The bustling city of Seoul, Soo-yun, a 23-year-old woman, lived a simple life with her mother, Mi-yan. Known for her cute demeanor and deeply emotional nature, Soo-yun spent her days working at a quaint flower shop while dreaming of love as pure and beautiful as the flowers she sold. Her best friend, Mi-cha, often teased her about being a hopeless romantic.

“Love is like a cherry blossom,” Mi-cha said one day, lounging in the shop. “It’s pretty, but it can’t last forever. Stop dreaming about fairytales.”

But Soo-yun believed otherwise. And one fateful day, her belief was tested.

Yu-jin, the heir to a prestigious business empire, had everything: wealth, looks, and charm. At 25, he was the epitome of success and magnetism, the kind of man who left a trail of broken hearts wherever he went. Yet, despite his fame, Yu-jin felt a void in his life, one he couldn’t fill with riches or admiration. His closest confidant, Jake, an American friend he met during university, often joked about it.

“You’ve got the world at your feet, Yu-jin,” Jake said, “but you’re chasing something money can’t buy. What is it? Love?”

Yu-jin would laugh it off, but deep down, he knew Jake was right.

One crisp spring morning, Yu-jin entered Soo-yun’s flower shop, drawn by the vibrant display of cherry blossoms in the window. He was instantly captivated by the girl arranging them, her delicate hands moving with precision and care. She looked up, startled by his presence, her large, expressive eyes meeting his.

“Can I help you?” Soo-yun asked, her voice soft yet melodic.

Yu-jin hesitated, something rare for him. “I… I’d like to buy these blossoms,” he said, pointing to the arrangement she held.

“These?” She blushed, handing them over. “They’re perfect for special occasions.”

He smiled, his signature charming grin. “Then I guess today’s a special day.”

Their interaction was brief, but it lingered in Yu-jin’s mind. He returned the next day, and the next, finding excuses to buy flowers. For Soo-yun, it was bewildering to see someone so glamorous step into her humble shop repeatedly. Mi-cha teased her endlessly.

“Maybe he’s falling for you!” Mi-cha laughed.

“Don’t be silly,” Soo-yun said, though her heart raced at the thought.

As days turned into weeks, Yu-jin found himself opening up to Soo-yun. She was unlike anyone he’d ever met: genuine, kind, and refreshingly unaware of his fame. They talked about everything, from dreams and fears to their favorite books and childhood memories. For the first time, Yu-jin felt seen for who he was, not what he had.

But their budding romance wasn’t without challenges.

Mi-yan, Soo-yun’s mother, was wary of Yu-jin’s intentions. “He’s from a different world, Soo-yun,” she warned. “Be careful.”

Jake, too, noticed a change in Yu-jin. “You’re serious about her, aren’t you?” he asked.

Yu-jin nodded. “She’s special, Jake. She’s not like anyone else.”

Their worlds collided further when Yu-jin invited Soo-yun to a gala. Dressed in an elegant gown, she looked breathtaking, though out of place among the elites. As they danced, whispers filled the room.

“Who is she?”

“She’s not from his circle.”

But Yu-jin silenced them all with his unwavering attention to Soo-yun, his eyes only on her.

Their connection deepened, but the road ahead was uncertain. Could their love withstand the societal pressures and differences in their worlds? And what about the shadows from Yu-jin’s past that threatened to resurface? ....
