Prologue
Cygnus A.K.A. Maeve, is a patient with an illness with no medicine, she's staying in the hospital to recuperate, she's already slowly getting weaker, and her mother was crying as she was speaking on call with someone outside her hospital room door and her father was comforting her mom, when a child came to seat next to her as she was sitting on her bed.

I'm scared of dying.

The morning after that conversation, the girl died and leaving behind a book it was given to Maeve to read as per the girl requested from the nurse to tell her.
Many Years after that, Maeve's body was giving in and as she was reading the end of the story, a black-out happened, the machine that's keeping her alive turned off, and so everything went black and Maeve lost consciousness.

Maeve woke up in an unfamiliar surrounding, she sat up and ran towards the mirror.

Cygnus becomes the anomaly in the novel she was reading, the sole female in a clan of ruthless men. Her father, the towering, feared and revered by all, and an intimidating head of the mafia, has raised his sons to be fearless and be feared, that just by hearing their names will make people tremble in fear, and Cygnus has been trained alongside them, but her nature makes her seem like a delicate flower within the heart of a hurricane.
Arzhel, the eldest, is a Stoic and calculating heir to the Mafia. Zane, the second, is a relentless biker who's always on the edge of violence, playful. Tristan, the third brother, can be described as a madman who enjoys killing. And Rhys, the youngest brother, who happens to be the family's golden boy, is a gym-obsessed, bubbly, hyper-focused gamer who's good at sugar-coating insults using double-meaning words. All five of them could be the next successor to their father, but none of them want to take over the seat, as it would restrain their freedom. Only the eldest son would dare to take it, as it is his role as the eldest son.
