The day I have been waiting for from my childhood is Finally here
Well, I'm not happy because I'm getting married, but I'm happy because I'm getting married to an Indian.
You must be thinking, what's there to be excited this much, it's happens to everyone's life and everyone has to face this once in their life.
umm, you are right but being a kid of an American father and Indian mother it was always my dream to get married to an Indian.
I have spent my whole life in New York, so I have grown watching American culture.
Here love stays for only one night and promises made for one month only.
From my high school I have watching people to say I love you to their partner for one night. Even marriage doesn't stay for much longer, if they are not getting along with each other they will find another person to hang out with.
Situationship, love bombing, hook-up culture, and many. You can find it in country in 21st century.
But honestly you like me or not, I don't like this, I always wanted one person for my whole life.
It's not like I never had a boyfriend, I had a boyfriend in my high school but as I have denied to sleep with him, he has cheated me with my best friend next day.
After that I have never gotten into relationship. But in mind I have decided if I ever get married I will only marry an Indian man.
You can say it's my Bollywood fever, since I have started watching those movies and serials I knew that's what I want in life
Those soft romance in kitchen, His little help, his excuses to sneak into our room in silence and give me a cheesy hug from behind... I have been imagining these everyday before going to sleep.
And finally the day is here....
I'm getting married to Rudra Pratap Sing, a top-notch businessman from India, I don't know how my dad fixed my marriage with him. But I trust my dad, I know whatever he does he does for my happy future.
Today we are heading to India. After 3 days our engagement is held in their place.
I never met with him personally, nor I have talked with him over call.
One month ago my dad came from a business trip and told me he has fixed my marriage with his friend's son Rudra Pratap Sing
First I got really shocked. How my dad can take any decision without my will, he always cares for my opinion in everything. Then my mom told me how dad's friend has himself asked for this relationship, and they thought this is best for me.
I searched on internet about him, oh Jesus he is really handsome... why God just made every Indian like a real life Disney prince.

Magnificent Mansion
We reached India, Delhi, city of lover as I have known from internet.
I wanted to see many things and visit many places in India, try Indian food and roam around the city.
I even had made a list what I will do here but my bad mamma said I only can visit this places after my engagement.
They have lots of works and arrangements pending, so they can't company me visiting these places, and they will never let me go alone outside in a unknown city.
After reaching Delhi international airport we directly went to my would be in law's I mean Pratap mansion.
The was not looking very modern but if I'm right it's an old ancient Indian palace which has renovated.
But the structure and the art on wall cannot hide it's ancientness.
In front gate there was two lion statues which is probably made by cutting rock and the mansion was huge and big which modern engineers avoid making houses.
I was so busy watching the magnificent palace in front of me when I looked beside to call my mom I saw I was left behind and my parents already entered.
I quickly took my bag which was laying down and ran inside the mansion.

She walked passed by us and left from the mansion.
Butler shows us our rooms, my room was so cozy with royal furniture. That room was mostly in white and golden color and the curtains were in beige and golden color.
in short it was giving total royal vibe.
I moved the curtains from window which was right beside my bed and inhaled fresh air, it was so different from the Delhi road I have come from.
I looked the surroundings and everywhere was antic walls, art, and furniture.
I saw the butler locking a room, it seemed a very old room, and I don't thing anyone lives there.
I shook my thoughts and decided to go for a stroll in the mansion after finishing my shower.

I got ready wearing a decent white floral dress as mom has highly warned me to not wear anything inappropriate.
For around 1 hour I roamed around the mansion, but I think I still have many more things to see in the palace.
I clicked so many pictures in excitement as if I will leave from here tomorrow.
Everything was so marvelous but one thing which I have noticed that most of the rooms are either locked or in construction.
This family has only 4 members in it so why do they need this huge mansion..
I kept roaming in the mansion and watching things I never have seen in America.
I was walking through a lobby when I heard a noise. It was like someone is continuously hitting his fist on the door.
I went near the with fear...

I heard someone's trembling voice which was begging to open the door.

I opened the door, the room was so dark I saw a masculine figure coming out from it.
I saw a man coming out of the room, his face was totally covered with hair and beard, it seemed like it was not groomed properly for a while
He was wearing a sky blue tshirt which was torned from back and a half pant which I think might be so old.
That man was trembling in fear and was holding a rubber toy.
