombie because of what he sees and reads. Nevertheless, he was uncertain, since he wanted proof from the man who had recently died.

He sat down and faced the other direction so the zombies would not reach him. The three imitated what he did. Michael is sitting beside Glenn and Michelle is sitting beside his twin brother. Deiji is also sitting beside Michelle as Yuki is still looking at the crying mother and its child. She misses her own children.

Yuki was seated beside Deiji when Glenn suddenly stood up.

"Why?" asked Michael to his classmate.

"That man got up and turned into a zombie." Glenn pointed out the man who died a minute ago.

"Zombies?" they all asked in surprise.

"What do you think is happening?" The man asked the four. The man asked the four.

They didn't want to believe it but it was as if there really was a sudden zombie outbreak in Sitio De Villasarza.

"And I think it's only inside Sitio De Villasarza. So, our family outside is safe." Glenn said as he turned his gaze away from where they were.

Unlike inside Sitio de Villasarza, there are no signs of explosions or fire. Yuki looked at the woman who had been bitten earlier. The girl also stared back at her.

The woman cried, "I'm going to turn too, aren't I?" She asked sobbing. However, the five remained silent which caused the woman to cry even more.

"Can you hold my baby?" the girl asks Yuki.

There was no second thought. Yuki gently took the baby from her. The woman stood up crying.

"Please protect her." And with that, the lady jumps towards a bunch of zombies.

Zombies feasted on the lady who jumped a while ago.

Later, Glenn suddenly turned toward her.

"Let's go there." The guy told her and pointed to the edge of the forest.

Then she noticed that people had already crossed from the other side of the wall and were already walking in the direction that Glenn had pointed.

Yuki remembers the day her husband drove his car to take her to Sitio De Villasarza. There's a weird white and tall barrier around the Sitio made of iron. People are already walking in that direction thinking there's a way for them to escape zombies.

Yuki nodded, then woke up her colleagues. Yuki was relieved because they had another man with them to protect them especially since they were already carrying a baby.

"Why?" Deiji asked Yuki who seemed to have forgotten they were surrounded by zombies.

"Let's go there." Like Glenn told her earlier, pointing in the direction where people are heading.

"What's in there? Why are they heading there? Aren't we still getting rescued?" Michelle asked them quickly and repeatedly.

She was dizzy and still looked terrified of what had happened. Michelle's question led to a lull in the conversation. They were unaware of everything that was going on, and they also had no news from outside of Sitio De Villasarza.

"We don't have any signals. We can't ask for help." Glenn's calm explanation made Michelle cry even more.

"I think it's planned. It's fucking well planned. To lure us here, they offered high-paying jobs and cheap supplies, as well as low rent, electricity, and water bills." Deiji said you can tell the extreme grip on every word she says.

Deiji looked at the zombies below them then turned around.

"So we need to go there?" The girl asked again and then looked at her colleagues one by one.

They all looked at the baby when it suddenly cried very loudly.

"Let's go. They're all approaching here because of the baby's noise." Glenn shouted and then jumped and crossed the other wall.

He supports everyone, especially women. Michael was very jealous of Glenn. When compared to the two of them, Glenn seemed strong and elegant. While he was just a gamer who sat all day.

When they all got down they started to walk towards the barrier they had to cross to get out and escape the zombies. Being unaware, someone who had been bitten had crossed over from the other wall with them.

They have been walking for a few hours, but they haven't reached their destination. They have not eaten, have not slept well and not a drop of water has been drunk since last night. Their bodies were weak as they continued to walk inside the forest with the other people from the other wall.

"My foot hurts." Michelle's complaint.

"I'm hungry." Deiji also suddenly complained which caused three friends, Yuki, Michelle and Michael, to smile. They knew how greedy Deiji was when it came to food. She was 'dead hungry' as his dorm colleagues called him. And Deiji really loved how her friends gave her a nickname. Nevertheless, no matter how greedy she is with food, she does not become fat.

The baby that Yuki was holding cried very loudly again. She thinks the child is only 4-5 months old because she already has two children. This time it was louder and the child seemed to have no intention of stopping. They did nothing but stop to check on the baby's condition and to rest for a while somehow.

"The baby is hungry." Yuki gasped in shock.

"Told you, guys. These times are really hungry times." Deiji jokes with friends.

She wanted to lighten the spirits of everyone even though she herself wanted to escape hell.

"It's normal for babies to be hungry. It's not normal for you." Yuki interrupts Deiji to tease her friend.

"Oh!" They were all shocked when Glenn suddenly handed Yuki a chocolate with the brand burnburone.

"I had a date last night. I brought flowers and chocolates for my date. Isn't that what you girls want?" Glenn suddenly explained to the companions as they gave him wondering looks on their respective faces.

Yuki took the chocolates and lightly coated the baby's tongue to calm it down. It is forbidden to give it to a small child, especially an infant on an empty stomach, but they have to calm the child down.

"How sweet." Michael yelled at a classmate.

"So, where is she now?" He asked again.

"She was caught. I was just a minute earlier to the four of you climbing the wall. And I didn't get a chance to save her. She was bitten before I could react. I was such a coward." Glenn's explanation to them.

They all fell silent because of the awkwardness of their conversation. Glenn lost someone and they lost everyone in the dorm.

"Ahhhhhhh!" Everyone stopped walking and the five turned to the source of the shout.

The nervousness that they hadn't felt for a while comes back after they hear that familiar shout and scream. A cry mixed with fear and pain. Glenn steps forward to clearly look for the cause. He saw a girl biting someone's neck. A zombie. He whispered to himself.

"Run!" He shouted as he started running too. The five of them found themselves running again to save their lives again.

"What happened?" Deiji asks Glenn as they are still running together.

Michelle and Michael are at the front, still holding each other's hand. Deiji and Glenn are on Yuki's side to protect her and the baby.

"How?" Yuki also asked but Glenn couldn't answer yet because he was also curious if anyone infected had also crossed over with them unnoticed.

Glenn still wonders if it didn't turn early as it did for the man who died yesterday. Maybe it depends on how your body reacts to the virus before it can get through to your brain.

"There!" Michelle pointed in front of them.

At last they saw the very high white steel fence. It's easy to climb because you have something to step on and hold on to.

Because they were getting closer and closer, and more and more people were screaming and yelling at what they heard from behind, they accelerated even more.

"Stop!" Although they were able to reach what they wanted to climb, Deiji's clamor stopped them.

They looked at Deiji and saw her step back. She looked at those people who were planning to climb the barrier.

It shocked them to see that everyone who touched the iron had been electrified.

"Fuck!" Michael just shouted and then backed away. He thought his and Michelle's fingers nearly touched it.
