Umbra was the country inhabited only by humans, unlike others where supernatural beings, vampires, fairies, elves, mermaids, lycans and others settle. Each being had its own empire, for centuries, they were at peace with other empires, they did not bother other empires and these did nothing against them.

Everything was fine, in total peace, until a war broke out, one declared by the inhabitants of a nearby empire, this was the Lycan Empire. The war began, the emperor of the lycans wanted to take the empire of humans due to their great riches.

And so, they started a war against the human empire, but nobody expected something incredible, among the imperial family, there was an exceptional warrior, thanks to her, the human troops managed to advance, they were unstoppable and the battles she led were successful, this caused jealousy, envy and hatred from her brothers, because the emperor favored her due to her achievements, since she was winning the battle against the lycans, the emperor of these, knew that it was a matter of time before his empire was taken by those humans. But, something happened, just in the final battle, who appeared leading the army was the older sister of her main enemy.

Nobody knew why, but this only favored the lycans, because in a matter of months, they managed to drive the humans out of their territory and soon they would have the entire empire, but the court of the human empire pressured their current emperor to ask for a pact, one where they would give him the territory of the mines, but in exchange the war would end and they would sign a peace treaty. The older princess did not want to, she assured that she would win, but the court did not let itself be manipulated, they knew that they would be lost without the younger princess, this angered the older princess even more, but nothing could be done, the current emperor was convinced and the mines were handed over with all the territory near them. The emperor of the lycans accepted the deal, since that territory was rich in minerals and jewels.

After this peace treaty, the lycan emperor learned the truth and what had happened with his main rival, the younger princess, while the older princess who led the battle felt humiliated, everyone talked about how pathetic she was when leading the battle and that because of her fault, the lycans now had their most important and rich territory. But why did this happen? Why did the older sister lead the battle and not the younger princess? What happened to the younger princess? Everything has an answer and it is just before the decisive battle.

The older princess, jealous of the fame of her younger sister, created a cruel plan to get her out of her way.

The son of an influential duke, approached the younger princess, fell in love with her, asked her to be his wife, promising to reach victory together. She believed in him, accepted an engagement, which was well accepted by her father, since the duke was influential and his army would be of great help to his troops.

He even proposed to crown the younger princess as the empress, since of all his brothers, she was the most suitable. She was happy, not only would she marry the man she loved, but she would also be the empress. And so, the ceremony was done, she and the young duke married, the emperor crowned her empress and her husband, the new emperor. Everything seemed perfect, until one night, her father, the ex-emperor suffered an assassination attempt and immediately the older princess presented evidence blaming the young empress as the author of said act, the ex-emperor also believed in the first princess as well as those of the court, because she had presented days before evidence where the young empress plans to ally with the lycans and hand over the empire.

The emperor corroborated that, he was annoyed by such evidence, he even planned to take the crown from his youngest daughter and believed that this was the reason why the young empress wanted to assassinate him, so that no one would present the evidence of her betrayal.

And so, the one who was once the heroine of the empire, was locked in a dirty cell without food or water, until she received the visit of her sister and her husband. It is there where the young princess knew it, her husband and her older sister had conspired against her, her sister mocked her for how stupid she was and the new emperor only presumed how now the woman he truly loves, would be the empress and they would be happy together, after the older princess wins the battle against the lycans.

Of course, both were totally wrong and because of the ambitious older princess, they had lost an extremely important territory for the economy of the country. Without knowing it, they themselves condemned themselves for their ambition and envy.

While the young princess, perished alone in the dirty cell, abandoned by the people she protected, she died hating all those who betrayed and abandoned her. Asking that if possible, she would give her soul so that the traitors get a miserable end.

And so, precious red eyes opened suddenly, the blurred vision gradually became clear and she could see an elegant ceiling with the chandelier hanging in the middle of it, she sat up and when she brought her hand to her head, her fine black hair slid down, the young woman was surprised at this, especially when she saw that she was in a bed, covered by a sheet of fine fabric.

