Jayden noticed something unusual, he looked at Sara head to toe. His eyes got stuck on her 6 months old visible belly.

*Pauses* You lost that right a long time ago. *looks away*
Park bench. Sara is sitting alone with her pregnant belly. Jayden approaches.

Sara...... I was a fool. I didn't see what I had until I lost you. *Softly*
Sara Riz (fl)
You broke me, Jayden. Why would I trust you again? *bitterly*
Jayden Morris (ml)
I'll spend my life making it up to you. Please give me a...... chance. *Pleading*

*freezes but quickly composes herself* Mr. Morris. Didn't expect to see you here.

*steps closer* What are you doing here?
Sara Riz (fl)
I work here. I'm Nicolas's assistant. *calmly*
Sara Riz (fl)
*moves to place the files on the desk* Now if you’ll excuse me—
Jayden Morris (ml)
*frowning, his eyes scanning her face* You look… different. Paler. Are you okay?
Sara Riz (fl)
I'm fine. No need for concern. *sharply*
Jayden’s gaze drops to her hand resting on her stomach. He stiffens, his eyes widening.

Sara.... are you....? *voice shaking*

Sara hesitates, her eyes hardening as she meets his gaze.

You lost the right to ask me anything the day you chose her over me. Stay out of my life. *coldly*
She turns and walks out, leaving Jayden standing there, stunned and speechless.
Jayden bursts into Nicolas’ office later that day.
Jayden Morris (ml)
Nicolas, why didn’t you tell me Sara works here?
Nicolas Device (ml's bff)
*looks up from his laptop, confused*

What difference does it make? She’s one of the best employees I’ve ever had. And since when do you care?

I don’t know. She wouldn’t tell me. But I need to find out.

*sighs* Good luck. Sara doesn’t take kindly to people barging into her life uninvited.
Jayden storms out of the office, determination etched on his face.
Jayden waits by Sara’s desk after work hours. She walks out of a meeting, visibly tired, and stops when she sees him.
Sara Riz (fl)
*sighs* What now, Jayden? I told you to stay out of my life.
Jayden Morris (ml)
I can’t do that, Sara. Not when I know there’s a chance that the baby is mine.
Sara Riz (fl)
*Crosses her arms* Why does it matter now? You didn’t care when I needed you the most. You were too busy with Viola.
Jayden Morris (ml)
*guilt flashes in his eyes* I made mistakes, but I’m here now. Let me prove to you that I care.
Sara Riz (fl)
*coldly* Care? You don’t even know the meaning of the word.
Jayden Morris (ml)
*steps closer, voice softening* Sara, I’m not asking for a second chance—just the truth. Is the baby mine?
Sara hesitates, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. She looks away.
Sara Riz (fl)
*whispers* Yes. But that doesn’t change anything.
