My family,as you can see,is not like a wealthy family.Let’s just say we’re the middle class family.My dad works as a construction worker.He barely has time for us and he goes to work early and comes back late at night and what they are paying him is $17.99 every week.My mom is a nurse in a community hospital.She works at day and sometimes nighttime.I always wonder how she’s coping with those blood tonics,syringe…. My big sister,Mercy is my number 1 support no matter what.She is always there for me always .She got proposed to her boyfriend but they are still wondering what day to do their wedding.She is also a teacher in Cherryhall primary school.

We were at the table for dinner and dad looked like he wants to say something until…

”should we tell him?” My mom asked dad.He nodded and looked at me.

”Alex,there’s something we will like to share with you.”

”Okey I’m listening.” I dropped my fork and looked at him.

”we’ve arranged a marriage for you and the family are coming to pick you up to their country,”he said,boldly.

”wait what?!” I looked at them.”and you couldn’t ask me?”

”listen,”mom add in,”we are doing this for us to have a better lifestyle.”

“But why should I marry a person I don’t know,I’m not sure of and never even dated?”

”Enough,you are getting married to Mr.Frank Lawrence’s Son,Marcus Lawrence,” dad said.

Marcus??!!! Oh no,anyone but him.We attended the same schools and he has been a bully,a psycho and a fucking son of a bitch\(my bad\) All he does at school is to lavish money on young girls and boys\( of course he’s bisexual\). In the outside of him,he is very handsome,has black hair and favorite color is black.This is Marcus from the outside.

I looked at my family.I know they needed money so bad but I can’t do what I might regret later.Pleaded with dad especially Mercy helped talk to dad but it looks like that’s his final decision.”I have made my decision and you won’t change it.Alex get ready for tomorrow.They are coming or else you’re not my son.” He excused himself and my mom ran after him.Mercy made me calm down and believe that everything will work out for us but I was still feeling sad. So I’m getting married with a very rich enemy.

I went to bed and I couldn’t sleep.So I will become Mr.Alex Marcus Lawrence.I will be lying on his bed with a ring on my fourth finger.

This is a nightmare.

The next morning

I was awaken by Mercy as she was tapping me pretty hard.”they are here” she said.Well don’t judge me for sleeping and then forget what happened last night.I walked almost downstairs and peep from there and that was when I realized that my nightmare isn’t over.

I could see a beautiful model\-like woman with blonde hair with a friendly face and a handsome old man\(maybe\) with black an expensive Versace suit,with black long hair and a bold look.

I was shocked to see them but they looked kind.They were sitting looking very expensive with crossed legs,and talking to my dad with calmness.It looks like My supposed mother-In-law was looking very excited to be her son-in-law.While the man looks kind of strict to be.

“Alex!!” My mom called softly.Well I was on my kittens and puppies pyjamas and I want to embarrass them.So,with boldness,I walked down,with scattered hair,and walked in front of them with flippers.At first,the man was looking disgusted of how I approached him and with that look my dad was disappointed.Then the woman stood up and came to and gave me a big hug.She looked at me and asked whether I know her.Well I know the man,Mr.Frank Lawrence.

“My name is Madeline Lawrence,the mother of the groom you’re getting married to.”She said.She looked so excited to see me.”He look so cute.He is right to be part of the family.”

Mr.Frank,not being sure enough,was convinced to have me as his son.”Alright Mr.Mike,”he said as he faces my dad.”we shall take him with us.”Then began to leave until suddenly I stopped them by saying….

”I haven’t packed my belongings yet.”

”Don’t worry dear,your belongings are at home.Your new home.”My suppose mother-inlaw said as she held my hand.

My parents watched as I was being taken to their Range Rover and it hurts me to say.It took us 6 hours till evening to get to their Mansion.And it’s beautiful.

We passed through the big golden gate and there was a long driveway.As we stopped at the Mansion door,I saw a lot of young Maidens,wearing black and white gowns.I also saw a lot of cars and as the driver opened the door,They welcomed me warmly as if I was their royal highness.My suppose mother-in-law handed them her shoppings,My suppose father-in-law handed them his briefcase and me…I have nothing to hand them so I greeted them too.As I walked in,the mansion in the inside was the most splendid mansion I have eve r seen.”Alright dear,”My suppose mother-in-law said warmly as she raised her arms”welcome to your humble aboard.”And she asked one of the maidens to call her son.

I waited while looking around and was asked to sit down until he came downstairs.

Alright while sitting on the expensive couch as My suppose mother-in-law called her son downstairs.

The maiden came downstairs after calling him.And…Oh my God…He was walking downstairs,Walked straight to his mom and she gave him a big hug.”how’s my boo boo doing?” She asked.”not bad.” He said after greeting his parents.Then he turned his eyes and then saw me.He smiled a big smile and walked slowly to me.I turned away because,of course, he is so cute and romantically handsome and anyone would be lucky to be married to such a family.

“So dad and mom,”he said as he turned to his parents.His mother began to speak.

“Well as you can see,we don’t like seeing you being single and alone so we’ve decided to bring you a husband.” She said as she brought me to herself with her hands on my shoulders and smiled happily.

He looked at my body\(because I was in my pyjamas\) then was asked to take me to his expensive room.He took my hands and went upstairs as if I was his beloved\(which I’m not sure of\).We went to a big black door and he opened it and behold this was his room…

As I looked the whole room,Marx pushed me to the wall and came to my face.I was full blushes because I could see myself coming to my wedding.I looked away because I was shy.

”So,” he began while holding my hands up to the wall.”you agreed to marry me.” I was paralyzed as I heard what he said.

”so you can’t say anything ?” Marx said then whispered to my left ear ”so you love me that you can’t stand the night without me.” Then kissed my left ear.I pushed him back and he looked at me feeling embarrassed.He could understand that he is taking it to the next level then I said.

“Marx,listen.I don’t love or I’m not doing this for money…..”

“Who said you’re doing this for money?”he asked as he dust .

”look,I didn’t know that my parents already planned this before I knew it.Let’s just cut it off and go our ways,alright?”.The only hope I needed is that he agrees but with a smile…

“No.” He said calmly.I couldn’t understand.I thought I made it clear for him to know that I don’t like him.”No?!,but why?”

”because my parents paid $900,000,000 on your head and I need someone to ‘play with’.” He said with an evil smile.(you see this is what I mean by a dark person).So my own beloved family sold me to a rich family to be their son’s bride.What does he meant by ‘play with’.He’s a matured being and he behaves like an acoholic person.He picked me up and put me on the bed.”Now I can do anything with my beloved.”he said as he unbottoned his black shirt and rub my belly with his hands.Pls don’t let it be what I’m thinking.
