*(gasping)* "wait.... This is the novel! The mansion from *Love's enigma*!
How am I here?"
*A deep voice echoed from behind him.*
Elijah
"you're late, jaylen."

*"Why are you acting so suspicious"*

*I'm trapped in this world just like you. And so is Elijah. But there's something worse....."
Elijah
*(interrupting)* enough of your drama Luka, tell him the truth."
*Luka's eyes darkened. The truth began to unravel.*

"this world was created to trap us. I'm not the sweet artist you think I am. My real name is elysian. I was once a prince who was cursed to live in a never-ending cycle of love and pain. the novel? it's a prison. And everytime it resets we lose a piece of ourselves."
jaylen
*(in disbelief)* "so, the love story.... it's all just.... A lie?."
Elijah
"Not entirely. I'm not the cold CEO you think I am. I was once a loyal knight who swore to protect elysian.... But I betrayed him. And in my betrayal, I cursed both of us. Now we're bound by fate, forever chasing a love that's doomed to fail."
*jaylen staggered back, his head spinning. the story he had been reading was not just fiction --it was a twisted reality, and he had a part in it now now.*

" then why me? Why am I here? What's my role in all of this?"
*both Elijah and Luka locked eyes, and for a moment, it seemed like they were silently communicating something. Finally, Luka spoke.*
Luka
"you're the key, jaylen. You have the ability to break the cycle. You were pulled in because you can change things."
Elijah
*(gritting his teeth)*" but you must decide .do you want to rewrite our fates? Or will you leave us trapped in this endless loop?"
*jaylen felt the weight of the decision on his shoulder. He could feel the darkness of the curse in the air, but he also felt the undeniable pull to rewrite everything.*
jaylen
*(to himself)*"can I really change things? Or will I just make everything worse?"
Luka
*"we'll be with you, jaylen. No matter what choice you make, we'll stand by you."
Elijah

*jaylen stared at the two of them, at their broken past, their shared pain. For the first time he realized that being a side character in this world was not just a matter of fate. It was a matter of choice.*

"I choose.... To fight for you both."

*the mansion around him began to shift, the furniture warping, the chandelier flickering in and out of existence. He was no longer sure if he was in the mansion, or if it was just an illusion*

" I should go out for a walk....... Yeah, only nature can calm my heart now."
*in the garden after seeing Jayden, Luka stepped forward, his usual calm demeanor replaced by something darker, something burdened by secret.*
Luka
*(softly)* "jaylen, this power... It's dangerous. You have to be careful. It's not just a gift. it's a curse."
jaylen
"what do you mean? You said I could change everything---"
Luka
"you can, but every change you make, every step you take towards braking the cycle, will cost you the more you rewrite, the more you lose yourself in the process.*
Luka
*the power is..... Corrupted.
The more you use it, the more you risk becoming part of the curse you wish to break.*
