The Woman That Changed Me

1.No ones hand to hold

A young boy, getting kicked continuously by a tall father-like figure, looked at the man that spoke in an angry tone "You damn worthless brat! Ungrateful little sh**!" the boys face was dirty and had bruises, his head thrashing back hard against a wall as the man kicked his face over and over again.

The boy looked half dead, pale thinking to himself not letting out a word, loud breathes and small groans can be heard from the small boy that was beat up, sitting on concrete floor with his head feeling lighter by each second passing by.

The little boys nose was bleeding, his face turning blue and purple, his black, rough hair moving with his head as it bashed against the wall behind with each kick.

The older man bent down with a cigarette between his middle and index fingers. "I need to teach a damn ugly pest like you how to be grateful. I gave you way more food then you need and this is how you repay me? Starve for a full week you little insect."

The man gripped a handful of the small boys hair and waved his head around dramatically smiling with Rotten and yellow teeth being shown. *What is wrong with me? He's right... *The boy thought to himself with dull eyes giving no reaction to the old Man bent in front of him.

The man stood up and turned, facing a bright rectangular shaped light that Shone from a higher ground, stairs leading to that light, a door left open. That was the only source of light in the extremely dark room the little boy sat beat up in. The Older man made his way up the stairs and closed the door behind him. The boy had little thoughts. All thoughts he had was negative, the boy had gotten used to such a dark place he could see more clearly than others.

The boy looked down to see blood inbetween his legs on the floor. He touched his nose and figures that's where the blood came from. The blood on his fingertips dripping down his fingers. The boy feels more light headed and shifted his body to the side and lays down passing out a few seconds later.

When the boy woke up he was in his room, his room also dark like the other room he was getting beat in. The boy coughed from the he dust that invaded his room and opened the door for a minute, getting outside into the rest of his families home.

Instead of a normal families warm and sweet Welcoming, as he expected they insaulted him and pushed him towards chores not making direct eye contact. The tone in each family members voice cold and rude. Disgrace, mistake, disgusting, murderer, crass, pest, orc. Every name they called him by confused him and made him feel even lonlier.

The boy starts by washing a mountain full of dishes, his huge family sempt to have a big dinner. No wonder I had way more leftovers than usual.. The boy thought to himself.

1.No ones hand to hold

After hours of chores and a full day of work and recieving vulgar language, the boy finishes and returns to his room sitting in a dark corner, cradling himself looking to the ground sweaty and dirty.

"Hey! Raden you brat! Get over here!" A loud scream came outside his room, a shaky old womans voice screaming at the little Boy. The boy realized she was talking to him. His name is Raden oh yeah.. After all the Slurs hes been called Raden forgot his own name. A small 8 year old dealing with such abuse.

He slowly stood up and dragged his feet across the old, rotting wooden floor tiles making his way to a dark oak door. He slumped over to the woman shouting at him. "Wipe our shoes and set up the market. We lost a lot of money from last Nights dinner" The old woman, an ugly frown, short scruffed grayish-white hair, dark gleeming red eyes and dark spots on her face. The woman had old village clothes and was washing new laundry, her eyes low and tired.

Raden would slightly nod at her and barefoot, walked over to the pile of shoes in the corner of the room, staring at the Big wooden tub of soap water.

He kneeled in front of the tub with the shoes on his left and started washing each shoe with a scrubber left in the tub for him. Afterwards he rinsed his hands and set up a marketing stable outside in the main towns marketing area, his feet sore from the extremely hot bricks, Thorns and twigs he stepped on.

"Older brother." Raden looked to his right calling out to a teenage boy. Frizzed dark brown short hair, more Tanned skin and light brown eyes.

His brother who looked down at him, rolled his eyes before fixing his attention to the fruits and monster skin ensuring that there will be enough for the day. The older brother flicks Radens head, "hey. Shoo you little Orc. Get lost." raden flinched slightly at his brothers actions, his heart tearing more violently even though his heart sempt to be overflowed with gasoline ready to be burnt already.

Raden walked away making his way towards a specific house, not his families. He walked on the side of the brick path on the shaded sides until he was met with a closed sign hung over a big door on a house made of mostly flowers. A cute little girl with blonde hair, light purple shiny eyes, flushed cheeks, half glasses on her face, a sown up dress with a dirty white apron and long eyelashes opened the door with a bright smile Imediately having her mood boost when she saw him. She sprung towards him, hugging Raden tightly repeating his name, "Raden! Raden! Raden! Raden!"

This girl is the only person keeping me hesitant from ending it all. Raden muttered to himself quietly. "Speak up!" a serious demand made by the girl still clinging onto him even when he lowered his arms and hands.

1. No ones hand to hold.

"Sorry about your dog." Raden Said with a poker face. The girls mood saddening for a moment, "your sorry doesnt help." the girls voice covered her anger and sadness.

"I'm really sorry! I-i just don't know what happened-" Raden tries explaining himself before the girl intereupts him, "he was torn in half, his Guts literally spilled out. I'll never forgive that." Raden went quiet temperarily, "I don’t know how to do that. I promise I didn’t do anything!” Raden complained with a more sincere tone in his cradled soft voice. Before the two could argue further an old woman scremt at the two, “Instead of fighting over a dog come inside for what you wanted boy! You too Abby.”

Raden and Abby- the girl, turned their attention towards the old woman and would slowly nod. Once they were inside, Abby apologized and sat him down on a chair in her room. She always does this... Everyday its the same. Raden Anticipates what Abby will do and as expected, she offers him cheap sweets and stands behind where he sat, playing with his head and speaking sweetly to him.

Abbys his only friend. No one else dares to put up with him ever since the accident. As Raden and Abby grow older, Abby became more manipulative. A few years pass by once again, their 14 and Abby was behind a counter at the same flower house selling flowers, red rabbit jewels, monster skin and other goods to Raden. After trading they would play and talk in her room down the Houses hallway.

"You should take somevCopper from the rich blacksmith down the road. He owes me but wont pay me back, a real bi**." Abby walked over to Raden who sat on the edge of her bed. "you won't get in trouble. Just be a good boy for me." Abby continued, Raden keeps a poker face.

Radens throat tightened and went puffy when she sat on his lap. "You will do that for me right?" her voice broke and she had glossy eyes, Abby was ready to cry if he refused which he did with a simple head shake.

Abby had widened eyes and teared up. "Your mean for someone who killed my dog and disrespected my families deaths." Abby had cried out loud leaning on his chest. Against what her original plan was, she fell asleep from how tired she had been.

Even when she woke up to him patting her head and looking away shyly, she grinned Mischeviously and pretended to only wake up later with tears as she fluttered her eyes open at him. "Oh sorry... I guess I didn't sleep well last night. You make me sad when you don't do such simple things for me you know?" she complained with a sweet, moan-ish tone.

Raden hesitantly gave in and put the back of his left hand to his mouth and looked away to his right, giving a small nod,"Alright, alright. I'll do it. I want something this time though." his pupils moved to look at Abby, gaining his confidence and composure.
