(thinking for a moment, then looking back at him) A beach. Just... somewhere warm with no fighting. No noise

(quiet for a moment, gazing at the sky) I’ve tried not to. Feels too far away... too impossible

(nods, but his gaze lingers on Unknown.., a touch of vulnerability in his eyes) Yeah, me too. But... maybe we can dream a little. What if we could go somewhere, anywhere, and forget all of this?

(smiles faintly, his eyes meeting Unknown..'s, something unspoken passing between them) Somewhere quiet.
Where no one’s shootìng at us, where we can actually sleep

(softly, a warmth in his voice) Sounds nice. Maybe we’ll get there. Together

(heart racing, but he kept his voice steady) I’d like that.

The sharp crack of a gunshot echoes through the air

(looking at Unknown.., tears in his eyes, blóod and cuts streaking his face)

(meeting his gaze, blóod staining his own face, a soft but intense look in his eyes)

(voice shaking as an explosion erupts nearby) Get out, now!

They rush forward, feet pounding on the ground, but suddenly—

(stops dead in his tracks, eyes wide)
The sound of the gunshots still echoing in the air.

(whispers, voice breaking) No... no, it can't be...

(He stumbles, his face draining of color as the sound of the gunshots lingers. His hand shakes as he reaches for Unknown.., tears welling up in his eyes, shock overtaking him)
Everything freezes. The world seems to fall silent, save for the ringing in their ears. Their hearts race, but time has stopped.
