Its raining hard

I ran away crying from the restaurant where my beloved ones is. I...I saw him with another girl kissing passionately. He is my fiancé but he cheated on me. I thought we promise to each other that we will be together.

He will be my pillow to lean.

My knight to protect.

My sun to shine in the dark.

But all of this was just a lie, a lie.

I am running under the heavy rain. The rain is like a knife stabbing all over to feel the pain. I ran towards the pedestrian. Suddenly I saw a light that shines through in east. I stared never notice what will happen next.

I fell on the ground. Blood all over my body. Am I dead? Good thing for me it was a harsh day for me to see him hurting my heart everyday. Still it was raining hard and lying dead but I smile and wish that it was now over. I lost.

Many people surrounds me. I heard a sirens of an ambulance, though I can't feel any around my body, wish on my next life I don't want to see that bastard ever again.

I was on the dark place where don't know the location is. I saw him and a girl hugging each other. They saw me, his face is like disgusted to me and he says, "let's end this" and walked away with the girl. I kneeled down and crying I asked myself, "what did I do wrong to please you? Why am I always getting hurt when I saw you holding others arm?". Suddenly I fell to the hole of abyss that it is so deep that I don't know where to land.

I opened my eyes, saw a light I thought that I am in heaven, but I was wrong. I smell disinfectant around also a beep sound. Then I feel painful on my hands, I looked down and saw a needle inject me, it was a dextrose.

"Doc, she's awake!". I heard someone shouting. I look around using my pupil, it was empty room though and so quiet.

I heard an opening sound of the door and someone enter, I saw a doctor wearing white lab gown and he has so many pens that is colorful, he is holding a clipboard in it has papers, he's with someone that's quite a normal person not a professional. A 3 person, 1 is an old woman and 2 is a man (old and young). The doctor and the 3 person talked to each other.

A young man walk towards me crying I felt something broken to my chest but innocently don't know the situation. He started to talk and call me "sis". I question him, "who are you?". The young man was terribly shocked and called those two person "Mom. Dad. Big sis forgot me",he cried.

They went towards me even the doctor. The doctor says to me that "her condition was stable, she needs to recover but due to the accident that cause the blood cloth through her brain, she has a amnesia"

An old man says "ok I understand". Don't know what's going on but his answer is a little bit suspicious its like they hide something. Also its like they don't want to regain my memories. I decide to myself that if my memories were bad, I want to forget it forever but if its precious I want to cherish it and make a new one.

The doctor left the room. An old man started to talked says "I am your father, this woman is your mother and this young man is your younger brother, George. We are family and we hope to understand your situation right now"

"Who am I?", I asked. They look to each other and my mother answer "you are Rose, the daughter of Jenny and Derick"

"Big sis you've been sleeping for 5 days because of the accident. I don't know what happen to you before but right now, we will create our new memories",George said with a smile on his face.

He's right, we will create new memories. I don't care my past as long as I am here, alive, I'll create happy moments starting with my family

Few days later

I was discharged today, the cool breeze of outside world is so refreshing. I hate the disinfectant scent of the hospital that makes me vomit everyday.

My family and I went back home. Actually I already accept them that they are my family because they really care for me. We reached home, George and I went to my room, we enter and I saw lots though its simple aesthetic pinkish flower design, I like it a lot. I walk around in my room and first thing that I saw is picture frames. One of it is a family picture and a second one is me and some  4 strangers that I don't remember. I looked on that picture with such a simple wood frame, and that picture of me with others seems like a precious memories. The content of the picture is we went to the amusement park and picture behind a roller coaster. I think we are having fun by that time.

"Rose and George its time to eat",my mother called us. I went downstairs and go to the dining area to eat dinner. I sat next to George and our parents sat on the opposite side of a table. We eat as a normal family do but it seems so quiet, I only heard the noise of plate and utensils.

The food served is empty even our plates but still none of us is eager to talk. I'm innocent since I have an amnesia.

"Rose. Do you want a job?",father questioned. It was too sudden to ask about job since I discharged in the hospital.

"If you want, I can arrange it for you but you need to study again alone before you go to work",he added

"Okay father, I'll study first and I'll try my best to get a job",I answered

"Great big sis is going to work. I'll help you to learn since I owe you even it takes years to learn everything",George said with his excited expression

I went back to my room. I took one of the educational book in my bookcase. Its all about business, since when did I curious about the business industry, it pops-out from my mind. Well I need to study and learn.

I open my book and notice that there's a picture stuck in the book, I took it out and I notice my face and 3 strangers around me. I laughed because I was a fool at that time though even its just a piece of memory that I forgotten and feels so good to see that.

I was curious about their names and my relationships between them. I want to learn more about myself and seek a little bit of my past though I myself say that I don't care about my past, I'm just curious that's all.

I stood up and went to George's room holding a picture of me and the strangers. I knocked on his door first and he opened it.

"What's wrong big sis?",he question

"Uhmm...George. I would like to know if you know them in the picture?". I gave the picture to him to make sure if he's familiar,just one person.

"Yeah. I know them all, they are your best friends. I have contacts, would you call them over?"

I was so excited deep inside to see them because I was curious about my past.

My brother tried to call them on his first contact. The phone rings few times. And now answer.

