Rani Akash Pov:

Today is supposed to be a celebration. My sister's wedding was meant to be a joyous occasion, a new chapter for her. She's about to marry the man I think my father's friend son.... and I'm so happy for her.

The entire family is gathered, the smiles, the laughter, the excitement in the air. I went to other country to complete my studies and I'm finally getting a chance to catch up with my friend after long time. It feels so good to talk them freely, to laugh again, and to share what's been going on in our lives.

 The weight of everything that's happened in the last couple of years family drama, expectations, disappointments. It seems a little lighter as I lose myself in the conversation.

when all of a sudden I feel a hand grab my arm. Hard. I freeze. The grip is too tight, the force too much.

I even shout at him, "who are you Mister? and What are you doing?, leave my hand, you are hurting me." Said to him but he is not listening and responding.

My heart pounding like crazy, I try to break free, but the man's grip only tightens. I don't even recognize him because he is showing his back only.

Where is everyone? Why is no one stepping in? I can't even think straight, my thoughts a blur, just trying to keep calm, to get away from him.

Finally, we reach a room. The door opens, The air in the room was thick with tension, a palpable energy that prickled my skin. My parents and the bridegroom's parents were there.

I could feel the undercurrent of unease, the unspoken anxieties that hung heavy in the air. They were all talking With loud voices, but the conversation stopped abruptly as soon as we entered the room. Every head turned to look at us.

What happened to them? Why they look so tensed and anxiety?.. I said in mumbling tone while looking down.

Then suddenly i heard slapped sound. When i Held up my head, and i saw my father, who's face turning red with fury. And His hands are shaking, but not from fear. It's from sheer raw anger.

Then he said "How dare you lay your hand on my daughter "growl with cold tone.

Then I looked at the man who held her hand so tightly. I got surprised and wide her eyes. He is soon to be my sister's husband, why is he holding my hand?, and where is my sister?, why can't I see her?, What happened to her?, is she ok?.

 I have so many questions, I want to ask....

And what's wrong with this man?, why did he hold my hand who soon to be his sister-in-law?,

Does he have any shame?, My father even warn and slapped him, he did not leave my hand.

I will faint if I don't ask them what's going on here?...

Rani pov ends:

Rani father furiously said with cold tone , " Get your hands off from my daughter, Luka Stone."

Luka didn't leave rani hand, but held her hand more tightly and looking at Rani father coldly.

Rani moaned in pain and her father looked at her with worried tone.

Rani's father said, "how dare you? " Try to slap him again Then Luka father held his hand to prevent him to slap his son.

Then Luka father said " Why are you slapping my son ?" and Leave his hand.

Rani father said angrily"you don't know, why am I slapping him?. How dare he hold my daughter hand?..."

Then Luka father cut off Rani father words said furiously , " What he has to do after your one daughter runaway from the Marriage".

The " runaway " words hung in the air, each syllable dripping with contempt and accusation. Rani's father flinched, his shoulders slumping slightly.

Even he try open his mouth to speak, to defend himself, to explain, there are no words came out. The fury in Luka's father's eyes, the raw pain and anger in his voice, silenced him.

But He said furiously to Luka father "That doesn't mean your son can hold my another daughter hand. Does he?...

Then Luka father didn't say anything and just looked away.

When Luka father said her sister runaway from the Marriage. Rani stood frozen, unable to process the information. Rani said in her mind "Runaway? It was unthinkable... Unbelievable... How could she runaway?"

"But why?" Rani whispered, the question echoing the turmoil in her heart.

Rani used her strength to released her hand from his grip.

After She went to her mother and asked "Why did she runaway?"

Her mother shook her head, tears welling up in her eyes and said "I don't know, Rani. I truly don't know. Why did she do this to us?".

When she saw her mom's teary eyes her heartache. She said to her mother with gentle tone while hugging her. "Mom please don't cry, everything will be okay."

Everyone In the Room looked at him.

"What drama Luka?" Rani's mother asked him while wipe off her tears.

"If this is not drama Then what is this?. And, I feel like she's the one who helped her sister run away," he said and his voice a dangerous blend of anger and frustration.

Rani mother wide her eyes with shocked.

Luka's family look at her suspiciously.

