a loud voice echoed through the room. It was me who was shocked by what my dad just told me.

Stop shouting Pakhi! Why the hell are you shocked like I asked you to kill yourself, my dad said in the softest tone that he had never used before.

But Mr. Khurana what you've just said was way beyond taking my life. How in the hell did my boss Mr. Agnihotri wants me to marry him.

I was so shocked that I wasn't able to understand what just happened to me, my boss to whom I have never talked to before wants me to marry him. It's been only 1 week since I've joined the company, and now he wants to marry me like no dates no relationships between and a jump straight to marriage.

You are accepting the proposal Pakhi got it! Mr. Khurana said like he owned me, and I'll do whatever he'll ask me to. Not gonna happen in this fucking universe.

We reached our office in less than 5 minutes, thanks to god because he is so difficult to endure, in my life every single man is so difficult to endure like I can't, suffocation takes place whenever a man is around me. Growing up with such mesmerizing memories that those ducking men gave me, that it's my nature now to hate all the surrounding men.

I held his hands hoping to leave it sooner, we went straight to the last floor. Unfortunately the IT department was on the same floor as my boss's cabin, so we had to face him which was good tho as per my plans. As soon as the lift opened Mr. Saransh Agnihotri the CEO of AS entertainment company, 6'3 with broad shoulders and lean body like someone has carved his body like a Greek god with those grey eyes anyone would die for, whatever... why I'm complementing him, he's not that special beyond his sharp jaw and veins in his hands that pops like it will cut through his hand and..... Urghh whatever so yeah Mr. Agnihotri was standing in front of me, our eyes met, and an anonymous shiver ran through my body.

He left my eyes and followed his gaze towards the man standing beside me holding my hands. His gaze stopped at our hands which were curled in each other's like we'll be taken apart as soon as we'll leave each other's hand.

He turned back and went towards his cabin without saying or expressing anything, I guess my plan worked. He didn't come out for the whole day, but we played a little lovey-dovey couple act in front of my colleagues, and then I dropped the act man out with the money he had acted for. But to my surprise he held my hand and pulled me towards him trying to kiss me, I kicked straight to his balls and warned him to never show up in front of me.

These fucking creatures, I was proved correct once again.

I don't know but it's so frustrating, why I can't stand seeing someone holding her hands.

"Aadit, come to my cabin." I called my assistant also the person closest to me and also the friend of mine.

"What happened, Saransh?", he asked with a taunting smile as he knew what I was going to say.

"I want to know the rel....", I didn't even complete my sentence when aadit said, "he is not her boyfriend he is one of the employees of our company for paid acting workers." I was shocked and impressed at the same time because he knew what I wanted even before I said anything.

Of course, he would know because he is the only person who knows me really well. My father brought him one day at home and started giving him priority more than me. He is with me from when I was 6 but at starting we used to hate each other and fight like we would kill if we get chance but one day unfortunately Aadit slipped through the roof while playing and thanks to god I was there, I saved him that day and from then he decided he would be by my side forever.

I stayed in my cabin because I didn't want to see them behaving all lovey-dovey and I can't even kill as he is not at fault. I can just ignore all this.

(Next day)

I reached my office with my black Porsche which is personally my favorite. I entered my cabin at 9:00 and to my surprise Pakhi was waiting for me with a cup of coffee which I could smell perfectly. It was black coffee(I'm sensitive to smell). When I sat in front of her she blasted a bomb at me leaving me speechless......

I may be exaggerating it, but it was like my heart stopped beating for some mere seconds just like when I saw her for the first time.

She was asking for a date!!!.......

I was dancing like a small baby who got chocolate (of course in my mind). I somehow managed to get an appropriate reaction and asked her the reason in my coldest tone just to not ruin my image in front of her.

"Mr. Agnihotri you have asked me for marriage, and I've accepted it but don't you think we should get to know each other before getting married?", she asked me, but I was so mesmerized by her voice that I forgot to reply(stupid me).

"Mr Agnihotri, are you hearing me?", she asked again waving her hands in front of my eyes.

"Yea, we should definitely get to know each other, I like your idea just give me some time I'll inform you back in an hour." I told her after which she gave me a smile and left my cabin.