She raises her eyes, observing around her, she does not recognize that place, as far as she remembers, she died in an old warehouse where she bled to death due to an ugly wound. She stands up until she reaches a mirror, noticing that that, was not her, it was the face of another person. It was a beautiful young woman with black hair, long and beautiful, with a pair of intense red eyes, her skin was pale and a figure that anyone would envy.

《What is happening?》she asks herself in her thoughts.

Suddenly, she feels dizzy and a series of memories are reproduced in her memory, from the moment she was born, until the moment she died in a dirty cell. It was the past, present and future memories of the owner of the body. She feels the immense desire for revenge of the soul, among her memories she sees that young woman before her, both were identical.

"my soul for revenge...make them suffer...finish them..." asked that tormented soul.

She nods and so, that soul disappears and she wakes up, she had fainted on the floor, she even feels a slight pain in her head from the blow. The door opens and it was an older woman who entered, she carries a tray.

"Your Highness, what are you doing? Are you alright?" asks the worried woman.

"I'm fine..." She stands up."Do you have water?"

The woman nods and pours her a glass, while the girl sits on the edge of the bed, she was still a little confused about what was happening. The woman serves the food she had brought and carefully hands her a glass with a red liquid, when she smells the aroma, she is startled.

"Drink quickly, Your Highness..."

The girl holds the glass out of mere instinct and puts the liquid it contained in her mouth. When it touched her tongue, she knew immediately what it was, even her eyes gave a slight glow as all that liquid passed, it was so sweet and she felt her body shudder. When she finishes she returns the glass and the woman keeps it.

"I'll leave you to rest and here I'll leave you some food in case you want to eat." mentions the woman.

"I thank you, Moira..." she replies quickly.

The woman's name resonated in her head. But, what has happened a few seconds ago disconcerted her a little. What she had drunk was blood, but it is supposed to be a human empire, what was happening? Well, by the woman's actions she assumes that no one else knows. She needs to delve deeper into her memory to know more about the body she now possesses.

Victoria Blackwood, the youngest princess and daughter of the emperors of Umbra, demonstrated her prowess in battle from a young age; her strength and agility made her a lethal weapon. Since women in Umbra had more freedom, her parents never opposed her training with her older brothers, after all, the first princess did it too.

And so, Victoria grew up demonstrating her abilities, but with it, the jealousy and envy of her brothers also grew, especially from the first princess, Lethia Blackwood, who detested that Victoria stood out even in beauty, and that was the main reason why poor Victoria would lose everything. But not now, because the current Victoria knows all that future and the secret of her unusual strength and agility, she, was not human, she was only the adopted daughter of the emperors, a girl that the emperor picked up while exploring the forest, the empress, upon seeing the little one, felt sorry knowing where she had been abandoned, so together with her husband, they decided to adopt her and she received the same love as their biological children.

After assimilating that she had reincarnated in a different world, in the body of a different woman, now she had to put some plan in motion to avoid the tragedy. When Victoria left the room after five days of reporting sick, everyone was surprised to see her walking through the palace hallways, she was not wearing her usual battle suit, on the contrary, she was wearing a striking black dress and some accessories that highlighted the beauty of her crimson eyes. But her walk was interrupted when the first princess, Lethia, stood in her way.

"Are you going to a funeral?, you left the battle suit to dress like a crow..." she mocks.

"Even if you mock me, with or without a battle suit, I can cut off that sharp tongue of yours, so, take care of it or you'll lose it," she replies with a mocking smile.

"You?, the fact that you have won some battles, doesn't mean you can against me, I would have already won this war," she boasts with her eyes up high.

"You dream big, sister, but this is real life and for some reason, you don't lead the troops," she mocks.

Lethia only shows annoyance, while Victoria moves her aside to continue on her way, she has no time to waste with that garbage.

