During recess, I had the 4th coffee of my day I think to not sleep during my upcoming classes. I do have a name in my group, which is miss got it all together. But no one knows what a hot mess I am stuck in

The teacher called, "Jim what is the answer?" just to wake him up. On a verge, he answered it was 10 without realising it was English period. I couldn't help but laugh at my friend for pulling the stunt for the day as a class clown and bringing in some fun in our boring days

Thankfully, the school day was over but, the real task starts of me doing odd jobs to make enough for my career to support myself in the future of nothing. You all might have a questioned thought that why I am this depressed well hop in, and I will show y'all a turn of events that will surely give adrenalin rush well that is, if you are a teen

I was just on my way to deliver the orders of cookies of all kinds to the 'other' side of the neighbourhood. This will be a tough task as I have never went

to the other side of the neighborhood. It might be a simple task if the "lake" wasn't there to divide the neighbourhood into two. I was accompanied by my friend Jim who came to help me out as i don't really know to get to the other side. I know the path to go there by walkIng, but wIth these packages I had to take my scooter and Jim also took some packages in his scooter, and we rode off to the other side. Wee, this is so fun

Before continuing my day, I will give you a brief sketch of my life. I am Elsie, I recently joined the public school which is a big downgrade from the private school I went to. That's where I met Jim, he was the perfect friend anyone could ask for. During the hard parts of my life, he had always been there for me. He even introduced me to his friend group and that's how i got such amazing friends. Jim knows that I had a rough patch in my past which makes me upset but, he never asked me anything which made me feel safe with him.

Y'all might think that the qualifications I had put for Jim is just boyfriend material but, trust me his just a friend and do you think I will be showing the main element of the story at the start only like please.

I just jumped onto my bed after I delivered the boxes of cookies. Still sweating and heavy breathing, could it be? I just witnessed the most terrifying thing in my life and someone whom I thought I would never see in my life

The Encounter Of The Night-

Elise still felt overwhelmed by the incident that she encountered last night. She marched up to Jim to confront him to see if he knows something about it

The huge problem in this encounter is that Elise can't remember anything except the fact that she broke out in cold sweats for something but now, if she tries to think about it, she was not able to rethink it. It almost sounds like a dream, but it did not have people whom she knows

But in it, she came sprinting to her home due to something but, what was it

Mystery Behind The Encounter-

Jim finally had enough and said,"Elise, I know this will hurt you, but it's best if you go see a psychiatrist"

Elise,"What are you talking about, there is nothing wrong with me!"

Jim,"There is nothing wrong with you but, something has happened in your past and that trauma seems to be haunting you is my guess. So if you visit this person, you might get an answer"

After Elise calmed down, she accepted that she also thinks she has some trauma

The Visit With The Psychiatrist-

Jim accompanied Elise as she might require some support

Jim thought to himself, "now that I think about it Elsie never mention her parents, siblings and home address or anything. I just hope there is nothing severe about this issue", (Elsie is a cute pet name that Jim came up with but, he doesn't use it publicly)

When they both entered the room, the psychiatrist asked the nurse to led Jim to another room which made Elise's nerves bubbling inside her

The psychiatrist caught Elise's nervousness and asked her about her qualifications for her dream guy to distract her from the stress

As Jim sat in the other room watching Elise from a one-way mirror, he can't help but blush as Elise told all the qualifications that resembled Jim

Jim always had felt a tiny spark when he has small physical contacts with Elsie and his heart always have ached when she feels down but, he had never told a word about this as he didn't want to scare her off, and he wants her to first get back on her feet before his confession

Finally, after Elise had calmed down, the psychiatrist decided to go in deep with personal questions to get a solution from her inner self

After the check-up, the psychiatrist was not able to put together the information she had just got. She looked confused and flustered as she was unable to give them a solution, so she asked them to visit her on Wednesday

What went wrong?-

Jim was just as shocked as Lia (The psychiatrist). Elise lost hope of finding the missing piece. When they were out on the road, Elise lifted her head and saw someone move to the corner.

Elise thought, "He is the guy who alarmed me for some reason in my dream well maybe in real, oh I really have no time for this right now"

Elise bolted down the road and Jim followed her unaware of why she was sprinting down the road. Jim stopped at a point as Elise stopped too

Elise, "How, I just saw him in this street, he just disappeared in a corner but, ........that is impossible"

Elise put down her head with her hands over it, with all the things she encountered went on and on in her head, she was just not able to handle it so, Jim decided it best not to ask her about this and took her to his home instead to keep an eye on her

Lots of love and care-

Jim's mom adored Elise like her own daughter so, right after she knew that Elise was coming, she made her fresh hot dumplings and steaming soup which are her favorites and boy did she ate those quick, and she was put to sleep by Jim's mother

What happened at the consultation? And how did Elise suddenly remember the guy in her dreams?

What Happened In The Consultation-

Even though, the psychiatrist tried to understand Elise's situation, it was getting hopeless as to the questions asked, Elise only answered one thing, 'I DON'T KNOW'. This left the psychiatrist in a flustered mood

Results Of Elise's Check-up-

Lia called Jim over to discuss Elise's condition. Jim in a confused state asked, "Lia, doesn't Elise need to be here?". Lia, "No, I have a feeling that she won't take it very well".

Then, Lia went on to explain Jim that she believes Elise have amnesia and those dreams that she is not able to understand are actually her childhood memories that come to her. I believe that her past trauma is maybe connected to her parents as they are not with her now.

Jim asked, "How did you understand all this mam?". Lia, "I had witnessed this case in person as my stepdaughter also had amnesia, but this is different as Elise does not have anyone to make her completely understand her past life.

She explained that the only way to help Elise is to find a person from her past who can help her out but, for that you would require any pictures or diary from her past or the guy she in her dreams

After the conversation with Lia, Jim felt a new regained confidence inside him

What had Elise found?-

Elise walked to her home to make herself a bit relaxed when she spotted the same guy in the same black hoodie, and he was holding on to a diary of some sort. Without making any noise, she silently crept up close to catch him when she spotted her and ran away. Elise without giving up, ran behind the guy but, wasn't able to get a hold of him. She returned to her home feeling hopeless and sorrow building inside her, her heart aching for her condition when she spotted the diary that the guy was holding. Suddenly Elise had a brainwave that this diary is connected to her past and took it inside her home to investigate when she spotted Jim walking towards her.

Solving The Mystery Of Elise's Past-

After Jim and Elise explained each other what happened with the psychiatrist and the guy. They went through the diary and found some pictures. Elise, "Jim, didn't you tell that pictures of people from my past can help me to solve the problem". Then, Elise went inside her room to find something and returned with her diary. Jim, "Why did you bring this diary". Elise said that these are her memories that she had noted down. Through those and the pictures they understood that her parents only caused her past trauma, and they left her that made her all alone then, when she saw the pictures, she suddenly had a memory of her taking a picture of her parents saying that from now I will only take pictures of the things and people I love. Jim gave her some water then, she explained the dream to him.

But one thing they were not able to connect, the random dude from the photos she had taken. She remember from the memories that she was an only child who had no friends, loved nature and her parents, so who was this guy?

They were only to get these information and Elise felt a bit at ease with this progress

Jim's Here To Save The Day-

Jim suggested that Elise should stay at his house for sometime as the psychiatrist suggested. Even though Elise refused, through a lot of pleading and valid points from Jim which finally made Elise agree.
