Taekook: Wooing My Wife!
Episode 01
Jungkook and Taehyung have been married for three years, It is a Love Marriage.
In the early days, their relationship was filled with excitement, affection, and a sense of partnership.
But as Jungkook’s responsibilities grew, his time and attention for Taehyung began to dwindle.
Taehyung is feeling the strain, wondering if Jungkook even notices his absence.
And Jungkook hasn’t returned home from work.
Taehyung sits alone in their spacious apartment, scrolling through photos from their wedding day on his phone.
The vibrant, carefree couple in the pictures seems a distant memory now.
Door creaks open. Jungkook steps in, looking tired but carrying a laptop bag and files.
Jeon Jungkook
Oh, you’re still up? (noticing Taehyung on the couch, slightly surprised)
Jeon Taehyung
Yeah, just waiting for my husband to remember he has a home. (without looking up, his tone a little cold)
Jeon Jungkook
Come on, Tae. (sighing, dropping his bag on a chair)
Jeon Jungkook
You know how things have been at the company.
Jeon Jungkook
The board is breathing down my neck about that new project.
Jeon Taehyung
(setting his phone down, trying to hold back frustration)
Jeon Taehyung
Every night, Jungkook.
Jeon Taehyung
Every night you’re either at the office, in a meeting, or on the phone. I barely see you.
Jeon Jungkook
I know, and I’m sorry. (rubbing his temples)
Jeon Jungkook
But I’m doing this for us, Tae.
Jeon Jungkook
All of this hard work… it’s to build something for our future.
Jeon Taehyung
……….. (gritting his teeth)
Jeon Taehyung
(crossing his arms, voice tinged with sadness)
Jeon Taehyung
Our future? Or just your career?
Jeon Jungkook
(taken aback, looks at him closely)
Jeon Jungkook
What’s that supposed to mean?
Jeon Taehyung
(standing up, walking closer to him)
Jeon Taehyung
It means I’m tired, Jungkook.
Jeon Taehyung
I’m tired of feeling like I’m not even part of your life anymore.
Jeon Taehyung
We’ve been married three years, and I feel more alone now than I did before we even met.
Episode 02
Jeon Jungkook
(sighing heavily, looking guilty but also frustrated)
Jeon Jungkook
This is temporary.
Jeon Jungkook
I just need to push through this project, and then things will calm down.
Jeon Jungkook
Just… give me a little more time.
Jeon Taehyung
(looking down, voice softer but hurt)
Jeon Taehyung
You’ve been saying that for a year now.
Jeon Taehyung
Do you even know when our last date was?
Jeon Taehyung
Or… our last anniversary?
Jeon Jungkook
(pausing, uncomfortable as he realizes he genuinely doesn’t remember)
Jeon Jungkook
I… I’ve been trying my best, Tae.
Jeon Jungkook
You know how demanding this role is.
Jeon Jungkook
I didn’t take on this position for fun.
Jeon Taehyung
Sometimes I wonder if I even cross your mind during the day. (sighing, more to himself)
Jeon Jungkook
Of course you do! You’re my wife, Taehyung. (defensive)
Jeon Taehyung
(eyes narrowing, taking a step back)
Jeon Taehyung
Then act like it.
Jeon Taehyung
Show me that I matter to you.
Jeon Taehyung
Because right now, it feels like I’m just… waiting.
Jeon Taehyung
Waiting for a husband who’s more of a stranger each day.
Jeon Jungkook
(frustrated but softening as he sees Taehyung’s expression)
Jeon Jungkook
Tae… I don’t want you to feel this way.
Jeon Jungkook
I’m just trying to make sure we have everything we need.
Jeon Jungkook
You know I love you.
Jeon Taehyung
I know you say that, but love isn’t just words. (says with a small smile)
Jeon Taehyung
I need you to show up for me, Jungkook.
Jeon Jungkook
(takes his hand, a bit awkwardly, like he’s not used to these talks anymore)
Jeon Jungkook
You’re right. I know I need to try harder.
Jeon Jungkook
I’ll… I’ll take some time this weekend.
Jeon Jungkook
Let’s do something special.
Jeon Taehyung
(not fully convinced)
Jeon Taehyung
You always say that, and then you cancel.
Jeon Taehyung
Every time. Just… let’s see.
Jeon Jungkook
(sighs, nodding, squeezing Taehyung’s hand before releasing it)
Jeon Jungkook
I’m sorry, Tae. I’ll try to make it up to you. 😊
Later that night, Taehyung lies in bed, staring at the ceiling while Jungkook is still working in their shared office space.
The soft glow from Jungkook’s laptop shines under the crack of the door.
Taehyung rolls over, pulling the blanket up, feeling the weight of the distance between them.
Jeon Taehyung
Maybe I don’t matter as much as he says… (whispering to himself)
Jeon Jungkook
(from the office, glancing at a photo of Taehyung on his desk, a rare moment of regret crosses his face)
Episode 03
It’s another late night, and Jungkook is still not home.
Taehyung sits in the dimly lit living room, wrapped in a cozy blanket with a mug of tea that’s already gone cold.
The silence of the apartment feels almost suffocating.
Taehyung checks his phone for messages, scrolling through their last conversation—just a quick text from Jungkook saying he’d be home late.
Taehyung sighs, wondering if this is all his marriage has become: waiting for someone who might never show up.
Taehyung’s thoughts drift. He remembers the early days of their marriage, the little promises and dreams they shared, and how Jungkook used to light up whenever they were together.
Now, that warmth feels like a distant memory.
Jeon Taehyung
(whispering to himself, sadness in his tone)
Jeon Taehyung
Is this really how it’s supposed to be?
Jeon Taehyung
Am I just supposed to sit here and wait… forever? 🙂
Taehyung picks up a framed photo of them together from the coffee table.
He traces his fingers over Jungkook’s smiling face in the picture, a bittersweet smile tugging at his own lips.
Jeon Taehyung
Where did we go wrong, Jungkook? (to the photo, softly)
Jeon Taehyung
I miss you. I miss us. 😢
Taehyung remembers a night a year ago.
They had stayed up late, laughing and talking about silly things.
Jungkook had held him close, whispering promises of love and a bright future.
Taehyung had believed him then, convinced that their love could withstand anything.
Taehyung’s phone buzzes, breaking him out of his thoughts.
It’s a notification from social media—a friend’s post, sharing photos of a night out with their partner.
They look happy, carefree, and completely absorbed in each other.
Taehyung feels a pang of jealousy.
He scrolls through the photos, feeling the emptiness in his chest grow.
Suddenly, he can’t take it anymore.
He stands up and walks to the large windows, staring out at the city lights below.
Jeon Taehyung
(muttering to himself, trying to reason)
Jeon Taehyung
Maybe I’m just overreacting.
Jeon Taehyung
He’s busy, he’s working for us… But then, why do I feel so… alone?
Taehyung’s hand goes to his ring finger, absentmindedly twisting his wedding band.
The idea of leaving crosses his mind, a thought that both scares and intrigues him.