Victoria arrived at the meeting room, where the defense plans against the lycans were being carried out. The emperor scolds Victoria for being late and for not having attended for two days. Victoria only observes the emperor, the one who was easily deceived by Lethia.

"I apologize, Majesty, next time I will think about my duty first before getting sick," she bows her head.

Her voice sounded broken, causing confusion in the generals and making the emperor nervous. He clears his throat to continue with the meeting, while Victoria observes everything, although she prefers not to contribute any ideas, even when they ask her, she says that she didn't think about anything else, because the only way to enter the country is that isthmus, so she doubts that the lycans have another route.

At the end of the meeting, the emperor asked Victoria to be prepared for the battle, she will be the one to lead the troops this time, because thanks to her abilities she has earned that "honor". Victoria thanks him and also retires.

Later, Lethia has learned that it is Victoria who will lead the troops, which makes her angry, because for herself, she is a better warrior than Victoria, she is the first princess and the one who should have that honor. Lethia did not hesitate to express her discontent during the family dinner, as she feels that she is the one who should lead the troops.

"Father, if Lethia wishes to take control of the troops I do not object, I fear I will not do well due to my health," Victoria expresses worriedly.

Lethia and everyone at the table are surprised by the words of the youngest. The emperor looks at Victoria with concern.

"Is what you have that serious?" he asks worriedly.

"No, Father, I had a fever, but, my body is still weak and I fear I will not be able to perform well on the battlefield," she explains.

"Victoria sick?, that is quite a novelty," mocks Abel, the first prince.

"Maybe it's just an excuse not to go to battle," adds Byron, the second prince.

"Byron, Abel, enough. If Victoria is not ready yet, then we can wait, we cannot take risks, this battle is important."

Lethia clenches her hands angrily upon hearing her father's words. "I can lead the troops!, I am strong enough, why do we have to stop everything just to wait?, the lycans will not wait," she expresses angrily.

The emperor remains silent, so he keeps thinking, because Lethia is right, the lycans could take advantage of the absence of the troops to attack.

"Alright, Lethia, you will have an opportunity, but keep in mind that if you fail, there will be consequences," he warns.

"I will not fail, Father, I will show you that I am the one for this battle," Lethia assures.

The eldest princess was excited and happy, she can finally prove that she is better than Victoria, she will make everyone see that the lycans will surrender to her power. Victoria, for her part, only smiles slyly, which is seen by Lethia herself, but she dismisses it, she thinks she is just pretending that she doesn't care.

After dinner, while Victoria was on her way to her room, she is intercepted by Byron, who says he does not believe that she is sick, if she were, the doctor would have already gone to check her and so far, no one has seen a doctor visit her.

"Moira gave me a remedy, she knows about that. But my body still hurts," she replies.

"You know that Lethia will fail, right?, everyone knows that you are stronger than her, you have been leading the troops for two years, you have more experience on the battlefield."

"Then she is the one who will face the consequences. Are you worried?" she smiles slyly.

Byron denies it and when Victoria arrives at her residence, Byron says goodbye, continuing his way to his own place.

Victoria waited for the night to advance, it was then that she decided to go out, she jumped from her window feeling her body light until it touched the ground, surely it is an ability of her body. She runs towards the forest, she needs to test the abilities she possesses as a vampire.

She moved faster than any human, her agility was so good that despite the speed at which she runs, she does not collide with the trees. She takes advantage of this to go towards the area where the lycan camp is established, although she had to move very carefully, especially when passing through the human camp, she passes through the forest area, but, the dawn is approaching, luckily she told Moira that she didn't want anyone to bother her. Victoria looked for a cave to rest a little, because at night she would continue her journey.

When dusk arrived, Victoria continued on her way, arriving near half to the lycan area. She moves between the trees like a shadow, until she hears some howls, so she had to watch her steps to get to where she wants. Since, if the real Victoria was accused of treason, she, does plan to betray them, after all, why fight for people she doesn't know? She has no emotional ties with those humans and will enjoy finishing off Lethia and her lover.