She stared at him, her eyes widening in surprise, her face flushing with indignation. And the accusation and a venomous dart aimed at her heart.

"Excuse me?, Why on earth would you think that?" she said and her voice tight with a mixture of shock and anger While looking at him.

She is thinking in her mind "does he is okay?, does his brain cells are working or not?, what on earth does he think, I am the one who helped my sister to runaway?!. And last why the hell that his parents looking at me suspiciously?".

"You should have been with your sister,"....

When he started speaking, she spaced-out from her thoughts and glares at him.

He continued, his voice rising. "What were you doing with your friends?, I think you wanted to take her place. That's why you did this, right?"

She struggled to control her anger, her heart pounding furiously, and she said, "That's ridiculous. But I can answer your every ridiculous question."

"First you said that I should have been with my sister, right?. Yes you are right that I should have been with my sister." but, I....

Then suddenly he interrupted her and said while his voice raising dangerously, "I knew, you want to take your sister place".

Rani parents calm and They don't believe in Luka words.

He said while raising his voice, and pointed a finger at her, his accusation a venomous dart aimed at her heart."You are shameless!. "She is your own sister!, Your own flesh and blood!, And you helped her run away? You helped her escape her responsibilities? You want to take her place!, How can girl....

"If you say one more word, I promise you, I really break your mouth". She interrupted him and said while her voice dangerously low, each syllable a carefully aimed threat while furiously glaring at him.

He stared at her, his face is a mixture of shock and anger. He hadn't expected this level of defiance, this raw, uncontrolled fury and that He pushed her too far.

When Rani father heard "shameless" about his daughter, his blood boiled and clenched his fist. He tried to come between them suddenly Luka father stopped him. "Let Them talk, don't worry he won't do anything, we are here only, just relax." He said with whispering tone. Rani father just nod his head and stood there.

He felt so happy when his daughter Said that she is really break his mouth. He thinking in his mind, "That's my daughter".

She continued while raising her voice, "Hello Mr. Luka, I just completed my studies in "Z" country and came here yesterday.

After long time I saw my friends, and I want to talk to them. I told my sister that I will be back after a while. In between time, I really don't know what happened, you suddenly came, hold my hand, and you were saying, I am the one who helped her to runaway from the Marriage. For who?!, you think I am done this for you."

Rolling her eyes and continue, "Try not to inflate your ego so much. You're not as amazing as you think you are. You're simply not worthy of me".

Her father control his laugh, Thinking in his mind, "he is not worthy of you, he is highly thinking of himself. Show him his place."proudly nod his head.

Luka wide his eyes with shock, he didn't expect this Answer, He thinks Just one finger snap every girl will fall for him. He snapped out of from his thoughts when she started taking....

She Said with cold tone, "I don't like a man who don't respect his elders."

He shocked with her words and thinking in his mind "When didn't I respect elders?", Realise, looked away.

Luka parents wide their eyes while looked at Rani. His parents were like, "Elders, when did our son didn't respect here". They whispered.

In few seconds they understand that he didn't respect her father a while ago. They think that is why she said like that.

And she thinks in her mind "If he married to my sister, he should have been taking my blessings, Because She is my younger sister."

Rani father wide his eyes with surprise and thought in his mind, " Shit I forgot to tell my friend that his son is going to married to my younger daughter Ramya Aakash not elder daughter. How did I do this mistake?, I should have told them." Sigh heavily.

Then He sigh heavily and said to Rani mother, "We have only one hour, Aunty," his voice barely above a whisper. "Just one hour until the wedding. We have to make this girl a bride." Said with blank expression while Point finger at Rani.

Luka family calm when he said he wants marry Rani. But Rani family got shocked, before Rani father respond, "Excuse me, I won't accept this marriage. Didn't I said while ago you are not worthy of me?!." Rani said while looking at Luka.

His chuckle was devoid of humor, a dark, chilling sound that sent shivers down her spine. He leaned closer, his shadow looming over her like a predator.

"Who wants your permission?, and about worthy we will talk about that topic another time" he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "You accept this marriage or not, it doesn't matter. You have to marry me." He said coldly while looking at her.

She stared at him, her eyes blazing with defiance, her heart pounding with anger.