I was frozen like there's no tomorrow in my life! Her smile, oh my God! I can buy the whole world just to see that smile again.

I closed my eyes and rested my head on sofa to calm myself down after all these things happened to me in just a short period of time, but guess what even after closing my eyes I can hear her voice and that smile she gave me, it was playing on repeat in my mind and that smell of her was still in my cabin. I was lost in her thoughts that I didn't realize that someone came in my cabin until I was punched which brought me back to reality.

I instantly stood up and got that man on knees until a similar voice came. It was Aadit. I helped him to get up and asked him instantly about the best date locations.

He was shocked as I was the person who never went on a date in my life, and now I'm asking about date locations.

He asked in curiosity," Are you not marrying Pakhi now, you got someone else and now even you want to go on a date with her!"

The girl is Pakhi I said casually. "So what if she is Pakhi, you were...wait, What Pakhi!? How did you even convince her?" he asked me with a shocking reaction on his face.

She asked me for the date not me, I said casually again. "Whattttttttttt......" he almost screamed.

Oh! for god's sake Aadit stop overacting!

He said okay, "I was just hyping you up, so you can show how excited you are."

I ordered him to get back to work. Aadit came to my cabin after a few minutes with the list of restaurants and places for a date.

I chose one and then informed Pakhi about the timing and told her that I will pick her up from her house.

I was so fed up with everything, so I called my friends to meet me at my place.

Gunjan lived nearby, so she arrived first with my fav chocolates(she always buys me chocolates). She behaves like my mom and treats me like I was her child, I love it though.

Gunjan was making chai and coffee for us till then Raavi and Anaya also arrived. Raavi brought me her handmade pasta which I can eat every single day without getting bored(she makes the best pasta).

Anaya is the most reserved one in our group if she opens up this means either she is drunk or someone has threatened her. But you'll always see her smiling and laughing like a baby in our group (she can roast anyone without hesitation). She is good until she is laughing, get her annoyed, and you will have to face the consequences.

We four are literally different personalities, but somehow we are here after our years of friendship which started in my first year of junior college.

They are therapy for my every problem. We sat making a round and chatted about our lives. We don't meet very often but whenever we meet the vibe is always the same.

I told them about what happened in my life. They all were shocked like they saw a fish flying, and the other moment they were dancing like it's my marriage today.

I asked them to give me suggestions as I've never gone on dates.

Raavi helped me with makeup and dressing, Anaya suggested to me how I should talk to him and Gunjan told me how to take care of myself and not eat anything unhealthy.

I was all ready for the date, they all encouraged me and dropped me out of my house as Mr. Agnihotri has already arrived in his black limited edition Porsche.

I was so uncomfortable sitting in such a luxurious car, and I am a damn introvert unless and until the person in front doesn't talk to me. I can feel his gaze on me. It was so sharp that it could cut through my dress and because of which I got Goosebumps all over my body.

I was feeling cold even though I wore a long black dress with a jacket to keep me warm. I was so nervous that I would've jumped out of the running car had he not taken away his gaze at me.

He finally said," You're looking gorgeous!" that's it, I was red like a tomato because of the blushing. I can't stand someone complementing me, it's rare that someone compliments me but whenever someone does, you can see the magic of me turning into tomatoes.

"TT.thankyou!" why am I stuttering. Oh! god, How will I spend time with him if I keep reacting like this.

We finally arrived, my jaw almost dropped to the ground after seeing the hotel Milky Way in front of me. Is this any coincidence or did he know that I am an astrophile. It was my dream to explore this hotel but it was so costly that I only dreamed about it, I never thought I would ever get to explore this and eat in this hotel. I was so happy that I almost forgot that the person standing next to me is my boss, I held his hands and led him inside like I was the one who booked this venue. I didn't even notice that when I was busy exploring and noticing everything in the hotel Milky Way I was still holding his hands.

We reached our table which was decorated with spaceships like things and some alien dolls were there holding forks and spoons , the hotel was amazing I was feeling like I'm really in the Milky Way.

I asked in excitement,"Do you akso like astronomy?"