Victoria was careless, until suddenly she hears footsteps in the place, so she tries to hide, but, something knocks her down causing her to hit her back hard against the ground. When she opens her eyes a huge lycan was over her, pressing its claws on her wrists while showing its canines and its furious eyes.

"I found a wild cub." he smiles slyly.

Her eyes shine and from one moment to another, she pushes the lycan's body with her feet, managing to free herself. The lycan launches the attack again, but she dodges it and manages to jump to hold him by the neck with her arm. The lycan shakes causing Victoria to be thrown and she manages to avoid a blow against the tree. The lycan growls because the girl was giving him battle, while Victoria shows her fangs and claws.

"Better stop cub, I'm not here to fight, I'm here to have a little chat with the lycan emperor." she speaks to him.

The lycan observes the young woman, he does not understand why a vampire would want to come to the lycan territory, alone and asking to see the emperor. Victoria tilts her head a little and smiles, the memories of the real Victoria let her know who that lycan in front of her is, not only for his appearance, but also for the scent he has, apparently vampires as well as lycans have a good sense of smell.

"it's you, I've seen you on the battlefield." Victoria mentions."Your majesty, the emperor of the lycans, Wolfram Von Der Heide."

The lycan observes her fixedly, surprised to recognize her. He had not seen her before outside the battlefield where she wears a battle uniform and always wears her hair up and a hood. The lycan begins to lose stature while he takes human form again, revealing an attractive man with purple eyes and long hair the same color as his lycan fur. Of course, the man is not wearing any clothes, but, the shame of being seen naked was not something he felt.

"who would say that the Blackwood princess is actually a bloodsucker..." the man comments keeping his guard up.

"Long story that I'm not interested in telling you, I've come for another matter." Victoria replies.

The man just smiles slyly at Victoria's response, although he is curious to know how a vampire is part of the imperial family of Umbra.

"Brave, I must admit. What are you looking for? Is this a trap?" he remains alert.

"No, but I know of one that humans have ready for you, the first princess Lethia will lead the troops for a surprise attack." Victoria, like Wolfram, remains on alert.

"How do I know you're telling the truth? Or are you just pouting because they didn't let you lead the army?" after all, during these two years, that woman before him, is the one who has given him the most problems.

"Let's say yes, they will regret having made me angry." she shrugs.

"Worthy of a bloodsucker, they are vile traitorous rats." he comments mockingly.

"Yes, maybe I'm a traitor, but I have my reasons." she replies calmly.

Victoria throws something at him and upon receiving it, Wolfram sees that it is a scroll, upon opening it, it was the map, where the area in which the human troops will enter is marked.

"Check for yourself if what I say is true, then look for me." she observes him from top to bottom, it was a delight to see that man, but it was time to leave."And don't kill the first princess, I will kill that bitch myself."

Victoria winks at him and disappears into the darkness of the forest like a swift shadow. Wolfram observes the map, but, he does not know if it is real or just a trap by that woman.

Victoria had managed to return to the palace without any inconvenience, just when Lethia was already preparing with the troops to leave, while Victoria observes everything from the balcony. Lethia looks up at Victoria and smiles mockingly at her, although the young princess only moves her hand in a sign of goodbye while showing a malicious smile, at this, Lethia is surprised, she does not know why Victoria acts so calmly.

The troops left and after two days they have already arrived in the area where they will enter for the surprise attack, although the surprise has been taken by them, the lycans were already waiting for them and defended themselves very well, causing the retreat of the human troops, Lethia insisted to the generals to continue, but they knew that advancing was only a sure failure.

While Wolfram was receiving the report, in effect, the troops of Umbra were in that marked area of the map, apparently, that young princess told the truth, but, why betray her people? Although of course, it was unusual that being a vampire, she had been with humans for so long, why does she betray them now? He could not trust her easily, it could be part of some plan to take the glory of the battle.
