The new student
Seoul International High School, South Korea
Eunji Kim, 17, walked through the bustling hallways, her long black hair swaying behind her. She had just transferred to this school, eager for a fresh start.
As she entered her new classroom, all eyes turned to her. Eunji's heart fluttered.

"Welcome, Eunji," *smiling*
"Please take a seat."
Eunji spotted an empty chair beside a boy with piercing blue eyes and chiseled features. He seemed... different.

"Hi"
*he said softly, as Eunji sat down*

"I'm Eunji,"
*she replied, feeling a blush rise.*

"I'm Joon,"
*he said, his gaze lingering on hers.*
Throughout the day, Eunji noticed Joon's peculiar behavior:
- He avoided direct sunlight.
- He wore gloves indoors.
- His eyes seemed to gleam in the dark.
After school, Eunji stumbled upon Joon in the empty cafeteria.
Eunji
You're... different,"
*Eunji said, her voice barely above a whisper.*

*Joon's eyes locked onto hers.*
"You've noticed."

*Eunji's heart pounded.*
"What are you?"
Joon
*Joon's smile revealed razor-sharp fangs.*
"I'm a vampire."

"Don't be afraid,"

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the school, Eunji felt an inexplicable connection to Joon.

"Why did you transfer here?"

"I wanted to escape my past."

As they turned a corner, Eunji stumbled upon a group of students teasing a younger boy.

"Hey, leave him alone!"

Joon appeared beside her, his presence commanding attention. The bullies backed off.

Eunji noticed Joon's fangs had extended, his eyes gleaming with a hint of danger.

"Joon, you... changed,"
*Eunji whispered.*
Joon
*Joon's expression softened.*
"Sorry. I lost control for a moment."
As they continued walking, Eunji realized her feelings for Joon went beyond curiosity.

"Joon, can I ask you something?"
*Eunji said, her voice barely above a whisper.*

"Do you... feel something for me?"
Joon's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze burning with intensity.
Eunji's heart skipped a beat.
Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows.

"Joon, stay away from her,"
*the stranger warned, eyes flashing with hostility.*
Eunji
"Who are you?"
*Eunji demanded.*
Min-Soo
*The stranger's gaze flicked to Eunji.*
"Someone who knows Joon's true nature."

The stranger's warning sent a chill down Eunji's spine.
Min-Soo
"I'm Min-Soo,"
*he replied, eyes fixed on Joon.*
"A fellow vampire. And a friend from Joon's past."

*Min-Soo sneered.*
"You're putting her in danger, Joon. You know the Council won't approve."
Eunji
*Eunji's confusion grew.*
"What Council?"
Joon
*Joon hesitated before answering,*
"The Vampire Council. They govern our kind."
As Min-Soo vanished into the night, Eunji felt a shiver.

"Joon, what's going on?"
Joon
*Joon sighed.*
"My past is complicated. Min-Soo was part of my life... before I left the Council."
The next day, Eunji met two new students:
- Ji-Hyun: A bubbly, fashion-forward student who becomes Eunji's friend.
- Tae-Oh: A brooding, athletic student with a mysterious connection to Joon.
During lunch, Ji-Hyun gossiped about Tae-Oh.
Tea-oh
"Rumor has it, he's connected to the city's underworld."
Eunji's curiosity piqued, she approached Tae-Oh.

"Tae-Oh, what's your connection to Joon?"
Tea-oh
*Tae-Oh's eyes narrowed.*
"Let's just say we share a common enemy."
As Eunji walked home with Joon, Min-Soo reappeared.
Min-Soo
"Eunji, come with me,"
*Min-Soo said, his eyes gleaming.*
"I'll show you Joon's true nature."
Joon
"Trust me,"
* Joon whispered, his hand brushing against hers.*
