Indian Girl Transmigrated Into Novel
ep 01
Anjali slowly opens her eyes, wincing as the faint morning light creeps into the small, dingy room. She lies on a thin mat on the ground, her body aching from another sleepless night. With a deep sigh, she rolls onto her side, her dark hair spilling across the mat.
As she struggles to sit up, her eyes fall upon a small, faded photo of her husband, Rohan, on the wall. Her expression twists in a mixture of fear and revulsion. She quickly looks away, her gaze drifting around the cramped, cluttered space.
With a sense of resignation, Anjali pushes herself to her feet, her slender body swaying slightly as she stands. She smooths out her worn, cotton sari, her eyes cast downward, avoiding the mirror hanging on the wall. The weight of her reality is crushing, and she can't bear to face her own reflection.
She went to washroom to take bath and comes out wearing :-
Anjali's feet faltered on the stairs as she caught sight of her husband, Rohan, lounging in the living room. He sat with one leg crossed over the other, his eyes fixed on the TV as he sipped his chai. His mother brihati, seated beside him, turned her gaze towards Anjali, her eyes narrowing into a disapproving glare.
Anjali's heart sank as she felt a familiar sense of dread wash over her. She hesitated for a moment, her hand tightening around the banister as she steeled herself to face the day ahead.
Rohan's eyes flickered towards her, his gaze lingering on her for a moment before returning to the TV. His expression remained impassive, but Anjali could sense a hint of disdain emanating from him.
Anjali's eyes dropped to the floor as she made her way down the stairs, her feet carrying her towards the kitchen, where she knew she was expected to start her daily chores.
brihati raghuvanshi
(scoffs) dekha beta, kya nalayak patni hai ye
(means : did you see son, what useless wife she is)
Anjali raghuvanshi
(heard that but stays silent)
(washing dishes)
brihati raghuvanshi
Bhalla ye koi time hai uthne ka
Humare time pe humlog 5 baje uthe the
(means :- is this even a time to wake up, in our time we used wake up at 5 am)
As the day wore on, Anjali felt like she was walking on eggshells, trying to avoid any confrontation with Rohan or his mother brihati. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't escape the feeling of being watched and criticized.
Rohan's mother brihati seemed to take great pleasure in finding fault with everything Anjali did, from the way she cooked dinner to the way she swept the floor. Anjali tried to ignore her, but the constant barrage of criticism wore her down.
As night began to fall, Anjali felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had made it through the day without any major incidents. But as she was getting ready for bed, drunk Rohan's demeanor changed. His eyes, which had been cold and distant all day, flashed with anger.
Without warning, he lashed out, his hand connecting with Anjali's cheek. She felt a searing pain and her head spun as she stumbled backward. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes as she raised a hand to her cheek, feeling the warmth of the slap spreading through her skin.
Rohan raghuvanshi
(angrily says) Meri zindagi barbad kardi tumse shaadi karke.
(means: you have ruined my life by marrying you)
Rohan's mother brihati watched the scene unfold with a satisfied smirk, her eyes glinting with malice. Anjali felt a wave of despair wash over her, wondering how she would make it through another day in this loveless, abusive marriage
ep 02
Anjali raghuvanshi
(crying)
Anjali raghuvanshi
(gasping for air but tears still flowing)......I-i wish....I-i h-had an-another ch-chance
Anjali raghuvanshi
(falls asleep while crying)
Anjali's eyes fluttered open, and she was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. She sat up with a start, her gaze darting around the room in confusion. The space was opulent, with intricately carved wooden furniture and vibrant silk fabrics. The walls were adorned with delicate Chinese calligraphy and ornate vases.
She stumbled backward, her hands raised in front of her as if warding off some unseen threat. Her eyes darted wildly around the room, searching for an escape or a clue to her whereabouts. But every door and window seemed to lead to more questions, and Anjali's fear gave way to panic.
mei mei
(sees a mirror nearby)
mei mei
(pinches herself thinking she's surely dreaming)
mei mei
(shocked realising that it's reality) wh-what's happening with me
Anjali's gaze remained fixed on the opulent room, her mind struggling to comprehend her surroundings. Suddenly, the air was filled with a low, melodious voice, sending shivers down her spine.
Startled, Anjali spun around, her eyes wide with wonder. That was when she saw him - a man with an otherworldly beauty that left her breathless. His eyes were an unnerving white, devoid of any color, yet seemed to bore into her very soul. His hair cascaded down his back like a river of moonlight, its softness and silkiness evident even from a distance.
xiao shing yi
(looks at her with pure adoration and love)
My love, is something wrong?
