Nova's POV

I was taking my afternoon naps peacefully, but something disturbed me, my mom's voice. She shouted "wake up you lazy girl, get your ass off the bed. We are getting LATE!!!"

I sit up and say "why are you shouting mom" and then I have to face that glare it means I did something wrong".

Mom replied "I think it was you who was the most excited to go to the party". I realized that I am so excited to go to a party that I can't sleep last night and fall asleep now. Mom said "Get ready and come downstairs. No need to hurry. There's still time" she left the room smirking. She left open-mouthed, wasn't she the one who said we were getting late. I got up from the bed and took a bath. After bathing, I do my makeup and wear my dress.

After a long drive they reached their destination.

Then I go to park my car and yeah I was my own driver. I mean they are my first love and I don't like anyone else driving them. If you're wondering about Mom and dad, they came together in another car.

After parking my car I went inside the mansion. There I saw Ashley uncle talking to my mom and dad, I ran and hugged him. I was the first hug after those 5 years. I feel so good and warm. Then I hear a voice saying "I don't think anyone wants my hug". I turn around and aunt Nicole is smiling. I felt so happy and hugged her. She says "you know how much I miss that smiling face of yours" with teary eyes.We broke the hug to see everyone smiling at us. We do some chatter and eat some snacks.

After my younger brother and I finished greeting the guests, we looked in our father's direction and saw him SMILING!! It was a REAL SMILE not a fake one. Mother, she had tears in her eyes. Then we looked at a girl whom our parents were talking to. She is very beautiful, mesmerizing, literally breathtaking because of her there's a smile on our parents face, I wonder who she is?
