Kavya's pulse quickened. She had heard tales of the Red Fang Pack's brutality, but nothing could have prepared her for the reality of their cruelty. They had abducted her, an omega, with the intention of breaking her spirit and using her for their own twisted purposes.

Veer crouched down beside her, his face inches from hers. "How's our little omega doing today?" he taunted, his breath hot and foul against her cheek. "Still feeling strong?"

Kavya remained silent, refusing to give him the satisfaction of a response. Her defiance only seemed to amuse him.

"Still putting up a fight, I see," Veer said, chuckling. He reached out and grabbed a handful of her hair, yanking her head back. Pain shot through her scalp, but she gritted her teeth and refused to cry out.

"Maybe we need to remind you of your place," he continued. "You're nothing but a weak, helpless omega. You should be grateful we're even keeping you alive."

One of the other pack members, Raghav, stepped forward and handed Veer a metal rod. Veer took it with a sinister grin, the metal gleaming in the dim light. Kavya's eyes widened in fear as she realized what was about to happen.

"Let's see how strong you really are," Veer said, raising the rod.

The first blow landed on her side, sending waves of agony through her body. Kavya clenched her fists, her nails digging into her palms as she fought to stay silent. She wouldn't give them the satisfaction of hearing her scream.

Blow after blow rained down on her, each one more brutal than the last. Pain exploded in her ribs, her back, her legs. Her vision blurred, and she felt herself slipping into unconsciousness, but she fought to stay awake. She couldn't afford to lose consciousness now. She had to find a way out.

"That's enough," a voice said from the doorway, and Veer reluctantly lowered the rod. Kavya's vision cleared just enough to see a new figure standing there, his presence commanding and authoritative. It was Akshay, the alpha of the Red Fang Pack.

Akshay's eyes, cold and calculating, surveyed the scene before him. "What are you doing?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.

"Just reminding our little omega of her place," Veer replied, a hint of defiance in his tone.

Akshay's gaze shifted to Kavya, and for a moment, she thought she saw a flicker of something in his eyes—pity, perhaps, or regret. But it was gone as quickly as it had appeared.