(asks gently)
As their eyes met, Anjali felt the world around her melt away, leaving only the two of them suspended in time. She stood there, transfixed, her heart pounding in her chest, as the stranger's gaze held her captive
mei mei
(finally snapped out of daze and shutteringly asks)
W-who-o are you
xiao shing yi
(face falls, his eyes widening in shock as he takes in Mei Mei's words)
xiao shing yi
Mei Mei... no, you don't remember? You're my wife, my queen. I'm your husband, Xiao Shing Yi.
(He takes a step closer, his voice filled with desperation)
mei mei
Steps back immediately
N-no! D-Don't speak nonsense
xiao shing yi
(face darkens, his eyes flashing with anger and hurt.) Nonsense? You think I'm speaking nonsense? I'm your husband, Mei Mei. I've loved you for years. You gave birth to our children, our son Xiao Min Yi and our daughter Xiao Tia Yi.
ep 03
xiao shing yi
(He takes a step closer, his voice rising) You don't remember anything? How can you not remember me?" (He looks at her with a mixture of pain and accusation, his words a harsh rebuke.)
mei mei
C-children?! W-what happening with me!!
(panicking)
xiao shing yi
(expression softens, his eyes filled with a deep longing as he gazes at Mei Mei.) You don't remember, do you? (He whispers, his voice barely audible.) You don't remember our life together, our love, our children? (He takes a step closer, his hands reaching out to gently cup her face)
xiao shing yi
(feeling concerned) are you feeling sick? Did you get hurt somewhere? (checking for any injury everywhere)
mei mei
(snatches her hand back)
D-Don't touch me!!
xiao shing yi
(face falls, his eyes flashing with hurt and rejection as Mei Mei snatches her hand back.) Mei Mei, don't... please don't push me away like this. I'm trying to help you, to be with you.
xiao shing yi
You're my wife, my queen. I love you. Don't you remember how I love you? (He reaches out, his hand hovering over hers, his eyes pleading with her to understand.)
mei mei
b-but I don't remember anything-
xiao shing yi
(eyes cloud with despair, his face pale with worry.) Don't say that, Mei Mei. Please... try to remember. For me. (He takes a step closer, his voice trembling) I'm here, I'm your husband. We have a life together, a family. Please, Mei Mei, try to remember me.
mei mei
(hesitatingly says) c-can you p-please le-leave me-e alone?
xiao shing yi
(face falls, his eyes welling up with tears as he takes a step back, giving Mei Mei the space she's asked for.) Very well, my love. I'll give you space. But know that I'm here for you, always. I'll wait for you to remember me, to remember us.
xiao shing yi
(He turns to leave, but not before casting a longing glance at Mei Mei, his voice barely above a whisper.) I'll be here, waiting for you.
Anjali's eyes remained fixed on the spot where the stranger had disappeared, her mind reeling with questions. As the moments ticked by, a dull ache began to throb in her temples, spreading its tendrils of pain throughout her head.
She raised a hand to her forehead, her fingers massaging her skin in a futile attempt to ease the agony. But the pain was only a symptom of the turmoil brewing inside her.
Anjali's thoughts swirled with confusion and disorientation. Whose body was she inhabiting? Why did this man claim to be her husband? And the children... were they really hers? The questions swirled in her mind like a maelstrom, leaving her feeling lost and disconnected from reality.
As the headache intensified, Anjali's knees buckled, and she sank onto the nearest chair, her elbows resting on her thighs as she cradled her head in her hands. The world around her seemed to spin, and she felt like she was drowning in a sea of uncertainty.
As Anjali sat with her head in her hands, a faint memory echoed in her mind. The stranger's voice, low and husky, whispered a single word: "Mei mei." The sound sent a shiver down her spine, and suddenly, fragments of a forgotten life began to resurface.
Anjali's eyes snapped open, her gaze unfocused as she struggled to piece together the puzzle. Who was Mei Mei? And why was Anjali inhabiting her body? The questions swirled in her mind like a vortex, drawing her in with an otherworldly force.
As Anjali's mind struggled to comprehend the bizarre situation, a faint memory began to resurface. She recalled a novel she had read with her foreign friend, Sophia, during their college days. The book had been a romance novel, set in ancient China, with a complex plot involving reincarnation, love, and betrayal.