"Rose...can you come back later, I'll call you of they are here",he said and his hands waving to go away. I let him talk to them,but I want to eavesdrop the conversation, I know that's a privacy of his and I respect it.

Few hours later, the doorbell rings. It repeats so many times that my ears are tickling and none of our family respond to this doorbell. I rush down to see who rings the bell and open the door. I saw 3 people in front and I don't know who they are. 2 boys and 1 girl.

"Li-Rose! Long time no see",girl said with her smile reached her ears

"Huh?",I respond. I don't know who they are and how did she knows my name?

"Sorry about what happen to your accident and lost your memory", a boy wearing a black polo-shirt with polka dots.

"We are your friends since high school. And your younger brother, George, tells us what happen", another boy wearing a jersey shirt and short pants.

I see so they are my friends. But deep inside my feelings, I am so happy to see them though you know about the accident. Stupid accident that I forgot my friends.

3 person came into our house, they sat on the sofa while me, I was go to the kitchen and get some food that I see. I return and bring crackers and a pitcher of juice. I gave them a glass of juice, and we are now starting our conversation.

"Rose. Do you really forgotten us?",a girl worried.

"Are you an idiot, she's been coma for a days and woke up nothing",the man said

"Guys stop that",the other man whispered while scolded them. "Let's introduce ourselves to our old friend. Hi Rose, my name is Liam Gadya, your friend since first year and she is Grace Lyani, and the other man besides her is Dave Sagdia"

So these are the names that I saw on the photo, and they look so better than the picture though.

We still continue our conversation about my memories...but something feels off about it. Its like they hide something from me and I don't really know what that is.

They left our house and when I was about to return to my room to study, I saw George leaning and waiting for me to return. He saw me and walk towards me, I was so nervous because his expression is like he's angry about it.

"Big sis, how's the conversation between your friends?",he asked. It turns out to be a curious brother that wanted to eavesdrop.

"Yeah, they were great. They tell me about my embarrassing memories even my achievements",I lied some part of it because there're some secrets behind.

Few days later...

They are my friends now, we spend time together. I was so happy that it was my first time or it isn't to spend time with my friends and made me happy.

We went to the park where people spending their peace and quiet. Liam and Dave were playing badminton while Grace and I were playing a volleyball. I started to serve a ball and Grace receive it. It was fun playing with my friends also it so fun while I study economics in my college.

Its only a break time, we are so tired already because we spend so much energy on playing sports. We went now to our class and my body is really heavy to lift myself up. I feel so sleepy but I try to endure it while our professor lecture the lesson.

...

I don't have a job yet because it's inconvenient that I work with lacking of educational skills and also experience.

Late night, we celebrate Grace's birthday. She threw a party just the four of us. We went to her house and went inside, we saw a tidy place than mines we're everywhere is so organized, even the food also, it was arranged by colors of it.

"Grace, what's with all those shiny, sparkling, and dazzling house?", complimented her.

"You forgot that I am a neat freak. Most of our schoolmates before were ignoring me because of that except you guys", she pretends to cry.

"Please don't pretend, you're not a drama queen but since it's your birthday, you can now act like an emotional birthday girl as we give you a present", Dave said

"Fine, before that, let our birthday girl blow her candle", Liam said. He took a box of cake that he brought at a bakery nearby, open the box and took out the cake, he started lighten the candle, he lifts it up and went towards to Grace.

We sing a happy birthday, and after we finish the song, she close her eyes and put her hands together. She was wish for something that we want to guess, after that, she open her eyes, getting closer to the cake, and she blew it. It was so good to see such a scenery of making a wish when your birthday is right now.

After that moment, we sing together, she has a karaoke in her house. Liam sings first, he picks Stitches by Shawn Mendes, he has a beautiful voice and such a harmonious melody. Next is Dave, he picks Fight song by Rachel Platten, we laughed because of his hideous voices when he sings song in a high note, after that he feel ashamed of himself in front of his friends.

Next one is our birthday girl, but right now she picks a song in different language, she picks Feel Special by Twice, she has a beautiful voice though but it seems so familiar about that tone. Unfortunately, it's been released only this year but since that accident, their song that they sing is so familiar to me. My head ache all of a sudden, and seems like there's a person appear in my head. Who is he? Is he the reason why I lost my memory and also let my heart ache?

After she finished the song, I woke up to the reality, it feels like real but it's so blurred and colorless.  I stare to them secretly if they notice something about me, but it seems like they didn't, they just have fun.

I stood up to find a place to be alone and let myself calm for a while. "Rose, where're you going?", she noticed.

"I just want to go out and having some fresh air", I said.

"Well suit yourself"

I went outside the house for a while to clear up my mind. I asked myself, What was that? Who on earth he is? And why am I crying?

There are so many questions that pops-out from my head. And my headache came back again. It's so hurts, I want to seek help but I can't, I knelt down because of the pain, I can't stand. I'm loosing myself, and suddenly a man again that appears inside. Who on earth is he? At the same time, my heart aches so bad, beats faster and hard to breathe in. Is it related to the songs that they sing? No! Don't overthink it, I want to find a way to escape this pain.

My body is so heavy again, I'm tired, I need to rest. I lay down on the hard ground, it was hurt and so tired. I close my eyes and my vision is all black.
